Hi Charles and kids. Thankyou for stopping by and for the coffee and rolls. I certainly need alot of coffee as i have been getting up at 4:00 Am. All is well here . Samantha has been enjoying her car rides and coming home with me. Of course she is getting a bit spoiled but that is ok. Her and Tyson just have a grand time chasing each other around the house and yard. They are both full of energy and have to wear it off somehow. Ha-Ha. Toby "my Bulldog" does join them but can't stay with them. Ha-Ha.
Have a good day.
Sending hugs all around.

Dear Charles, thank you so much for stopping by my beautiful Angel Keri Leigh's memorial site...I just read your lovely story of your precious Sammy, and I am so glad he was there to meet my little Keri, along with your Gabby and Bob M, too. Thank you so much for your kind words and prayers and thoughts. This has been so incredibly hard--it seems like the pain will never end, and that it just happened, and yet it seems like she's been gone forever from me...Please stop by again sometime...
Hugs, my friend,

I am truely sorry for the loss of your precious Sammy. I just lost my 15 year old fur baby on September 9 when I had to send him to rainbow bridge. His name was PIcky.
Picky and I spent every singl moment together, both sleeping and awake. You see, I am terminal and bedbound and Picky was my lap dog. It was as if he were my other half.
I've been noticing that the pain and grief is only growing more with passing time and I cant imagine the hurt any more worse than it is right now.
I'm sorry for your losss

Ahh, my first post went to review ... hummm....
Things in NYC are fine, a bit chilly though. Last night it was 21 2degrees out...burrr. I did go to the tree last week alone and took a few shots, but did so with my camera phone and they are a little shaky, think my hands wer cold. I posted them on F/B, my twin is coming in to town and we will be strolling 5th Ave so I will be sure to bring my camera and get a few nice shots to share. The girls, well they are not much for foot traffic, especially the little one, and they never go anyplace alone ... so carrying two will be a bit of a challenge for long distance (although one of my arms is getting stronger cause Lily is twice the size Luna was ... lol.
I remember her strolling 5th Ave with Lunam, I can picture it in my mind as if it were yesterday, her in her new silver and grey faux fur ... oh how everyone marveled at her, and I know it wasn't the coat, it was her presence and she sure dd command one. and forget ahead amongst the foot traffic, commanding a space of her own ... So I guess I'm going to save that picture for us, our spot for now ... I do realize when I think of her a subtle smile appears on my face and the love in my haert is still there forever growing ... one day!
Mighty cold this eyar and I found LIly and Opal new black faux fur coats too, also posted on F/B ... seems when I took Luna out it was just me and her, and when I take the girls out ... well, we all have to participate, and you know how that cam sometimes be.
Thinking of you and yours, knowing all the while when we think of them they know. ((Hugs)) Luna & her mom Nadine

Hi Charles, things in NYC are nice, dry and cold ... but as long as it's not freezing rain or slush puddles we're fine! Girls hate getting their feet frozen and wet.
Ahh, the tree, I posted a few shots on F/B, although it was windy it's a tiny bit fuzzy, or maybe it was my hand shaking (took it with my camera phone, have to go back and retake one with my camera) ... and that shot of me and LUna, we'll we're just going to call it our spot and I know when whenever I think of her she knows ... the love in myheart continues to grow. Plus one is easier to carry, pick em up and put them put them in your coat, but two is a little more difficult ... Lily is bigger and all those feet ... Little Luna was a trooper, didn't mind them at all ... walked the crouds on 5th Ave in her silver and grey faux fur mink ... she will always be the light in my eye and the warmth in my soul ... she will always be my little girl, and her love ... it surrounds me still.
Been pretty cold lately, think we got 21 degrees last night! Burrrr ... but I got LIly and Opal new coats this year, pics also posted on f/b. Take care and know when I think of my girl, I think of all her friends too.. ((Hugs)) Luna's mom Nadine

Dearest Michelle and precious Princess ... thank you for your visit. I, too, read about Ester. I was so saddened that her owners, though they could not afford her medical care, did not do anything for Ester. They could have "asked" for help and I am sure they would have gotten it quickly.
I too, hope that our God has a "place" for these individuals who torture and abuse these defenseless furkids as they did to Cupcake and Xander. I cannot understand these "vicious" people .. and they say Bullies are vicious ... Ha I say to them.
No need to apologize for "getting" all worked up .. as I do the same .. especially when it comes to furkids who need the care and love.
Sending you hugs and have a wonderful weekend.

Hi Charles, Sammy, Gabby and Mr. Bob,
Thanks so much for stopping by and thinking of us. When we were at Pasado we got to see Ester, the little pittie/boxer that fell off of a 12 foot wall and went untreated for weeks. Her front legs were bundled into casts but she wagged her tail at us and relished the kisses and pets she got. I can never ever understand the people who do things or allow things like this to happen to Ester or Destiny. I just hope God has a special place waiting for people who harm animals.
Sorry, got on my soapbox when all I wanted to do was thank your for checking in on us! It is rainy and cool here but we manage to get out for walks and of course, playing ball!

Dear Charles, Sammy, Gabby and Bob M
Thank you so much for visiting my Jaspers' site, it is really nice to hear from you. Merry Christmas to you all as well. I hope the season is treating you well. You mentioned the weather, well, I live south of Cleveland and we have be inundated with the white stuff. I don't think we have to worry about whether or not we are going to have a "White Christmas". I give thanks this season for you and all my new friends from this site. Without all the love and support, I don't know what I would do. It has helped me immensely and helps to know that there are so many people who love and welcome animals into their lives as I do. Jasper and I would like to wish you the best this holiday season and for the coming new year!

Good Morning Charles and kids. Thankyou for the coffee and Bizcochito cookies. We certainly need the coffee around here to keep us warm. It is suppose to warm up this weekend but we are suppose to get more snow. Oh well, the furbabies will enjoy the warmer weather as well as the new snow falling. We now have a huge hill for tobogganing but will soon be able to have mountains if the snow continues Ha Ha.
I have a busy week ahead of me as Granny is going to visit her daughter in the west coast. She certainly deserves a break after all she does for the shelter kids. Of course Samantha will be staying with me and coming home with me daily. She loves to go for car rides so she will get alot of them as it is about a hour's drive home from the shelter.
I hope all is well out your way. Have you gotten any snow yet? I will be happy when all the hussel and bussel of the holidays is over as traveling in the city and on the highways now is just a mess. Everyone is going someplace and shopping is almost impossible with the crowds. Anyway have a grand weekend.
Hello handsome Sammy, Gabby and little Bob......Sammy i keep waiting for some signs from you and Luke as to where there might be fur babies needing us. Although i hope there aren't any homeless but especially at this time of year, i worry about the ones that might be. I always count on you and Luke.
Sending hugs all around with fresh hot coffee and homemade Danish.
Lauvern and all at the shelter.

Dear Charles, it is COLD here. Got down to 20. When I lived in Pilar, it would get down to 18-20 below. You should have seen the "Fab Four" run up those stairs ahead of me and run crouch by the wood stove..waiting for me to get the fire going!! I don't like heat in the bedroom so they had been under blankets all night and ready for seeing the flame through the glass door when we got up. J.J. slept under the covers and one morning Henrietta jumped up on the bed and landed on him. The only time I had heard more "small dog snarling" was when the raccoon upended him on the back brickway.

Walkin in a Doggie Wonderland
Dog tags ring, are you listenin'?
In the lane, snow is glistenin'.
It's yellow, NOT white I've been there tonight,
Marking up my winter wonderland.
Smell that tree? That's my fragrance.
It's a sign for wandering vagrants;
"Avoid where I pee, it's MY pro-per-ty!
Marked up as my winter wonderland."
In the meadow dad will build a snowman,
following the classical design.
Then I'll lift my leg and let it go Man,
So all the world will know that it's mine-mine-mine!
Straight from me to the fence post,
flows my natural incense boast;
"Stay off my TURF, this small piece of earth,
I marked it as my winter wonderland."

Good Morning Charles and kids. Thankyou for stopping by and your kind words as always. We are all here so Kim, Gran, and Lawrence all say Hello and also thankyou for your kindness always. I hope you had a grand weekend with Cupcake and Xander.
The snow has finally stopped here and now it is time for cleanup and WOW have the snow clearing crews got alot of work ahead of them. Everyone has been busy cleaning the snow out of yards, shopping malls, streets and highways.I think we have already had more snow then we had altogether last winter but it is not as cold as it was last year at this time.
Lawrence has brought his front end loader here and is cleaning up the shelter grounds and pushing all the snow to make a hill for a toboggan slide for the kids that volunteer here on the weekends. It took him till late January, last year to get enough snow to make a nice slide as there wasn't enough snow but there will be a nice big hill when he is finished this time. I might even go tobogganing with the kids. Ha-Ha.
Hello Sammy, Gabby and little Bob..... Sammy, i know you are helping Luke and watching over furbabies that might be lost in all this snow as this is the kind of weather i found Samantha in. Although she loves to play in the snow now but she knows she has a warm place to come into and warm up now.
Sending hugs all around.
Lauvern and all at the shelter.

Thank you so much for your words from the heart. Sincerely, Carol

Hi Charles and fur kids... thanks for your visit. All is well here, but we are keeping very busy with work and doing some upgrades on the house on top of everything else! Juji is being a wonderful sport about it all and keeping smiles on our faces when it gets tough, she's always there to give kisses! Anyway, we are getting cold weather as well, and might even get snow tonight, at least that is the forecast. Hope you and the fur kids are great. Take care.

Hi there - thank you for stopping by Rosie's memorial and your kind words. My heart is still breaking at the loss of my girl but I'm glad your Sammy would be there to help her into the Bridge and keep her company. She loved to run and play and Sammy looks like he would take care of her.
