12-22-2009 1:05 PM -- By: Kia and Deb, From: Hi Lea and Sally and Sandy just wanted to stip by with Holiday greetings and Best wishes for the New Year.......HUGS TO YOU.......Your present is not in a box
There's no paper, no ribbon, a paradox
My gift to you was not my life
It is the world so big and rife
Open your mind and you shall receive
The greatest gift that I could leave
I am not the bird, I am the flight
I am not the sun, I am the light
I am not the tear, I am the rain
I am not the harvest, I am the grain
I am not the flame, I am the glow
I'm not the river, I am the flow
I am not a smile, I am the bliss
I am not the touch, I am the kiss
I am not the moon, I am the night
I am not your eyes, I am your sight
On Christmas morn the gift is there
All you have to do is be aware

12-20-2009 1:49 AM -- By: pat, fayeroe and tippy, From: texas Lea, please forgive me for not being here as much as I could be. I've been super depressed and am slowly pulling out of it. I have a song for you tonight that an angel choir sang at The Bridge tonight.
It Came Upon A Midnight Clear
It came upon the midnight clear,
That glorious song of old,
From angels bending near the earth,
To touch their harps of gold:
"Peace on the earth, goodwill to men
From heavens all gracious King!"
The world in solemn stillness lay
To hear the angels sing.
Still through the cloven skies they come,
With peaceful wings unfurled;
And still their heavenly music floats
O'er all the weary world:
Above its sad and lowly plains
They bend on hovering wing,
And ever o'er its Babel sounds
The blessed angels sing.
O ye beneath life's crushing load,
Whose forms are bending low,
Who toil along the climbing way
With painful steps and slow;
Look now, for glad and golden hours
Come swiftly on the wing;
Oh rest beside the weary road
And hear the angels sing.
For lo! the days are hastening on,
By prophets seen of old,
When with the ever-circling years
Shall come the time foretold,
When the new heaven and earth shall own
The Prince of Peace, their King,
And the whole world send back the song
Which now the angels sing.ng of old,
From angels bending near the earth,
To touch their harps of gold:
"Peace on the earth, goodwill to men
From heavens all gracious King!"
The world in solemn stillness lay
To hear the angels sing.

11-26-2009 2:18 AM -- By: Michelle, From: As I count my blessing this Thanksgiving, toward the top of the list will be thanks for the wonderful and suppoprtive friends I have made as a result of a terrible event...the loss of one of my dearest friends, Princess. I do not find it hard to believe at all that she can continue to give to me from the world beyond as she was a very special girl. You lost your Sally a year before I lost my girl yet we do not forget them do we? And our friends help keep their memory alive too!
I have a special place in my heart for collies as my family raised them for years. As a grownup, I worked at a shelter where I did sheltie and collie rescue. No better a friend (well maybe a golden) either.
The friendship and support I have through my friends on critters has been such a blessing. At this special time of year I want to thank you and wish you and your family (two and four legged) all the best the season has to offer. HAPPY THANKSGIVING.

Stopping by to honor and remember precious Sally on her 3rd "Angel-versary". What a beautiful girl! And what a wonderful life she lived thanks to you and all the love you gave her! How lucky Sally was that fateful day at the shelter when you opened up your heart and chose her among all the others and gave her a second chance at a fresh new start and an amazing new life. Sally certainly was a very fortunate dog to have someone so special in her life who loved and cherished her so very much. What more could any dog ask for but to be so dearly loved and to be so well cared for? The years of love and joy you provided for Sally was the everlasting gift you gave to her that she will carry with her forever in her heart. May your beloved Sally spend today joyfully running and playing in beautiful sun-drenched meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge with all of her new friends... while the angels watch over her and blow her sweet kisses on the wind. :) And may the joyful memories of your sweet, precious Sally always bring you peace, comfort, and a smile to your face. My thoughts are with you today, and I wish you well.
SALLY --- We celebrate you today! :)

11-03-2009 9:48 AM -- By: Deb and Kia, From: Sally ... stopping by in remembrance of your Third-Year Angelversary.......Memories are like treasures
time cannot take away.
So may we be surrounded
by happy ones today.
May all the love and tenderness
of golden days and years well spent
Come back today to fill our hearts
with beauty and content.
And may we walk down memory lane
and meet the ones we love,
For while we cannot see them,
they'll be watching from above....
So, for their sakes, be happy
and show them that their love
Has proven strong enough and big enough
to reach down from above.

Chey is with Sally today, making sure she's not too sad. I know she misses you and loves you both so very much. Losing our babies is a pain I don't think we ever really get over. It may subside a bit, but it's always there. Sally is such a beautiful girl, what a smile!! Celebrate her time with you and remember, she's always in your heart. We love, love, love you!!
11-03-2009 12:53 AM -- By: Vicki, Misty Rose & Cuddles mom, From: Nebraska Hi Lea: I just stopped to remember Sally on her third year Angelversary.
I live among God's creatures now
In the heavens of your mind,
So do not grieve for me, my friend,
As I am with my kind.
My collar is a rainbow's hue,
My leash is a shooting star.
My boundaries are the Milky Way
Where I sparkle from afar.
There are no pens or kennels here
For I am not confined,
But I'm free to roam God's heavens
Among the Doggie kind.
I nap the day on a snowy cloud
Gentle breezes rocking me,
And dream the dreams of earthlings,
And how it used to be.
The trees are full of liver treats,
And tennis balls abound,
And milkbones line the walkways
Just waiting to be found.
There even is a ring set up,
The grass all lush and green;
And everyone who gaits around
Becomes the Best of Breed.
For we're all winners in this place;
We have no faults, you see.
And God passes out those ribbons
To each one, even me.
I drink from waters laced with gold,
My world a beauty to behold;
And wise old dogs do form my pride
To amble at my very side.
At night I sleep in angel's arms,
Her wings protecting me,
And moonbeams dance about us
As stardust falls on thee.
So when your life on Earth is spent
And you stand at Heaven's gate,
Have no fear of loneliness —
For here, you know, I wait.
