Thank you for your words about the loss of our Blue Eyes.  After reading your information, I just cannot believe losing so many "family" at one time.  I have started with reading about Simey and just cannot express my sorrow for what you have been through.  I think it is wonderful that you have shared your story with everyone because it also helps me to remember I am not alone in my grief.  I can tell you truly loved Simey as one of the family and as part of your "heart".  They have made all of our lives so enriched for certain.   God Bless you, Simey and all of our loved ones!

To My Baby Simey:  My heart still aches with sadness, secret tears still flow, what it meant to lose you, no one will ever know.  When days are sad & lonely, and everything goes wrong, I see your face and you seem to say, cheer up Mummy and carry on.  Each time I see your picture, my heart feels if you could talk you would say, "don't cry Mummy, I'm only sleeping, we'll meet again someday".  I love you my precious and Mummy misses you so much.  I'll love you to the moon and back - Your Mummy, always in love with you.

Remember me always, but do not grieve for me too long. I have tried always to comfort you in times of sorrow, and have made every effort to add joy to your life. I never wanted to cause you pain.

Peace for me is certain now, and I suspect I will have eternal sleep in the earth I have loved so well.

Please, after your period of grieving for me, make room in your heart for another. You are the kind of human being that should always have a friend like me to love. Your kind and gentle heart should not be wasted on my memory for too long. Give love to another. I know your new friend will never take my place, because we had something very special.

It may not be quite the same, but a new devoted and loving companion will in time, become special in their own way.

You loved me very much and I loved you. My spirit will always be with you, and no matter how deep in my sleep, my grateful heart will always be purring for you.

At the ending of the day when I'm weary

Hi Mary Lou...I haven't been online much this last year, especially the last 6 months.  I am sorry I missed Simey's 2nd Angel Day, I know how much you love and still miss her (but you know that she is always with you in spirit).  I don't know if I told you but after Pumpkin left us in September we got another kitty, Farley, in October.  We didn't plan to get another kitty so soon but the way things happened we think Pumpkin led us to him.  We got him from the local animal shelter, he had been there 2 months but now has his "forever home".  I still cry over my Pumpkin, Patches, Taffy and Angel...each one is so special in their own way.  I hope you are doing well.  Hugs and xoxo Joy :)
