Sammy, on your Angel Day, we’re thinking of you and your dad.
There are no words to tell your heart when it misses your someone so deeply. As the tears fill in your eyes the longing to hold them fills your heart  …. But take a deep breath, close your eyes and breathe, they are near!
Luna holds up a huge flashlight and point it at the sky, looks over at Sammy and says, “Do you think this is bright enough?” He mutters, shakes his head and smiles … “Oh Luna, you know WE’RE bright enough!” …  with that all the bridge kids  hold hands and MAKE A CIRCLE, they each take a deep breath, gather their thoughts and  blow their everlasting loves to the wind toward Sammy dad who longs to hold him … then Sammy peeks open with one eye open then nudges Luke, “Do you think he felt us?” Luke smiles and politely nods. Then he looks at Dale, who is ever so busy shaking his head and barking and wagging his tail, seems he has lots to tell you. Then Butler turns her head left and opens one eye which is not covered by an her pirates eye patch and snickers, then closes both tightly and sends her wishes through the air like a BLAST! “KaBOOOMMMMM!” like a canon was fired! She snickers … “where there is love there is fire!”  Sammy jumps up, gets so excited and leans over toward Gabby and Bob M and they embrace … when love touches the heart the only place for it to go is GROW!
Look inside, close your eyes and feel them within your heart … then tonight look at the stars and watch them dance … know they are happy, they have you and your love and they  watch over you still. In your times of sorrow know it is then that they sit beside you.
Sending sweet thoughts, fond memories and never ending dreams, Luna & her mom Nadine

Dear Handsome boy Sammy......I stop by today to remember and honor you on your 6th. year Angelversary. Six years ago today, you had to leave your Dad's side to go to Rainbow Bridge. Although it shattered your Dad's heart,he knows you will always live on in his heart. You are so loved and missed handsome boy. Stay close to your Dad today and always let him know you are near. You have the Best Dad ever but I know you already know that..

Dear Charles.... I know today will be a day of mixed emotions but I wish you a day filled with only the happy memories that I know you have of your Sammy. "Fifteen years of happy memories"... Sammy lives on in your heart... just like the paw prints he has left there. I know Luke and all my fur kids at the Bridge will be with him along with all his many other friends to celebrate his day with him as he continues to watch over you, Cupcake, Xander and Bentley.

Sammy, we honor and celebrate your life here on earth today.

Sammy & Charles,

Well, guys, I have to apologize once again.  My angle day tributes to you continue to go to the horrible Critters reivew.

Sammy, you know, because your Dad Charles carries you with him at all times, always that you are loved and honored, in ways large and small, every day.  I also know that like your Dad, you have made countless friends up at Rainbow Bridge, and that you continue to comfort and protect Gabby and Bob M, as all three of you watch over Charles and family.

On this, your solemn 6 year angel day, know, Sammy, that the life and love you and your Dad, and family, share, is and will always be an important part of the fabric that holds the Critter's family together.

Bless guardian anglels Sammy, Gabby and Bob M; Dad Charles and family, beloved Cupcake, Xander and Bentley, and your family of souls and angels, today and always.

Peace & Love,

Bruce & Cinnamon

Dear Charles and handsome Sammy,

With all that has happened over the past few weeks I know that this day will bring many emotions both good and bittersweet.  I know Sammy will be doing his best to send some of his love to you so listen, feel and look for signs.  I still marvel at how our furry kids worked their magic and brought so many of us together after they crossed the Rainbow Bridge. What a loving and lasting gift.

I hope that today you have a chance to spend some extra time with Cupcake, Xander and Bentley and that you relate to them what a special and loving boy came before them and looks after all of you from afar. I send BIG HUGS today of all days and wish you a day of reflective peace and good memories.

Sammy & Charles,

I wrote a long angel day message to you this morning, my wonderful friends, but it went to the Critters reivew!

I will check in a couple of times, and try again if it doesn't show up by Monday monring.

As you know, neither Cinnamon or I could ever foret the angel day of one of her forever angel friends like you, dear Sammy.

Sammy & Family,

Oh, Sammy, sometimes I think you angels control the universe, but then I know that if that were the case, as devoted as you and your angel pals are, you would find a way to stay here with us forever.

Amazing the connection we have, forever, with our beloved angels, Charles, and as a result of that common bond, I have been privileged to meet and get to know generous and kind people like you.  And I am better for it.

I continue to be overwhelmed at times, Sammy, by the ongoing love, tenderness and caring your Dad Charles shares with you, but then my little one, Cinnamon, reminds me that the power of the love, devotion and memories you all leave behind for your family, stays with us, and in fact, continues to grow, forever.

Sammy, on the eve of your 6 year angel day, I am stopping by to pay my respects, and to honor your kindly, brave and loving heart, and your oh so beautiful and generous soul, and to celebrate, again, your amazing spirit and life, and the connection and profound love you share, every day, with your Dad Charles and family.

I know, Charles, that your beautiful angels live with and share their love with you every day. And that's exactly the best place for them, always.  I'm sure your precious Sammy, Gabby and Bob M let your aunt Edna know that everything would be ok, and that they would continue to wait by the Rainbow Bridge until you can all be together.

Bless amazing angels Sammy, Gabby & Bob M; Charles and family, and beloved Xander, Cupcake and Bentley. and your shared family of angels and souls, today and always.

Cinnamon & Bruce

Dear Charles and clan!

Thank you for your personal notes and guestbook posts for Princess's 7th angel day. WIth all that has been happening in my life it is makes for an emotional roller coaster, which I am sure you understand all too well.

I am doing my best to keep moving forward and to get back on track. Kit and Bailey are none too subtle in their requests for walk, treats and attention so I cannot stay in bed with my head under the covers for long.  On the sunny but cool days it is easier to get up and get going than on the gray and rainy ones that is for sure.

I hope your own heart is beginning to heal from your great loss. I grieve with you. Take care and thank you so much for being here for us. ((()))

Have not been @ Critters too much. The sadness of the loss of my mother and Lizzie @ the same time was terrible but we all do survive and we learn how to move on. Also, the care and training of a new puppy on top of a new baby grandaughter.......

Anyway, while @ Critters and trying to "catch up" I noticed that your lovely Aunt had passed away. I am so sorry to hear that Charles as I know you loved her very much.

Also here a bit early to honor Sammy on Angelversary # 6. I know he will always be with you in his memory and spirit.

Take care, Charles,

♥Maddie&Lizzies mom, Sherri

Dear Charles, handsome Sammy, Gabby and little Bob M.......Cupcake, Xander and Bentley.

I wanted to Thank you for your visits and kind posts as I am able to get onto the site today....... I had a laugh at Bentley and the "peeps" as Luke had done the same thing when he was with me... I had just bought a couple of packages and  placed them on the counter as I was putting away the other groceries, although I did see him looking in the grocery bags to see if I might have bought him something ,as he always did, I did not notice him grab a package of peeps off of the counter.I did notice that he left the kitchen but didn't think anything of it. He took the peeps and went into the living room ,opened the package and was eating  the last one before I caught him. HaHa.When I walked into the living room to see where he was ,he had pink sugar all over his mouth as well as the carpet and there was the package opened very carefully. HaHa. Although he didn't get sick, he didn't want to eat for the rest of the day.I was worried about him all night as I know thats alot of sugar but in the morning he seemed fine and when he had his breakfast, I knew he was ok. Needless to say, there were no more "peeps" left where he could reach them. HaHa.

We have to watch both Samantha and Tyson over at Granny's as they both keep a eye on the cookies that she bakes and has on the counter until they cool off at least. The two of them can smell them and keep a very watchful eye to see if they can sneak one or more. HaHa.

What these furkids wouldn't do! HaHa.

Have  a good day.

Sending Hugs through the miles.

Lauvern and all at Luke's shelter.

Charles, Sammy, Gabby & Bob M,

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers, Charles.  I am sorry to say that I was not aware of the passing of your Aunt Edna.  I know you've spoken about her health issues before, but Critters has been so difficult to get into, and around, for so many weeks, I find most of my time spent trying to honor these amazing angel residents on the birthdays and angel days.

As I mentioned in a similar sense to Michelle regarding her father, Charles, your Aunt must has been a lovely and caring woman to have raised someone as generous and compassionate as you.

Let's hope whatever is causing Critters to be so unresponsive gets taken care of soon.  Keeping in touch with amazing people like you, Charles, and tending to the beautiful flock of angels that resides here at Critters, is part of my day every day.

Bless amazing angels Sammy, Gabby & Bob M; Charles and family, and your beloved Xander, Cupcake and Bentley.  Here's to a beautul spring 2014.

Peace & Love,

Cinnamon & Bruce

Dear Charles, Sammy, Bob M, Gabby, Cupcake, Xander and Bentley,

I hope you received my card and that you know I am keeping you close to my heart and in my thoughts. Sunday we hold a Celebration of my dad's life at the senior center where he made many friends and had good times. I will be remembering you and your Aunt while we are there.  It is amazing that I feel closer to people I have never met in person than to those I have and even family. Please take care Charles and know that I know and understand your loss. ((()))

Dear Charles, handsome Sammy, Gabby and little Bob M......Cupcake, Xander and Bentley.

Thank you for coffee and your kind posts as always. Granny's cinnamon rolls are just out of the oven so am sending a few to you to enjoy."smile."

I hope you are doing some better and are taking care of yourself after the  ordeal you have been through lately. Know that we all continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers for strenght to get you through this very sad time. I am sure your kids are keeping you occupied as well as busy when you get home from work.Coming home to three  loving fur kids certainly must brighten your days...I can just see the three wagging tails and all of them happy to see you.. They say a house is not a home without furkids and I certainly agree.

Yes we have been busy rounding up furbabies needing help finding furever homes as the last pet fare we held turned out real well . Most of the ones that have been here for a few months are pending adoption. We have had two classes with the pending owners and so far all is going well... Although it always saddens me to see them leave to their furever home " as i get attached to all that come here"  I know they will have a family to call their own and that will free up kennels  for more of them needing help.

Have a grand weekend and I hope that you can get rested up.

Sending Hugs across the miles.

Lauvern and all at Luke's shelter.

Dear Charles, Sammy, Bobby M, Gabby, Cupcake, Xander and Bentley,

You have all been on my mind and while I continue to be frustrated by the fact almost all of my posts go to review I will persist here on critters.  Spring is right around the corner and yesterday we enjoyed a lovely cool but bright and sunny day. Kit and Bailey rolled in the grass and soaked up the sun.  I hope you and the kids are well and that your aunt is holding her own. Hugs my friend.

03-04-2014 1:30 PM -- By: Luna,  From:

Luna looks at the field of dreams, lifts her head as a cool breeze passes, then she notices Sammy ... sitting under the shade of the oak tree, nested in a soft patch of grass ... "dreaming" ... as thoughts of you fill his mind and his heart he whistles at the wind, sending a cool breeze flowing ... Have you felt it yet! Might nippy here in NY, we are in the teens again. Know our angels are all well, their hearts filled with our love, and even though we miss them thoughts of them can brighten up the darkest of days knowing they are there watching ...   just as the sun's warmth can be felt on the coldest of days ... Alive in our hearts they will always be, till we can each hold them in our arms again.

I know they fill your heart as thoughts of them are daily on your mind ... know they know and can feel it too. Our angels know ... you see they have always known the pathways to our heart, that's why they choose us.  Luna, her mom Nadine, Lily and Opal too! arf arf arf

Dear Charles. I hope things are going well your way and that your aunt is settled in. You are such a good nephew.

Timmee died on Valentine's day.He died snuggled in my arms. It was totally unexpected. He was 14.  I posted in the forums but it still hasn't been put least I can't find it. He was such a lover boy. I miss him horribly. I know that he was greated by Sammy, Gabby and BobM.

Take care, Charles and I'll try to be here more. xoxoxo Pat

Dear Charles, Sammy, Gabby, BobM, Cupcake, Xander and Bentley,

Thank you for your kind communications. It is friends like you who help make the transition from life with to without my dad. It is certainly a change. I hope your aunt is doing okay and that you are taking care of yourself too.

Kit and Bailey do not want to go out into the rain (we are due for a week of it) so I may need to get raincoats! Funny how swims are fine but baths or rain are absolutely not.

Thank you again for your freindship. It means the world to me.
