 Hi Henry,  wanted to stop by and say hello to you and your fur babies!! You can tell how much Buddy, and Gretchen really loved you, and that you were for sure, # 1 Dad!! That 1 pic w/ Buddy resting his head on your shoulder says it all! Hoping you had a happy Halloween, AND THAT our babies were looking down on us, saying" silly humans", what are they still doing!!  Hi Henry, Gretchen and Bailey,

I wanted to stop to wish you and your family (2 and 4 legged) a safe, happy and spooktacular Halloween. Princess loved to greet the children and even garnered a treat herself from time to time. No trick or treaters anymore as they go into town to visit the businesses instead. It is sad as I have such happy memories of going from house to house and sorting loot afterward but I guess it is just another sign of changing times and matters of safety. Ah well, things do change except for the love for our friends...here and now passed.

Thank You so much for giving me that wonderful information. Than will help a lot. I did not even think about that when I took Princess into the vet. It is so hard to think straight when we are in a situation like that but I will know next time. I was reading about Bailey and Getchen and they are so precious. They are so pretty and I know we will see them again one day. That is why it is called Heaven. Thanks again,  Sandy

Hi Henry and thanks so much.I cryed like a baby after looking at and reading all your pages.All the beautiful pictures of bailey and gretchen made me think of rowdy so much and how much i miss his beautiful little face.I am so lonely now( and its a terible feeling ) without him and have times i wish i was gone now also.i pray that he is up in heaven like they say with mom cause i know she missed him so much also when she left ths rotten world.well thanks again and come back again and i will remember to visit bailey and gretchen more often bye and love ya

Hi Henry . Thankyou for stopping by and yes another precious baby was brought into the shelter. He was found on the highway.Although he looked under nourished ,i did not think anything was wrong other then being hungry but as the day went on ,i thought something was not right as he seemed to be wobbely. I took him in to the vet emergency clinic and they had found he had gotten into some sort of poison or pesticides. I guess the poor baby was so hungry, he didn't care what he ate. Anyway he is doing alot better and of course eating some good food and i know he will regain all of his strenght. He is such a sweet little Beagle. I don't know how anyone can just dump him off as that seems to be what has happened. I called the humane society,etc. and he was not reported missing . Anyway he is with me now and i know i will find him a forever loving home after he gets his health back. I will never understand how anyone can just drop these poor babies off to fend for themselves but i am happy he was found before the cold weather got here.

Yes it is time to get ready for winter as it will soon be upon us. I hope we don't get too much snow but some snow and a mild winter is fine with me, but i guess we take what we get.

We're so sorry that you lost your dogs. We almost started crying when we read that y'all heard him playing with his squeaky toy because we still hear Peaches barking and whining and running around and playing, just like she did when she was here, and sometimes she even wakes us up at night. We'll see our babies again one day.

Dearest Henry and all the gang .... stopping by to say "HI" and to let you know I was thinking of you all.  Hoping all is well out your way.  Things here are really changing .. cooler nights/early mornings and the leaves .. oh wow .. what beautiful colors.

The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is going on and I went last weekend ... over 600 balloons and the colors and shapes ... and how I thought of Rainbow Bridge and all our beautiful kids .. running and playing in all those beautiful colored flowers .. like all the balloons.

Hi Henry , Rose , kids and Angels I just wanted to stop by and let you know you have not been forgotten. I have been spending my time outdoors as the weather here is just beautiful. This is my favourite time of year. This past summer was just to hot for my likeing and i spent most of my time indoors if i was not at the lake. I have been raking leaves around the shelter grounds and of course i have alot of help as not only do my own fur babies get into the already raked pile of leaves but so do all the shelter babies.LOL.They are all also enjoying the outdoors now with the cooler weather and of course digging around in the leaves. LOL. I managed to get my fence painted at home this past weekend also. Soon i will be putting things away for the winter.

How are you and the kids doing? How is Abby doing? I am sure she is good and spoiled by now and is getting along well with the other kids.

Hi Henry , Rose and kids. I am just stopping by to say Hello and hope you had a great holiday. The weather here is finally cooling down and i am able to enjoy the outdoors with all the fur babies which we could not do most of the extreme hot summer. The leaves are starting to turn colors and soon we will have alot of fun with the blowing leaves and me raking and the fur babies messing up the piles of leaves. LOL. Fall is always a fun time for us.

I hope all is well with you and your weather has cooled some for you also. How is Abby doing? I am sure she is fitting in with the family. She certainly is a pretty girl.

thanks so much for the kind words .i see rowdy in your gretchen and bailey.they are the most loveing dogs a person could have i  know that now.we had many dogs over the years and when mom got rowdy i have never gotten so attached to anything like that ever and never missed anything so much in my whole life as i do that little dachshound..well thanks so much for all your stories and pictures and i know gretchen and bailey and now rowdy are pain free and having a wonderful time together

Hi Henry, Rose and family.  Just wanted to stop by and wish you a great vacarion.  That's right Henry "You are the pack leader". LOL'  I am sure the problem with Abby will work out also. I had that problem with Luke when i first rescued him. I could not figure it out as i have never had that problem before. I can understand a young puppy while in training doing that but Luke was 16 months when i rescued him. After trying all things ,i thought maybe because he was left outside and forgotten about, whether it was extremely hot or cold out , where i got him from ,he was afraid i would forget him  being outside also., so was in a hurry to get back in.So i tried going outside with him and watching him till he did his business, then he would run to the door ahead of me and could not wait for me to open the door to get in. I believe that was his problem as after i started making him go outside by himself , he would watch the door, to make sure i was standing there and waiting for him. If i walked away from the door,he would run back in the house without doing his business outside first. After awhile when he realized i was not going to forget about him outside, he was fine. He would tap on the door when he wanted to come in as he knew i would hear him and let him in. LOL. I am sure all will work out with Abby ,also. It seems like these rescue babies come with some kind of problem through no fault of their own. I see that in almost all at the shelter,which i try and work through before i adopt them out.
