Hi everyone. I wanted to send best wishes this holiday season to all my new friends and supporters of critters.com who have been so wonderful and helpful during the past few months in the loss of my dearest Jasper. Although it's very hard to write this, I am in a much better place now than I was a few months ago due to the overwhelming support of all of you awesome people out there who really have cared and shared. I am so grateful to you all and don't know where I'd be right now if I had not found this site. Wishing you all the best this holiday season and a very happy, healthy and safe new year. Know that our fur babies, our pawmates are with us always and are watching out for us with love. It's only a temporary goodbye, I'm convinced.

12-12-2010 1:37 PM -- By: pat and fayeroe and tippy, Pet's name: Teddy Jack is with Fayeroe. He died this morning around 11:00 a.m. Jack soldiered on after Fayedy left him but it was very hard. He visibly grieved for at least a year. I don't think he could stay her longer without her. She is the only real friend he has ever had. They were together 7 years. We don't know how old Jack is because he came to the ranch a full grown dog in 1999. He had grown gray around his muzzle and eyes. He took his last walk to the creek on Friday. We made our way there, slowly, and he laid down in the sun and watched Clem and Lita look for pecans. The day before that he had been looking for nuts and was a bit frisky. I knew on Friday he was shutting down.
