Bless you, Christine, and your husband for sharing a forever home, life and unconditional love, with your dear little girl Carmel. I am so very glad that a beautiful soul like Carmel got to share most of her earthbound years with a family who loved and respected her.
I don't care how many years pass, when you lose an amazing family member like Carmel we can't help but look back with a bit of sadness. Their time with us is always too short, but the love they give to us during those shared years leaves memories that last a lifetime.
Bless gentle spirit and Angel Carmel. It seems as if you and your husband were destined to find and love Carmel, Christine. May your shared memories bring you a measure of peace every day unitl you are reunited.

Our most recent addition to the family came from Evergreen Golden Retriever Rescue in Bellevue. As chance would have it, the mother of my boy is named Carmel! I am sorry for the loss of your dear friend and wish you wonderful memories of her on this memorial day today.

There is a bond that you can't see
for it's not bound with twine.
It's formed from strands within our souls,
this love that's yours and mine.
When I went home to be with God,
