I lost my 15 year old Picky on Sept 9, 2010 and the pain is so raw and intense.
Does pain get any better with time? Because right now it is so raw and aching. My heart remains broken. He was the light of my life.

An Angel Kiss
An Angel kissed my tears away
today when I was sad.
I wasn’t feeling quite myself
my day had been so bad.
I felt a warmth brush by me
that quickly dried my tears;
A gentle, kind, and loving touch
that seemed to hold me near.
Immediately, I felt so much better
and the day seemed brighter, too.

Gee how time seems to fly, but you know we still feel them with us, that special part they gave us long ago, their heart! I know how much your mommy misses you, I had a similar attachment to my mom, but instead of crying I would slip my tongue under the door and steal some drops of water ... hahaha, mom when she noticed she would drop a few extra drops of water on my tongue and it would move even faster ... but the best part is when she got out of the shower, I would rustle her for her towel and I usually won ... she was usually 1/2 dry and would find me on top eating a corner, conquest! Oh the memory, my mom has tears running down her face ... guess she will always miss me. but I know with great love comes a huge heartache, one you never really prepare yourself for but know we are at the bridge playing amongst all our friends and we are happy, healthy and one day you will see us again ... and at that time you would have forgotten every tear you ever shed because in your arms we will once again be ... but this time forever.
