Hi Charles, Sammy, Gabby, Bob m, and of course Cupcake and Xander. Thankyou for coffee this morning. Much appreciated!!! I have another week of long hours ahead of me but well worth the time."smile". Yes I imagine sweet Cupcake would have been thinking of Bob M when she saw that kitty.

Talk about weeds. After a good rain fall, I don't know where they all came from but they sure came up in my rock gardens at home. Thank goodness I have a sweet lady next door who looks after my flowers, etc. as she loves doing that and certainly helps me out as I could never find the time to do that as of late. She lost two of her kitties who were 17 and 18 years old last year and has now adopted two kittens from the shelter. They helped fill the void she was feeling after losing her two after having them for so long.

The two new kids are doing great and of course Samantha is their baby sitter. Ha-Ha. I have not heard anything from anyone about them so I guess they will be going up for adoption soon. I have had a nice couple wanting to adopt the two of them together but I had to wait and see if anyone was going to claim them. I will give it another week or so and call them to see if they are still interested. If they are we will begin obedience classes with them before I will adopt them out. So far the obedience classes are making a difference as I have not had any kids come back with the lame excuse from the adopted parents of telling me they can;t keep them because they won't listen. Now all that are wanting to adopt have to agree to taking obedience classes with the dog that they want. So far ,so good. All is working out.

Sending hugs all around.

Lauvern and all at Luke's shelter.

P/S.. Doris, Lawrence and Kim say "Hello".

Hugs to you my friend.

Dear Charles, Sammy, Gabby, Bob M, Cupcake and Xander,

Thank you for stopping in. After our brief vacation my husband and I had a grueling 3 days of hard work (mostly physical) and now...can breathe a sigh of relief. Unfortunately I am not in the best of condition and I could not leave it all for my husband since it was my business we were working on. I think we need that vacation again!

Stacy's work is amazing and I cannot believe how quickly she works. I loved watching Sammy come to life again and anxiously await each new picture of Princess.

Like you, I think of my Princess every day. I am not sure what your situation was but Princess was definitely responsible for keeping me on earth as well. perhaps a topic of discussion should we ever meet!

I hope to get more infomation to you about dog food this week or next. Did you have a chance to look over what I sent? How is Cupcake doing?

Thank you (Princess and Sammy too) for your continuing friendship.

Dear Charles, Thank you so much for visiting Carly's memorial and for the kind words.  The last year of Sammy's life reminds me so much of Carly.  She had such a hard time getting up, walking around and going to the bathroom.  I helped her do everything, which was hard for her because she had always been such an independent girl.

Thank you again for your kind words.  I hope Carly finds Sammy, Gabby and Bob M at the rainbow bridge.

The two new kids are doing great under the supervision of Samantha of course. Ha-Ha. I hope your weather is not too hot. It is cooling down here in the evenings especially which I like.We now need some rain but it looks like we will get some this weekend.

Wishing you a grand weekend with precious Cupcake and Xander.

Sending hugs all around.

Good Morning Charles and family,

What a lovely surprise to come home to your GB post. We had a wonderful, though short trip and have come home to happy and healthy kids. The weather was perfect during our stay and we had lovely walks and lots of rest. Now the work has piled up and I will have to get back to it.

Princess is now public again and I hope she will be without incident. I had hoped to connect with Corrie or even Lauvern but I found out they are both much farther west. Maybe another time.

I hope you, Xander and Cupcake are well and that the weather has improved for you. I cannot wait to see how you like Sammy's cross stictch and I am watching with glee as Princess comes to life again!

Thank you again for your continuing freindship through our dear children.

Hi Charles, Sammy, Gabby and little Bob m. and of course Cupcake and Xander. Thankyou so much for all of your kind posts, coffee and treats Too. I am so sorry I am late in replying but as you know, i have been quite busy catching up with things around the shelter. Always know that my friends here at Critters are never far from my thoughts, even if I don't get a chance to post as often as I would like. Thankyou for reading and your compliment on my new page. It does come straight from the heart.

I am happy to hear that you are now able to enjoy the outdoors without all that smoke around. I am sure Cupcake and Xander are enjoying the outdoors as well.

The two  new furkids are doing great. It almost seems like they knew each other before and maybe were dropped off at the same time as they seem to stay together. I have not heard from anyone looking for them  as of yet even though I posted signs everywhere . Which is fine as they are well looked after and get along with all the others at the shelter.Of course Samantha is right along side of them always. She takes them out on runs and shows them the property . Ha-Ha. Of course she always comes when she is called and they follow her.

I am now instructing 6 to 8 classes daily which keeps me busy but I love doing it as it certainly makes a difference in the obedience of the fur kids which makes me feel good about what I do.

I hope all is well out your way. we are still getting  a few of the extreme hot and humid days but are getting breaks in between them which makes it great,

Sending hugs all around as Always.

Hi Charles...
I wanted to stop by to say "hi" and let you know I was thinking of you and "the kids".  I hope your wildfires have finally died down.  I am surprised wildfires have not been a real big problem yet in my area this summer, as they usually are, especially with all the tourists who come here (as they can often add to the problem).  I'm sure it has probably been unbearably hot out in your neck of the woods like it is most everywhere else.  It sure has been oppressively hot and humid here this summer.  My poor dog, Teddy, would probably love to go for a walk, but it has been way too hot for both of us to do that.  I cannot even leave him out in his fenced play yard for very long for fear that he might overheat.  Anyway, I hope you, Cupcake, & Xander have a wonderful and relaxing weekend.  Stay Cool.  Best wishes always.

Hi Charles and Fur kids. I see I received all of your posts for August, this morning. i guess they must have went to review. Thankyou for stopping by with coffee and treats. This week has been hectic as I try to catch up with things. There are times I have forgotten to take a coffee break.  Ha-Ha. Its a good thing I love doing what I do and can only hope that I am making a difference.

The two new boys are doing great and yes Samantha is right in there showing them the ropes"good and bad" Ha-Ha. They certainly were hungry kids when they first came here BUT that is all behind them now. They already know where to go to get their treats as well as their meals. I think Samantha showed them the treat cupboard. Ha-Ha. They both have such a nice personality, I don't know why anyone would not want them. I am now advertising wherever I can to see if anyone will claim them but I have my doubts as no one called the humane society looking for them which is the normal place to call if someone loses a pet or finds one . Anyway they are safe and definately not hungry and maybe even getting a bit spoiled so all is good. Ha-Ha. They have been checked by the vet.The boxer had a bit of a rash on his ears but nothing serious. It looks like mosquito bites and because he was no doubt scrathing his ears, they have become infected. He is on antibiotics now.

Have a good day and thankyou again for all of your kind posts.

Sending hugs all around .

Lauvern and all at Luke's shelter "including the two knew kids which i have not named yet as I don't want to confuse them in case that the owners do come forward and claim them"

Wishing my wonderful friends Charles, Sammy, Gabby, Bob M, Xander and Cupcake a beautiful day!

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us. I am saddened by the fact I cannot receive posts. Only 3 critters "friends" wanted the password which is okay but I am sorry I cannot hear from potential new freinds when I post on their sepcial days.  I will make Princess public again when we return from our trip and hope for the best. I  am so looking forward to the break though I will miss the kids.

Charles, I know exactly what you mean about the bills. After Kit's trip to the emergency clinic 10 days ago, he had his regular checkup yesterday. What a relief that there were no surprises there! No matter, Kit and Bailey are my kids and my kids get what they need when they need it! Makes me sad to think of the many out there who do not even get the love and affectuon they deserve let alone the food and medical care. They vet said Kit was the most fit golden she had ever seen. I do watch their weight carefully and of course, they eat the best I can find.  Sometimes my hubby envies what they have in their dinner bowls

Thank yo again for stopping by.(((())))

Dear Charles and famly,

Wishing you the joys of a new week AND a new month! I hope it brings better weather and times for you and the kids.  We will take a short break the end of the week to travel to Canada for a few days for my husbands birthday. We are working very hard this summert and will enjoy the short respite.  The kids will be happy with their regular live in caretaker who always takes them out into the forest or to the beach. I am never truly relaxed without them with me but I know they are at home and have good care. Next winter wil be their vacation again in the San Juans.

As always, I think of you and your family of furbabies past and present.
