Thank you for thinking of me and for your posting. I hope you are having a nice Mother's Day. Since I don't have human children, no one ever wishes me a "Happy Mother's Day" and it really touched me that you thought to do that. I just read the posting from Cinnamon and Bruce and it brought tears to my eyes. I feel the same way he does. I really can't believe that Delilah is really gone and not coming back. I keep waiting to hear her meow or come walking in the room and put her little paws up so I can pick her. I am not able to even speak her name without crying. I want so much to be able to talk about her and the amazing girl she was. She deserves to be remembered for the joy she gave me and not the pain her death brought, but I am not there yet. Thank you again for thinking of me. I am so grateful to be able to talk to people who truly understand.

Princess & Michelle,
Cinnie and I received your note on Monday, 5/5 (thanks to both of you special ladies), and as always we were touched and moved by feelings and sentiments you spoke of.
Like you, Michelle, there are nights, or time spent alone, even while driving back and forth to work . . . I have 55 mile drive each way! . . . that I just can't, or don't want to come to grips with my little Cinnamon's no longer being physically present. Hard right now to even type out the words.
From your photos, and more importantly your thoughts over the years, Michelle, how deep are the memories and the love they contain, that a sound, or a particular type of weather, or passing a place you once visited with Princess, can take you back instantly to the wonderful times you shared with her.
From way over here on the east coast, I can see and hear your beautiful Princess, the sound her paws make in the wet sand when she chases her stick, and the beautiful, life affirming sound Golden's make when they are in the middle of a run, or a great game of fetch or catch. And when they break into conversation, with woofs and hoots as Golden's a Labs do when they play with their people, I just don't believe it's possible to forget that, or not miss that, forever.
As you mentioned, Michelle, I almost always feel as if Cinnamon has been gone too long, or as if I just saw her yesterday. What it tells me is that Cinnamon belongs in my universe, and not having her here, every day, is the part that will be always be out of sync.
By the way, we spent extra time with Cinnamon at the candle ceremony on Monday, and precious Princess, and her Mom, were in our thoughts and prayers.
I am so very thankfurl to have met you and Princess here, Michelle, and angel Ma, and your family, and of course Kit and Bailey. And, as if there is any doubt, Cinnamon just wanted me to remind you that we look forward to every visit.
Cinnamon & Bruce

It's been awhile since I have been here. So much going on, I decided to retire and relocate to the Carolina's. As I sit here now and see the picture of Princess, again what I see is the love in her eyes she has for you. Today on this special day find the time to just sit back close your eyes and remember all the wonderful days you enjoyed with Princess. And as always if you hold her memory close to your heart she will always be with you...

Hi Michelle and pretty girl Princess.
Thank you for stopping by and your kind post as always. I have not been on here too often as with spring being here ,there is always so much extra work besides the daily work to get done as you know. I hope all is well out your way and that the furkids are both doing well.
I am sure your flowers are all in full bloom by now as are the trees around you. The trees around here have just started to get their leaves and most of my perenials are up but not all of them just yet. Some of them are late to bloom this year as it has been colder than normal up until last weekend. I hope spring is here to stay now.We have been having sunny and warm days which is much appreciated after the extreme cold winter.
Wishing you a beautiful spring and know although I don't come here much, my friends/Critters family are never far from my thoughts.

Thank you Miss Michelle and Princess Baby Girl for thinking of us and sharing Luna's Birthday with us. I know magic happens when they think of us. Luna walks up to Princess Baby Girl and thanks her for her song, then hands her a goodie-bag ... As Princess Baby Girls looks in her mouth waters, "It's filled with lots of gourmet treats and edible eats", a pet blinkey light for her colalr, an I Love NY doggie T-shirt ... and our never ending dreams. All our love, Luna & her mom Nadine

Thank you for checking on me. I am sorry it has taken me so long to respond, but, I really want to thank you so much for your words of encouragement. I am doing o.k., just taking it one day at a time. I do alright at work (as long as no one mentions Delilah). My friend keeps me laughing and I keep busy. It's the rest of my time that is difficult. Every morning and every evening was filled with taking care of her and spending time with her and now the house feels so empty and quiet. I have another cat, Sweetie Pie, who showed up in my yard, starving, in 2010. I also take care of some ferals, including one named Baby, who has become pretty attached to me and has been spending alot of time in the house. But, it's not the same. It was just Delilah and I for so many years. We've been through alot of ups and downs and she was always such a comfort for me. I couldn't wait to get home from work to see her. I really didn't want to do anything on the weekends because it would mean spending time away from her (especially after she became sick). I swear, she knew me so well, I didn't have to speak a word sometimes and she knew exactly what I wanted. She was just so precious to me. Words could never express what she meant and my life will never be the same without her. I love Sweetie Pie and Baby gives me something to look foward to, but I miss my Li-Li terribly. I have been reaching out more to my friend and my Mom. They have been very supportive. She brought me so much happiness and love, I want so much for her memories to bring a smile and not tears. She deserves that. Thank you again for your kindness. It really does mean alot.

What a wonderful tribute to your beautiful Princess Baby Girl! She had such a sweet face. I lost my Delilah 3/28/14 and life is so hard without her. I am working on her memorial but sometimes it is too emotional. I enjoy seeing the other memorials here at Critters. It makes me realize that I am not alone in how I felt about my precious girl. She was my whole world and I am lost without her. You have my sympathy for your loss.

Dearest Michelle and precious Princess ... Thank You for your kind posting. I made my 10-mile walk in 3 hrs. 15 minutes .. BUT .. when I got to this church .. my legs started cramping up real bad .. that I felt I was going to pass out .. but I drank three bottles of water one right after the other and rested .. then I was fine. But Saturday/Sunday/Monday, my calves were so sore from the cramping .. but feeling better each day.
Keep me posted on your 5K walk and the 10K run ..... I will be rootin' for you all.
Sending hugs through the miles ....

Michelle & Family,
Back from a day long birthday celebration for my sister-in-law Melanie, during which, of course many memories of our beloved Cinnamon were shared, which, or course, resulted in many tears shed. Thank you so much for sending your best wishes!
Thank you so very much, Michelle, and of course your sweet, precious, 'there will never be enough heartfelt, positive adjectives to convey how special she is' Princess, and the beautiful memorial your created together here, for providing a large measure of the emotional 'shove' that I needed in order to create and publish her memorial.
I don't know whether Cinnie would say she was lucky or not; yes I do, I know she would; but she has two sets of parents, and fortunately for all of us, custody was never an issue. We all were blessed to share our daily lives with this very special girl, and soul, and I don't have to tell you how profound the is when they leave.
Finally, for those folks such as you and your husband, Michelle, who love these special creatures so very much, as me and my family do, a little story from yesterday. We stopped at an outlet center, one of Melanie's requests, and as they all do now, we located the designated dog walking area. Anyway, we have three little piebald Dachshunds, who I've chosen not to share here on Cinnie's memorial, and we met up with a Dad out 'walking' his three black lab kids. Two from the same parents but different litters, and a 3rd, with only three legs, who was just as happy, and loving, as the other two. We learned, when the labs Mom and human sisters approached, that the baby with three legs was a rescue, and oh how thrilled I was that they had opened the home, life and hearts to this baby, and it reminded me again of how very blessed we are that people like them exist, of our course for our precious canine kids.
Thanks again for your Easter and birthday wishes, and I cannot overstate how wonderful it has been to meet wonderful folks like you, Michelle, and your entire family, here.
HAPPY EASTER to the Harvey's, and all of there amazing angels. I know you and Cinnie, and all of my other angels, understand and appreciate the true meaning of a time like this, and how very much you are cherished, forever, by your family.
Peace & Love, Cinnamon & Bruce

Michelle, Princess & Family,
I apologize for not getting back to you sooner, Michelle, but the posting issues here at Critters are still dtriving me crazy.
Believe me when I say every message Cinnie and I receive from you guys is appreciated and cherished.
Although it seems many rules here at Critters are in place to retrict communication, It would be a tremendous honor for Georgette and I to visit with you some time. I have to say both my brother and I are horrible about getting together, but the chance to meet your family is impetus.
Wishing you and your family, including precious, beloved guardian angels Princess, Marquisea, Barkley, KitKat, Jolean, Critter and Miss Parker; Mom and Dad, beloved Kit and Bailey, a joyful Easter!
Peace & Love, Cinnamon & Bruce

Michelle, thank you for remembering Misty on her 5th Angelversary and for your kind words. I'm not on Critters much so I miss a lot of the Angel Days and Birthdays. But be sure I think of all of them and how Critters saved my sanity back in 2009. Thank you.

My Dearest Friends Michelle and precious Princess .. Kit and Bailey too .. just wanted to stop by and wish you all a great Easter Weekend. I will be walking to the Santuario de Chimayo .. a yearly-pilgrimage for many. It will be a 15-mile walk and I'm doing it in honor of my Auntie. I hope I make it as I haven't done it in many, many years.
I know my Auntie will be "rooting" me on as will Sammy, Gabby and little Bob M, Princess, Luke, Butler, Luna and so many other furkids that I love and adore.

Princes Baby girl and mom Michelle,
Their love is always near, and our hearts will ALWAYS hold on to the love we share, and even in times of sorrow when we miss them most, I know they are happy, watching and waiting ... because we will meet again one day. Thank you for your thoughts, words and your angel with us ... if they each hold on to the love we share with them, it's no wonder they are as bright as the North star, maybe brighter because we will always know our way home ... it lives within their heart. (hugs) Luna & her mom Nadine

Got your message & to answer your question.....I received your post from Christmas Day which has been posted since then, but I haven't received any other ones. Sometimes I don't get notified so I checked my guest book thru edit in case some of your postings were missed, but I didn't find any - only 2 missed entries from some other people. I am really sorry that I missed Princess' anvelversary a few days ago. Due to being in & out of the hospital over the past few months & having my computer completely die in early Feb. (I finally got a hand-me-down replacement!), I have not checked back at Critters in a long time -- so sorry. I thought maybe that was how I might have missed your postings too, but when I checked the guestbook thru edit there aren't any postings there. So, who knows what happened to them. Anyway, I do hope that you and your family are doing well and I hope you're having a beautiful Spring so far . Take Care.
