Thanks to everyone who stopped by on Minnie's 2 Year Angel Day (Feb. 6th).  It means so much to me that people still remember her.  Some days, it feels like I just lost her, while other days, it feels like it was a lifetime ago.  It never gets any easier, does it?

I know this won't show up on the forum for a few days but I will write it anyway.

For those of you who have been following Karley's story, IF you would like to write to the Judge in this case, please visit Karley's page & get the info.  It's on the page where the guilty verdict is listed.

I do want to thank everyone who has been here for us through this ordeal.

xoxo...

I'm still having a very hard time with the passing of Gypsy rose. Every time i visit her memorial i just break down in tears, but i do for other people's losses because i know how they feel and it's just hard. But i have to visit her because i just love her so much. They say time will help, but that's not to that point yet. I have my little tinky who just 2 weeks after gypsy passed away had to have 3 surgerys all for the same knee..She is having a hard time. She loves people and animals, eventually i will  get another dog to keep her company-i know it can't be a pom because it just would not be the same as rosey and rosey i could never replace that baby, i love poms, but it would hurt to much. And to everyone else who is going thru a  hard time, bless you..........

02-10-2010 9:01 PM -- By: Cindy,    Critters.com memorial:   Sir Villain Cody Memorial
I'm having a very difficult time dealing with the loss of my beloved dog Sir Villain Cody. Villain for short that was his given name the Sir Villain Cody that we gave him. He was a pure breed Siberian Husky black and white with Crystal Blue eyes. We were blessed with his presence for 13 wonderful years. He was just old and worn out and I had to make the choice of sending him to the Rainbow Bridge or North of the Rainbow Bridge as everyone tells me that is where the Husky's go because it is cold there for them. I cry my eyes out every day for him. I hear him bark during the night. We had him cremated so he is now resting comfortably in our living room and I talk to him daily. I never would have thought it would be so hard to let go of a fur baby. But it's been very hard for me. I loved him so much and miss his presence to so much. I just don't know how I am supposed to cope with it. I just find comfort in knowing his pain and suffering are now over and he will be waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge.

To All of My Critters Family:  I am taking this time to wish each and every one of you an early .. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY.  Though Sunday is Sammy's birthday .. the day he and I found one another .. I didn't want to forget to wish you all a HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY.

I am going to try to make it a fun day in celebration of Sammy's Birthday.  My plan is .. since Sammy loved to go riding in "his" truck .. I am taking Cupcake and Xander for a ride and perhaps stop and buy them a McDonald's Cheeseburger .. just like Sammy loved.  All this is in my son's memory.

I have also created a new page "Dedicated to the American Pitbull Terrier" and I encourage you to stop by and take a look.  To those of you who I used your Pitbull baby's picture .. I hope you do not mind that I did.

Sending warm hugs to all from cold and very snowy Santa Fe .....

I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone for remembering my Heidi and posting your messages from all over the world. Thank you for taking the time to care. I am unambulatory from a severe auto accident living away from home for so long now. I don't really get out and see anyone and Heidi was my whole world and best friend. It has meant so much to me that everyone wrote on the guestbook. It made me feel not so alone in all of this. So thank you to all of you who truly understand the loss of best furry friend.. Special Thank You to the woman (i thiink it was Debbie from Tampa) who remembered Heidi and me on our one month without each other. I so very much appreciate it. God Bless all of you. Remember, Dog is GOD spelled backwards. And God is love. Love to all - Joe

After reading the other posts their is little I can add to express how we feel.  All of our animals have found us rather than us seeking them.  In some way they were in need of a home.  We have been blessed to have shared their lives and hold fond all their memories.

02-01-2010 9:14 PM -- By: caren,    Critters.com memorial:   Gypsy Rose Memorial
It's only been 2 1/2 months and it is still so hard, some days are better than others but like today everything makes me cry, i saw another pom today when i brought tinker to the vet-looked just like rosey, i just wanted to pick it up and kiss it.....It's still hard for me to believe she's gone. She was my child to me, since i have none, they say time helps, i guess it will be along time then.

So the quiet house is quiet no more....last night on Sheeba's 6mth angelversary and Coqui's 3 week angelversary we added the newest member to our family.  We adopted an 8 week old female mix from the local animal league.  Spirits here again are lifted although I did go into tears during the adoption process when they asked me about Sheeba.  Our newest addition "Kona" brought the smiles back into our house (as well as the sleepless nights).  I will be sure to post pictures soon!!

And I must say a house without a pet is not a home.  Something was missing in my life until yesterday!!

Lisa, Keith, Matt, Danielle and KONA

01-28-2010 11:45 PM -- By: Dianna,    Critters.com memorial:   Nestle Memorial
I thank God for Critters.com and the ability to create a memorial for the doggie love of my life - Nestle...  Nestle has been gone now just under two weeks.  I dont know what i would have done if it werent for this site and being able to share my thoughts and get the support of others.  Although reading through the memorials has brought many tears to my eyes, it has also brought a sense of peace in some ways.  It is wonderful to see so much love and compassion in the world for our beautiful furry friends.

My husband and i had to make the heart renching decision to put Nestle to sleep because of Mass Cell Tumors.  Even though the vet said there was nothing that could be done and that the cancer had spread to her liver, the aftermath of that decision is so hard to deal with.  My range of emotions has run the gammet; guilt, anger, depression, deep sadness.  I am trying to get through the pain so that i can look back on all the wonderful memories i have of Nestle.  But right now all i can do when i think of her is cry.   Some dear friends of ours have told us that the pain we are feeling is in direct correlation with the love that we have for Nestle.  Oh how we miss her beautiful little doggie face.  It is so hard to think of her not here with us in this house.  She was 14 years old and i know that we are very fortunate to have had such a wonderful time together.   But she could have been 114 years old and it wouldnt have been long enough.

Thank you to all that have given us their support.  Strangers, friends, family.  This is a wonderful communtiy of people brought together simply because of their deep compassion and love of their animals.

Wishing you all peace and love.
