I know your pain how it is to see your beloved pet fail before your very eyes, my flapper had testical cancer and given two months to live and he hung on for mama for one year I know the feeling of waking up to them looking at you flapper was good at that.  We will have a hole in our hearts where they left their pawprints

Hi again Claudia. Thank you for visiting Joy's memorial and leaving such a kind message. I had to visit your site for Otis. What a handsome big boy!! I have a soft spot in my heart for the BIG puppies! He reminds me of Joy with the gray on his face. So handsome he is. His memorial is wonderful. You really put alot of love into it. I have the same feelngs as you when it comes to this memorial site. Have you ever seen anything so wonderful?? The kindness on here is unbelievable. I am so sorry your last day with Otis was so hard. I was a vet tech at a local clinic before staying home with my little girl and I hate to hear when people have such a bad experience. And I know how hard it is to hear the euthanazia speech. I just hope you have the comfort of knowing that Otis is pain free now and playing like a pup!! As for the horses- my husband was putting hay in to ours today and our young filly got separated from her momma on the other side of our fence and she tried to go over it. I'm telling you......you just never know. Do you do any trail riding with your horses? That is what we do. When we get the time!!

I hope you are starting to heal after losing Otis. I still miss Joy so bad some times. I wonder if it gets any easier. I had Bear since I was 13 and Joy since I was 18. This is the first time in my life I can remember not having a dog. And it is lonely. To me horses and dogs go hand in hand. Thank you again for your kind words. Take care.

It's been so long since I've been here my sweet big boy. I love you and I miss you everyday. I wish you were here right now so I could lie down and put my head on you and cry on your shoulder. Please go and see Baby Blue, he's there now. Introduce yourself, let him know you are part of our family. If you haven't already. He's just a baby, and it will do him good to know you are there. Yall never got to meet while you were here. He was born a few months after you left. He helped me through it. Taking care of him and his mom, watching him grow. hi Otis, my big sweet boy. I had to stay away yesterday and stay busy, as I knew I'd be in for a very depressing day. You have officially been in heaven for a year now according to us people here on earth! I'm not sure how time works where you are, though you were never bothered with time anyway, except feeding time! Which you made your own rules there too. hmm. what a mischevious boy! I do miss you so everyday still. I love to picture you walking around with Vegas and now sweet Luxor looking like big lion dogs, keeping an eye on things around there! Your sister Ericson I'm sure would have no part of it, she was so sweet and liked more human contact. I'm sure shes at the side of someone very special! I pray all this is true big guy.
