I am so happy you had some wonderful times with Winky. I don't think it gets easier as the days turn in to weeks, months, and years. We lost our beloved Kava just a week ago, so many happy memories. Thanks for sharing yours.

Thank you for your kind words.  I loved Zeke with all my heart.  The kids at school are just now starting to put their feelings about him down on paper.  As they continue to write, I will put them on Zeke's pages so Zeke will know how much they loved him too.  As I am writing this, Winky is looking at me with her beautiful eyes.  I know that she is treating Zeke right and helping him adjust to heaven.  Thank you again for writing.

Winky is so beautiful....I recently lost my beautiful girl Sasha on Monday April 26, 2011. It came on suddenly and just crushed me.

Winky was such a beautiful baby!  Thank you for sharing your beautiful story.  I am sure Winky helped Zeke cross Rainbow Bridge.  I miss my Ezekiel, but I am sure Winky is taking good care of him.  Even though Zeke has made new friends, it will take a long time to heal my heart.

Dear Winky and Family,

This is the 3rd year for you too that a holiday celebration will occur without your friend Winky. Princess and I are trying to catch up after being without power for the last 3 days. It has been cold but thanks to the living heaters Kit and Bailey and to our trusty wood stove, we have survived!  Power is back but too late for us to have a family dinner today. I want to wish you a wonderful day and to thank you for your continuing friendship and support.

I hope the fall finds you all well and happy though I know you are still missing Winky. Princess loved to greet children at the door at Halloween and even gleaned a few treats for herself from time to time. Halloween is not what it was and I guess times do change but I recall very happy memories of this first celebration of the fall.  Your critters friendship is remembered and cherished.

Reading about Winky had me in tears.  She is such a beauty.  You can tell by her eyes what a treasure she was to all of you.  We lost our Jax in July of 2009 and we are still hurting so much.  Our pets are sooooo good for us and to us.  When they have to leave us, it creates a void only "animal" people understand.  Treasure your memories.

Winky, is just beautiful.  We recently lost our golden, Sadie, to cancer.  She was only seven and it came very suddenly.  We only had one day to prepare.  It broke our hearts and she is greatly missed.  I will pray for your family and hopefully Sadie and Winky are now friends.
