Good Morning Charles and kids. Thankyou for coffee and pumpkin scones. Yum! We are getting snow again today. We will soon be able to go sking down the streets and over all the hills  of snow that the plows have pushed up . Ha-Ha.

I can just see Cupcake and Xander hooked up to the plow. Ha-Ha.

Thank you for your entry in my dog Snickers' guestbook.   It really warmed my heart.  I read your Sammy's page.  What a beautiful, precious dog.  He must have meant the world to you. My Snickers did too.  He was six years old and died tragically this past Monday night after being hit by a car. I haven't stopped crying yet.  But there is some comfort in knowing that he shares a place in heaven with beautiful dogs like Sammy, Gabby and Bob M.  Best wishes to you. - Monika

Good Morning Charles and kids. Thankyou for stopping by and your kind words as always. All at Luke's shelter appreciate your postings and kindness.

Stopping by with some hot fresh coffee before i go out there and shovel my way out of the driveway.We got another eight inches of snow dumped on us last night but at least its not too cold out there. I think I will hook Tyson and Samantha up to the snow scoop and let them clean out the shelter parking lot. Ha-Ha. Maybe that would burn  some energy off of the both of them. Come to think of it , i have three more shelter kids that need some energy burnt off also. Ha-Ha.

Hello Sammy, Gabby and little Bob.  Sammy, I saw a handsome boy that reminded me so much of you over the weekend. He was at the dog park where i took Tyson and Toby. He was a pb and his name was Harley.  A handsome and very obedient boy, just like you.

I hope you made it though the holidays alright and that the New Year has started out well for you. We got a bit of snow last night so we took a walk this morning before dawn. The kids had a ball and I had joyful memories of how much Princess loved the snow. It is raining now so it will all just be a muddy mess soon but for a brief moment it was peaceful, and wonderful. Hi Charles and kids. I hope all is well out your way. I have finally finished painting the upper level,so am happy that is done. Now its back to spoiling the furbabies at the shelter.Although i did go to the shelter daily while i was painting, i left earlier so that i could do some painting in the evenings. It has been cold so the babies did not want to spend much time outdoors which worked out good for me. It's suppose to be warming up here tomorrow so i guess they will want to spend more time playing outdoors. Its back to bundeling up and supervising play time for me.

Good Morning Dear Bob and Sweet, precious Sammy, and the rest of the kids.  Hope it is not freezing there again today.  It was 31 degrees here all night long, the house stayed nice and warm, I did have to get up and turn the Amish heaters off because it got too warm.  Of course it was 62 in the house this morning so they are both on high.  That is the only heat that Iuse.  The electricity is not much to run them.  I have a wood heater but do not want to light it unless the electricity goes out.  Hope you are well and warm and having a great New Year, I can't believe it is already January 10th.  Time flies sometime.  Stay warm.  Love Ruth and Angel Sparkman    Thanks so much for being such a dear friend, we love our friends on Critters and DS

Good Morning Charles and kids. Thankyou for stopping by and sending banana bread and coffee yum!!  Thankyou for your kindness as always. I finally got my computer hooked up again as i had everything unhooked and moved out of the computer room while i was painting it. Although it was only unhooked for a day and a half, i sure missed it. One doesn't realize how much they count on the computer. When i wanted to check the weather forcast, i forgot that i can get that on the tv as well as the radio as i always use the computer for that.  Ha....I am happy you have your pipes fixed now and hope they stay that way. I am sure Sammy watched over all and continues to do so.

I just have the kitchen left to paint on the main floor and then i will be done one floor. I will start the lower level after a break. It has been cold and windy here also. Of course the furbabies don't want to spend much time outdoors so i thought i would get the indoor work done before spring as then they all want to be outside and need to be supervised.

we wanted to stop by and say what a beautiful memorial to your handsome Sammy.  It is amazing how they can bring such love into our hearts and the memories that they leave behind.  my Missy Bear was the love of my life and when she had to leave my arms, that was the hardest time in my life but when my handsome Buddy Boy came into my life, he helped me heal and opened up my heart to love again.   It is great to see how much you loved your sweet angel Sammy as he was and still is a handsome boy.  ~blowing kisses to Handsome Sammy~

We know our fur kids at Rainbow Bridge will have a grand new year, all playing and having fun while they wait for us to join them one day.

I have invited some volunteer kids to come to the shelter grounds for a  day of tobogganing, drinking hot chocolate and of course playing with the fur kids. It is a beautiful sunny day here today and we certainly have had enough snow for many toboggan slides. All in All it should be a great day.
