hahahaha, mom hasn't baked in a while, although she carries your mom's pumpkin square recipie with her  ... humm, someday! We toured Midtown and went to the big M&M shop in Times Square and sampled all the treats till we waddled out of there ...  then we strolled over to the Marriott, no!  ... to ride in their elevators ... they are so cool. They are clear glass capsules with tiny lights, and they zoom up and down and you can see outside! MOm thinks they are Amazing!!! ... mom was always impressed with the simple things that made her happy ... and for your surprise Buddy, we took a evening helicopter ride over the Manhattan skyline, nothing like it in the world (mom has always wanted to go but has not as of yet!  ... then we strolled home, down my block once again, it felt sad but I was happy too, thatnks for joining me!!! it was good to be home. Do you know 5am this morning mom awoke to the sound of an alarm clock radio music, very light, she's a light sleeper and then she heard the jingle of a dogs collar ...  and thought it must have been Opal (cause she could see Lily sleeping) only a few hours later to realize Opal doesn't  wear a collar yet (she's too small) ... so it was me!  She hasn't heard a sound like that since I left to go to the bridge, When I left for the RB, she awoke one night at 5am to the sound of a dog bark, she got up and instaltly looked for me, then she turned her ehad left and Lily was asleep in her bed, I think it was within the first 2 months after I left ... I know how she misses me and the tears fall, she still wishes upon a star that she'll see me and be whole again, as hard as she tries the sadness is still there and look, now her tears are falling ... but I know it's because she misses me ... she so appreciates your friendship, more than you will ever know... ME TOO!  ... so your phone was in your coat? atleast you didn't lose it in your car ...  you are so silly, hanging in the closet, well atleast the battery kept warm! and 3 weeks is good. Here you usually get 1 week vacation after 6 months, and then when you complete a year you get 2 weeks vacation for the following year,  and then after 5 years maybe 3 if you're lucky ...  so 3 weeks sounds nice.

Luna opens her paw and he hands Buddy a crystal, not just any crystal, this is part of the crystal ball that fell this year ... a 2009 momento ... Luna sings again,  ... Mama said their will be days like this, their will  be days like this mama said ... Come on, we're off to Breakfast and Puckie ... I'm sure he will be missing us by now ... and they return back to the bridge with happiness in their hearts ... We Love You!!!  Luna

Sure Buddy Boo, Let's go eat some breakfast and find Puckie, I'm sure he didn't eat all the treats in his man-bag? No ... he couldn't???  I'm amazed he even got his man-bag closed  (Luna smiles) ...as Puck eneters Luna bounces off her chair and walks over to him ... "Hi Puckie", come on and sit with us, we're about to have breakfast ... er ... hummm, still have the treats, right? Puckie smiles, "Sure Luna, Sure!" as sits down he flips a silver dollar pancake and catches it in his muth ...Yummie! Then he juggles a few blueberries, gulp, gulp, gulp ... Buddy looks at him ... "amazing!". hahaha,  come on ... we're gonna visit NYC today!  Polly, mom was supose to go to work today, but when she looked at the clock and it was almost 10:51, she thought, NOT! hahaha. She went to walk Sandy instead,  the father did not have a good morning, after paying over $1200 to fix his truck (for the 2nd time) he had problems today as he'll have to dop it off and take the train home, Boy, getting stuck in Connecticut on a job stinks! BOY, I'm sure my sisters would love a visit from us, Luna smiles proudly, and w can all stop off at Central park and my favorite dog stores, (yup, they give out free treats all the time!!! and I'm sure it will make my mom happy too, she's been missing me...not to much snow here but we can take in the sights, EVERYONE MUST WEAR THEIR DOGGIE SHOES (Luna hands them out), and puts on a layer of Mushers on their toes (just in case), they all look at her, it's to prevent salt burn ... No worries I know mom will have a warm foot bath waiting for us before we go home 9LUna smiles)...I love you Mom, and you too Polly. Always, Luna & the gang

Good morning Miss Polly ... (Luna whispers as Miss Polly sleeps). She turns to Buddy, I don't have the heart to wake her, let's let your brothers out to ahem "relieve themselves",  and then we'll all snack on a few treats in the kitchen, then we can lie down next to your mom.  I'll nap by her feet to keep her warm,  Buddy you can lie next to her so she can feel your warmth ... Luna looks up and watches the snow begin to fall, she lifts her head up and smiles at Randy ... She snuggles back in bed watching the snow fall ... Humm, wonder if we'll see any snowdogs today? ... but we're sure to find a few snowmen!!! hahaha, or snow bunnies,  Maybe even a few snow angels ... but surely a "Snow Ball Fight!"  Maybe even a sleigh ride or we can go tubing ...  Burrr, Luna wraps herself in the blanket Polly has on her bed ... Boy mom got to work late this morning, 25 minutes ago, she found out when Sandy's  (Lily's sister's), didn't get a walk this morning (Fri is laundry day)  she was not happy ... the poor doggie doesn't go out enough, regularly ... anyway, she washed the dog's  bedding and brought it up stairs (she has keys), and Sandy was in the LR and ripped up both peepee pads and one paper towel? We'll mom gave her a hug, cleaned up the mess, set her up with new water(lint in water), put on her clothes and took her for a stroll around the block (not even one pee?) ...  She knows the dad tries, but his son needs to be more pro active and less on the computer games ... mom will explain in more detail. She called the dad and he said he changed the peepee pads at 7am, guess she was just board, restless,but she's very sweet with lots of curiosity and energy. Talk to you later!!! Nadine

BRRRRRRR!  my BFF  mom has no school.  lucie-llew wouldnt go potty outside this morning.  she is liking her MUTT-LUKS tho.  mom put papers down in my room for her.  Lucie-llew laid cable yesterday on the papers in my room....my mom was  glad she did.   Did you know my BFF my mom thinks i talk to lucie when she is not at home..?!  tee hee.....cause  last nite she drank a 1/2 cup of vanilla hot cocoa my mom stepped away for 30 seconds to get the phone....tee hee...she IS like me.....  she has a taste for coffee and odd flavours of latte and cocoa. (my mom really doesnt like or do chocolate - she is not much of a choco fan) but likes the vanilla and the flavoured coffee...yummmmmm i can just taste her blueberry coffee NOW....blueberry pancakes...ymmmmmm breakfast!

Hi Polly, I read your post below, they have such personalities don't they ... When it was time to go out and Luna saw rain at the front door, you couldn't pull her out , she would pull back wiggling  as to say, No, not me, you can't make me go out there ...  and then she would race upstairs and go pee pee and poopies on her weewee pad as to say, sure I'll do it, but not out there!  it's so strange the things we remember,  sometimes I can picture her right there in front of me, she her do exactly the things I remember, all of it, her ears going back, the way her head would tilt, that exact moment as if she was right there in front of me .... sometimes I cherish the memories, and sometimes they just make me cry because I miss her so.  Today is Thursday and the kids will be out your way to check on you, then tomorrow is Friday and Luna will do her happy Fri-Yay-Day dance for you ...Nadine

Hi Buddy, Yes ... Let's go tget breakfast! Warm, er Hot Cocoa with whipped cream and toast with butter, AND RASPBERRY JAM sounds wonderful.  Yup, it's been cold here too, expecting to get colder before the weeks end. Mom walked the girls around the block yesterday and before she was through she thought her fingers were going to fall off, they were pink and numb. Luna blows gentle breezes to her friend Miss Polly, I can't image how cold it is there, no school? and not because of the snow? Luna scratches her head. I remember when my mom said she traveled to school in 3 feet of snow, to find out most of the teachers didn't come in, hahaha,  they never closed school, now, 2 inches of snow and they do? and it's not like Westchester where they worry about the "black ice", ever hear of it, yes ... very dangerous. Her sister almost slid off a mountain because of it, a tow truck was called and tried to lift her (jeep out and nad to call for back-up, yes another tow truck because it too was sliding down the mountain ... that's the day my mom gave her her cell phone cause she didn't have one. (at the time she had a pay-as-you-go) and always replenished the minutes for her. Yup, my mom's twin sister. The party was great, the BBQ was terrific I can't thank you enough, and all the dancing, and the frosty drinks, the floats, the music, the smiles and the laughter ... thank you...Luna leans over and gives Buddy a special kiss and warm embrase. Love you, always, Luna

PS: You looked hot in your hawaiian shirt, trunks and sunglasses ... almost like a movie star!!! (Luna smiles and munches n her toast ... humm, good!) Hi Buddy, SURE!!! Sundogs, moon doggies, ... Luna spins and spins ... I lov ethem all. Nope, mom had to go to Brooklyn this morning to drop off one of her last gifts (in person), whew, one more to go! (she might mail it (hahaha), still searching for a warm coat for Lily, she decided although she really likes it it's just to small for her. (sticking a long girl in a shorter jacket looks like it's so small ... she already spoke to the store guy and will exchange it this week. She also ordered 3 coats from on-line shopping, trying to find one Lily will like and that is warm and comfrotable. If at the end of this week she doesn't find one, she'll hoping she does (cross fingers and toes) ... Opal went for her first walk on Sunday, and today, she likes to walk, and you should see her prance around in her shoes, cute!!!

LUna snuggles with her Buddy Boo and looks up into his eyes, did you save a cookie for me? She bats her eyes and Buddy reaches into his man bag and pulls out a pumpkin square and M&M cookie just for Luna and she smiles as she takes a bite! Thanks Buddy Boo, THANKS POLLY!!! Be sure to look for  some warm fuzzy socks on their way ... When you mom said -40 my moms knees started knocking ... so thoughts of you in the artic trundra were on her mind today ...  We lov eyou, Nadine & Luna, Lily & Opal

Hi Miss Polly, MORNING!!! Luna smiles, Mom watched a movie yesterday, "Mirrors" with keith sutherlin and it was scary ... Boohahwahhoooo! Then she carried lily home because she forgot her booties and the cold slush was, we'll too cold. Mom arms hurt todaself developing a popy and her top back, and she thinks she getting stronger muscle in her right arm by always picking up Lily  ... nt too noticeable but she can see herself developing a popeye arm.

Oh How cute, Lily is relaxing and Opal is on mom's lap as she is typing, and Opal looked at the keyboard and was trying to type too. Oops tuch the keys ... she wants to type bt she can see herpaws on the keyboard, was pressin on the space bar, ok, mom's gonna let her type ...ywaop, sthinks shxce gettingfnbccdeeeeeee  dnmdnds ... she likes the spa           & nbsp; c e bar. hahaha
