Warm thoughts headed your way. The birthday tribute is incredibly beautiful! All those little things that we miss so much now! I would give anything to have one more day too.

I KNOW that we form these special bonds of love for eternity. Puck will be waiting eagerly for you someday. These bonds of love are far too special not to endure forever and ever.

Lisa, my heart is breaking for you right now.  If I could, I would reach through the computer to give you a great big hug!  I know you think you are being selfish by wanting your Puck with you today (and every day), but you are not.  You just hurt very much right now because you love and miss him.  Even though he is no longer with you physically, he will always be with you, occupying a special place in your heart forever.

You are still counting each and every day Puck is away from you.  Perhaps that will change and fade with time.  Some people count days or weeks since their babies went to Heaven.  I didn't do that, I just hated every Wednesday that came.  Minnie passed away on the anniversary of when I started my job, so that will never be the same again either.  I wish I could tell you when you will begin to feel a little better, but as I am sure you already know, it is different for everyone.

After my mom died in 2002, I went to grief counseling for a while.  The best advice I received from the nuns was this (although I didn't like the advice, it was the truth):  in order to feel better at some point, you must experience every aspect of your grief.  You cannot avoid it or ignore it, you must travel through it to get to the other side.  As horrible as you feel today, I promise you it will get better.  Maybe not tomorrow or the next day, but one day, when you think of your Puck-Puck, instead of tears rolling down your face, you will smile instead.  Your heart will no longer ache but feel warm and fuzzy as you think of all of your wonderful memories you shared together for almost 16 years.  My hope for you is that you are able to do that soon.  Keep all of those wonderful memories of your baby close to your heart forever.

Happy 16th Birthday, little Puckeroo!  Your mommy and daddy will love and miss you forever.  I sincerely wish I would have met you before you went to Heaven, but I am happy that you and my Minnie are the bestest of friends.  I truly wish Heaven is exactly how we are imagining it to be because I will tell you a little secret--that is how I get through my days without crying.

Seems Puck and Heidi both liked the Schwan's man.  Our Schwan's man always gave Heidi a treat.  I am sure Puck and Heidi are looking after each other.  What a cutie Puck is.

Lisa, Puck's tribute is beautiful. His "golden birthday page" is incredible, and truly shows the volume of love you two share. I just know Puck is so very proud to have a mom like you. What a blessing we received when we were given our babies. They gave us the most incredible unconditional love we could ever ask for.
