Hi Miss Polly!!! Yeah, It's Friday, Luna does her happy dance for Polly and Buddy, Puck & Little Bit join in ... Buddy sings, "it's a tripical heatwave", teehee ... Thanks for helping me with the covers Buddy, (Luna smiles) -18 wow!

Ok, I'll bite, what's a sundog??? It going to get cold tonight, about -20 (not sure with the wind factor) ... Luna stretched after Buddy helps her out of the covers and smiles, Yup, it's nice at the bridge!!!

I found Lily on top of my bed this morning, while I was puttin gclothes away she jumped up twice all by herself and it's a pretty high bed!!! I don't want her doing that because it's too high to jump off (appx 32" off the ground) let's put it this way, when I got it I hated it (still do), I can't tied my shoes when I sit on the bed ... hahaha. I was going to put steps but I'm not sure with Opal being so small, It's too high for her :)

Looking forard to the weekend, Opal gets to put her feet on the ground, should be interseting. This morning I let her toes touch the sidewalk and walk in front of our bldg and she liked it, all week we've been practicing walking to the elevator and getting on ... (sometimes pulling her on the elevator, the doors and sound frightened her), but she's now gettign excited about walking off. She'll be walking outside by Sunday, (Maybe Saturday if it's not too cold, or only for a little while), I have to make sure people don't step on her cause she's black and small.

... Polly, what happens after the snow?  Does there come a time the snow stops falling? Does it get so cold out that the snow flakes are frozen in the clouds and even the wind can't blow them loose? OMG, the frozen tundra!!!! Do the stars shine at night brightly or do they flash like headlights through the frost? Does you snow freeze like a rock or does it still remain light & fluffy? Hummm, come on ... "ROad TRip!" ... humm, still won't know what happens after the snow till after the snow ... ... like Peter Pan, think Happy thoughts, Polly, think warm thoughts, blow driers, warm breezes, cracklig fireplaces, do the pocket warmers work? PS: I saw in Home Depot something for yur shoes, they called them toe warmers and I forgot to look to see how long they last? ... Interested?

ahh Polly, a break, how nice!!! (Luna smiles) .. l we didn't get snow just rain, a cold drizzle ... Lily ran across the street to poop in the garage this morning, a drive in kind, underground parking ...  Luna always pooped there she HATED the rain. It's the only place to cop a sqwat without the cold wind from the water crawling up your butt. The buildings are a little shorter (only 6-7 stories on 49-50 Streets to the wind blows strong from 12th Ave (the water), and sometimes wow, a wind tunnel ... burrr! But I think it's still colder on the Eastside (The East River) ... Burrr, the wind would blow you away ...

Time for jackets Polly ... Jackets and Booties ... you should get them a warm sweatshirt or something ... Luna flips through the pages of a catalog ... hummm, I wonder what size would be good ... maybe you should bring them to the store, all at once like a petco and let them loose, hahaha. "Watch out, Doggies shopping"!

Hahaha, they would probably head right to the treats, but when ever you're in doubt buy 2 sizes, you can always return one! (Luna smiles) ... mom's going to talk with you ... Wish it was snowing, atleast when it's frozen you don't get all wet! I not to fond of the rain either, but enjoy watching a snow blizzard! hahaha, Buddy-Boo, let's take a trip and visit your mom ... SHE'S GOT SNOW ... and I Love the snow!!! YiPPIE!!!

Oh Buddy, I get caught in the blankets because it's so big and I like to snuggle and curl up in them ... then I get lost in it without end???  .. nothing to do with the fluff ... hahaha. Mom loved my hair, all shiney, fluffy and soft,  it bounced when I walked and because I was a Malripom it was long and has a little wave, she said I was perfect. (Luna smiles). SURE! Breakfast it is!!! (Luna dancing and trying to get out of her blanket) ... she stands up and shakes and the blanket falls to her side,  she steps out, ahhhh, Breakfast! I love you Buddy Boo. Hi Buddy Boo, thanks for the breakfast call ... YUMMIE!!! I love those blueberry pancakses, chrispy bacon and raspberry jam ... adn of course ... you too Polly! 

Thanks for listening, sometimes  my heart misses her so much, it's unending ...  I know she lives in my mind and heart forever, happy that she touched my life like no one else could have but her in her own way (Yes I smile when I think of her), and sad because I didn't get to do all the things I planned for us (unrest) ... my heart wants the day when I can hold her in my arm, love her like no one else ever could, and smile inside and feel all the inner warmth brought me, because she was my heart.

Lily is beginning to wake up a little, she is sweet and needs some TLC, I got her in my darkest hour when my heart was in so much pain, and now I have to work extra hard to help her so she will know she is special too, and I believe Opal will help. OUtside today I met our friends Rosco & Tempe (the 2 dogs I babysat for) in the courtyard and I put Opal down on the floor outsie for the first time and she played with them ... Lily sat around but then she started looking for affection too. I took Opal to the vet Sunday and she just got all her shots so by the weekend I'll let her loose on the world, see if she barks as much on the ground (hahaha), everything is safe in my arms. 

I woke up and my left hand middle finger is swolen and bruised, don't remember hitting it ... it's all dark pink? But I can bend it so it's not broken. I look forward to speaking with you later on, or over the weekend, stay safe my friend. Hugs always, Nadine, Luna, Lily and Opal

Hey Polly, I am also from MN. I was born in Dodge Center (many people don't kow where that is....LOL). It's about and hour or so south of Minneapolis. So, we have more in common than our marvelous angels (smile).

Although I've live in San Diego since 1980...I'm still not Californiaized. It's so funny here, cause when the temp "dips down to a freezing 55," ... LOL ... people have there big 'ol boots on and are all wrapped up like it's "zero". I hardly ever wear a coat, and of course all my Cali friends think I'm crazy. Love you Buddy boy!!! Hugs. Carole

hey buddy!  my TWIN BFF 4 EVER and EVER!  breakfast time.   my mom has to figure out how to copy pictures so she can make my friends at RB page.  she is not quite so sure how to do that.  lets go for breakfast.  what are booties?   i had sox .. size 0.  lucie-llew is wearing sox to.  where do you get little booties at?  hmmmm....mom used to fool me with the sox.......she would wrap my paws up in bandages then put sox on...then take bandages off...i liked bandages...so i liked the sox.  never wore booties tho.  waving to Polly!

Sure do like the booties, Luna smiles, my mom put lil lily's rainboots on my tiny little toes, I would lie on my back with my feet in the air till she slipped them on, they were like real shoes with tongues,  zipper and velcro around the elastic gathered ankle ... but I didn't like them, but she did get really good at putting them on ... (Luna looks at the red booties and smiles) ... I know I  would have liked those ... Thank you Miss Polly for always thinking about my mom, you're in her thoughts always too! Did you go to work today??? Luna looks through the clouds, humm, can't see you in the kitchen ... just look up and think about us, "we'll hear you!" Yes, mom's sister is coming with the kids today, haven't left yet still waiting for everyone to get up, she doesn't know if she's going to drive in or take the train ... she is always hit with lots of snow ... "but I'm sure you get more!"

PS: Mom loves the booties, any colors and sizes are fine, she has a few friends that would probably love them too, she liked the bright ones, cause on a black dog she can tell if they lost a bootie ... especially when Lily puts the brakes on ...teehee, mom doesn't understand her sometimes ... it's a walk, move the feet? hahaha. I alwyas walked in search of doggie and people frieinds, and most mornings for the second walk before work I would stretch to another block or so, that's how mom started getting to work late, she was late every day. hahaha ... but after a while they didn't expect her till 10:00-10:30 hahaha. Luna rests her head on her paws, sorry you were worried Polly, yup, electrical things worry me too, but if you shut the power to the box off no worries (Luna smiles), maybe too many circuits on one line ... they also have a power strip for that kind of stuff, when a short come sin it shuts off (the worry free box). Look you are up early, mom's going to clal you in a few), she's been up since 7am. No work today? Yippie, mom is taking off too, nothing to do there anyway ... (Luna sits and day dreams), yes I kno whow you feel Buddy, I miss my mom too, the touch of her hand, the warmth of her smile, but you know, I can feel her with me always, guess that's because she takes me where where she goes, always on her mind, alwyas in her heart!!! Humm, your mom is cooking again, Luna puts  her paws to her mouth ... "we'll be right over Miss Polly!" Luna jumps up and fold her big fluffy fleece blanket and places it on her bed next to her super soft fluffy pillow ... She looks over at Buddy's bed and notices he's nevr neat and she smiles ... I know my mom would love you!!! Come on, let's get some snacks for the road ...time for a road trip. "We're coming Polly, Watch out Jr. Benji and Buddy Jr, we're on our way ... (Luna laughs),  love teasing them ... and Polly thinks they are barking for treats ... Intruder alert!!! hahaha

PS: Mom loves the booties, easy to put on and  they stay on,  Lily likes them too ...much easier than her shoes!!!  Mom's going to call you.  It's COLD OUT today, she looked and al she cold see was frozen pee that formed ice pee-icicles. She also tried to remove a poop someone else left behind with her bag but it was frozen solid and wouldn't budge ... large load.  hahaha "thoughts of frozen poopies from a snow blower came to mind" tee-hee.  ... did you ever see "poop" fly...hahaha.
