 Dear Critters Family,

Thank you for the visit to my baby girl's site.  It has been just one week since she went to the Rainbow Bridge.  You have created a beautiful tribute to your precious son.  May he continue to watch over you .

Peace and blessings,

Charles thank you for visiting with my babies. I appreciate the many times you have written and as with you it is all the memories that keep our babies alive in our hearts and knowing that some day we will see them again. I see you have a new boy and I hope Bentley is having a great time with his new family.

Dear Charles, handsome Sammy, Gabby, little Bob M,.......Cupcake,Xander and Bentley.

Thank you so much for your continued visits to my kids memorial and your kindness as always and Thank you for the message from Skye. I miss her here on Critters, as I do all the good friends I had made on here after losing Luke. But as you know, people change, life styles change,or they leave and go on their seperate ways and things are just not the same. I know I haven't been doing my part in visiting ,etc. for a few reasons either but I am trying. I truely appreciate those that stay in contact ,as you do, for which I Thank you so much.

The weather here has been nice and not so hot which I truely appreciate. We have all been spending alot of time outdoors. I am hopeing for a nice weekend as their is a Rodeo  and corn and apple festival going on about 50 miles from here which I would love to go to. I certainly missed going to the Calgary stampede this year as I have gone almost every year for many years now but hopefully next year.

We will keep Cupcake in our thoughts and prayers and hope all reports are good from the vet tomorrow.

Sending hugs across the miles.

Lauvern ans all at Luke's shelter.

Dear Charles, Sammy, Bob M, Gabby, Xander, Cupcake and Bentley,

The summer is flying by. No need to every apologize for the time between posts or emails. I know that you have your hands full just like I do but we still keep each other close in thought and heart.

I do love getting guest book entries and am so glad at least a few of us continue to do so. Here is where my Princess introduced me to my new lifelong friends and here is where my heart remains.  If I miss posts on FB I do apologize so please do not think I do not care, especially about important events but I just cannot keep up!

I know your aunt greatly appreciates your ministrations and I completely understand how time consuming it can be. I travel often between my house and my dad's nursing home and before that to his house to make sure all is/was well.

Take care Charles and enjoy the days of summer before they disappear...

Hi Charles and fur kids! It was so nice to see your post and hope you are all doing very well!!  I don't get around as much on the site, but do keep all my critters friends in my thoughts. We have been doing good here, just dealing with smokey skies every so often, in our area of Southern Oregon, from the forest fires north of us. Hopefully they will be contained soon, as it can get very thick and makes it hard to be outside. Luckily we've had a few clear days, which has been wonderful!! Anyway, I hope Bentley is settling in well and that Cupcake and Xander love him. He is such a beautiful boy! Take care and hugs to you and all the fur kids!!

08-13-2013 12:52 PM -- By: Luna,  From:

Morning Charles, and kids ... I see the pack is growing

Luna, Sammy, Gabby and Bob M look on with a smile, then they each open a white sack they are holding, Luna puts her paw in and sprinkles out from fairy dust, then Sammy opens his ~ takes a huge breath and opens his and a rainbow appears, then Gabby lifts up her sack and shakes out sunshine, and when Bob M opens his you can feel their love surround you.

Wishing you a magical day filled with sunshine, happiness and rainbows. ((Hugs)) Luna & her mom Nadine, Lily and Opal too

Hi Charles:
Just wanted to take a rare moment to come onto Critters and thank you for the times that you have stopped by and offered your kind and supportive words since my illness began.  I have really appreciated it.  I would have thanked you sooner but I have been in and out of the hospital since shortly after my birthday in May, battling various complications.  But I did want you to know that your kindness and your visits to Molly's memorial have been very much appreciated.  I do hope that you and your furkids are doing well and that you  all have been enjoying a wonderful summer together.  I hope by now Cupcake is all healed up and back to her old self again.  Sending big hugs to you and to all your precious furbabies, both here and at the Rainbow Bridge.  Take Care.
P.S...Please let Lauvern know that she and her furkids have been in my thoughts as well.  Thanks.

Thank you for your kind words on the loss of my cat Milo. I can't believe I only had 9 short years with him. I wish I had more time. I bet he and Sammy are having so much fun over the Rainbow Bridge together. :-)

Thank you so much for reading Benny's tribute and signing my guest book.  It truly helps.  I also cried some tears as I read Sammy's tribute.  Thank you for saving him from certain death on that road!   Prayers and Angels wings, Paulette

Dear Charles, handsome Sammy, Gabby and little Bob M.......Cupcake, Xander and Bentley.

Thank you for visiting my furkids and your kindness as always. I am happy to hear that sweet Cupcake is able to play with her brothers as I am sure she felt bad that she couldn't. I do agree that she has to build up her muscle and get the strenght back in her leg. I hope that she doesn't play too rough and hurt it but I don't think she will. I think she will favor that leg until it gets back to normal and it will in time.

I do remember when my first bulldog "Dixie" had her ligament surgery  when she was only a year old and of coarse I was suppose to keep her confined for six weeks which turned out to be  only four weeks as when she went for her four week checkup, the vet said she was doing so well that I could start letting her play with Luke. under supervision. I was quite concerned as I knew them two played rough ,but  the vet said she will do only what she can, and if it hurts she will take it easy..I believe Luke knew she couldn't play rough as he didn't play rough as normal. He would always check on her and when he did run around the yard with her chasing him, I did see that he didn't run as fast as normal. I believe these furkids know more than we give them credit for.

Anyway I am sure Cupcake is well on her way to recovery and all will be just fine.

The weather here is nice and not too hot so the furkids have been spending their days outdoors. They all come in at meal time and want to go right back out again, which they do until bedtime. That of coarse is after they have a dish of icecream and a cookie and believe me ,it doesn't take any of them long to know they get a treat before bed and they don't let me forget either. HaHa. Doris has them all good and spoiled. HaHa.

Have a grand weekend and know we are all thinking of sweet Cupcake and knowing all will be just fine.

Sending hugs across the miles.

Lauvern and all at Luke's shelter.

Good Friday Morning Charles, handsome Sammy, Gabby and little Bob M.......Cupcake, Xander and Bentley.

Just stopping by to wish you a grand weekend and Thank you for your kind post and compliment on Luke's picture. ....Our weather is suppose to be nice this weekend, so I know the furkids will all enjoy the days outdoors. We have had so many rainy days that they mostly had to spend their days indoors and have been getting bored. Although a few of them "including Tyson and Samantha"don't mind the rain, I bring them all in when it is lightning out there. I don't have to convince them when it thunders as they come in at a great speed on their own. HaHa. I think Tyson and Samantha would come in right through the door if I didn't have it open. HaHa.

Well  I have to go and feed everyone their breakfast and then let them outside to enjoy the day and get our day going.

Have a grand weekend !Sending hugs across the miles.

Good Morning Charles,

As Luna looks on from her fluffy white cloud, she signals to Sammy, Gabby and Bob M.,  they begin to lower the rainbow, ha-ha-ha ... YES, but it's true, the reflective love from within our heart radiates in everything we do, it shows on the outside too! Luna smiles and says’, “when you think of us we know, and we GLOW!”  … Forever and always they will be a part of us.
Sending our love and many tiny hugs, Luna & her mom Nadine(Lily and Opal too)

Dear Charles, Cupcake, Xander, Bentley, Sammy, Gabby and Bob M,

I will forever be greatful and always amazed that my girl and your boy connected us from beyond. Sadly, it seems the people who are geographically closer to me do not have the same connection to their furbabies that you, Lauvern and only a few others and I have. I feel sorry for those people who have not experienced the most pure form of love there is as expressed by our four footed companions.

Thank you, thank you for keeping me up to date on how well your family is doing. Hugs my friend.

Charles, Sammy, Gabby & Bob M,

Just read the great news about Bently on the forum page, congratulations!  I know that your Xander, Cupcake and now Bentley realize and appreciate that they have the best Dad in the world.

Bless your beloved angels, Charles, your babies Xander, Cupcake and Bentley, and you for being such a genuine and compassionate soul to your friends here at Critters.

 Dear Charles and family,

What a wonderful new page for Bentley. He is quite the handsome boy and lucky too! I am glad to hear everyone is getting along too. It is always difficult when introducing a new furbaby. Congrats. Wishing Bentley a long life in the Padilla family.

Dear Charles, handsome Sammy,Gabby and little Bob M.

Thank you for stopping by with birthday wishes for Kc and JoJo.Your visits and kind posts are always appreciated by me.

I just looked at your new page of your kids. I have to say, all three of them are so precious and if I may say they look as if they are spoiled.HaHa... I know "spoiled" furbabies when I see them as I have two of my own. HaHa. That's the way all furbabies should be is "spoiled"in my opinion."smile".

Thank you again and have a grand day.

Sending hugs across the miles.

Dear Charles, Sammy, Bob M, Cupcake, Xander and Bentley,

Thank you so much for visiting us. My father was as stubborn as your aunt when it came to moving from independence to assisted living. That generation is so strong and dealt with so much in their lifetimes that I do understand but their safety is important too. I wish you all the best in helping to care for her.

This weekend will be helping our son's best friend move across state. Moving is no fun but we are like his second family so we are glad to help.

It has been warmer than we like here but it should be cooling off over the next week. The plants require lots of watering and we take our walks early in the day to avoid the heat. Glad to hear you got some rain. I hope there are no more fires.  Take care. Hugs to one and all.

Good Morning Charles, handsome Sammy, Gabby and little Bob M.......Cupcake,Xander and Bentley. Thank you for visiting my kids memorial and your kind words as always. Your visits and continued friendship are much appreciated.

Things here have slowed down some as I do have a few empty kennels which is a good thing, but I know and wish it wasn't that way but when the colder weather comes,we will be filled to capacity and then some...Anyway we are going to the lake for a few days just for a getaway before Doris leaves on her vacation next week.

Tyson and Dozer love to go for boat rides BUT Dozer doesn't like to wear his life jacket which he must do or he doesn't go. He fights the jacket but when he gets on the boat he is fine. HaHa... How is sweet Cupcake doing? Do you still have her on a leash?

I see you have been getting some rain. You surely needed it. We have been having some hot, humid days here but we got a good rain last night so hopefully that will take some of the humidity away.

Have a good day.

Sending hugs across the miles.

Lauvern and all at Luke's shelter.

Charles, Sammy, Gabby & Bob M,

We read your message and are, of course, very sorry to hear about Mr. Bojangles.  In the end all you can do is try to love your canine and feline babies as much as they love you, and hope and pray that they are blessed with abundant good health.

Cinnie will be there for Mr. Bojangles today (Monday) on this solemn occassion,, and will visit with Sammy, Barry and Bob M afterward.

Bless you, Charles, and your babies, always.

Greetings my friends to the south,

A quick note to let you know we are often thinking of you. Summer is passing quickly and there is so much to do.

We attended the Evergreen Golden Retriever Rescue volunteer and rescue picnic last weekend. The group from which I adopted my "little man" Kit and through which I will foster if I am called. We had a fun time and both dogs took their turns on the Rally and Agility courses. Kit was a champ as he had never done either before and performed admirably. Bailey did Agility 6-7 years ago and remembered her moves getting cheers for her performance.

Hope you are all doing well and Cupcake is behaving herself after her last surgery. Better get back to work before I get farther behind. Hugs my friend.

Dear Charles, Sammy,Gabby and Bob M.......Cupcake, Xander and Bentley.

Thank you for visiting my furkids memorial pages and for your kind posts as always.I hope that your special day yesterday was fun as I am sure it was. The furkids will certainly enjoy having you home with them for a week. I am sure they will "help " you with all the work around the yard. "smile".

I am sorry that you have been getting ignorant people posting unkind posts on Sammy's memorial. It is sad that people such as those posting ignorant posts exist but they do.One day when they lose a family member either four legged or two legged, I hope that they remember the hurtful  posts that they have posted to people on a memorial site, who are already hurting. Anyway ignore them and maybe they will find somewhere else to go and play their hurtful games.

Enjoy your holidays next week and I know you mentioned having yard work to do ,I hope it isn't too hot to work. It has cooled down some here today but not cool enough for my likeing.

Thanks again for continuing to visit my furkids memorial."much appreciated".Sending Hugs across the miles.

Lauvern and all at Luke's shelter.
