05-25-2010 9:22 AM -- By: Tara and Girls, From: Hello Gina and Miss Saada, just thought I stop by as I have a minute, the girls are sleeping Thank god Miss Candy has a bit of a attitude problem and thinks she is in charge of this place,
I have taken a few days extra off from work, before we go to the sitters, hope all is well, not sure if you or Deb have this poem but it's a pretty one,
A shadow of joy flickered; it is me.
I told you I wouldn't leave..
My spirit is with you.
My memories, my thoughts are imbedded deep in your heart.
I still love you.
Do not for one moment think that you have been abandoned.
I am in the Light.
In the corner, in the hall, , the yard --
these are the places I stay with you.
My spirit rises every time you pray for me,
but my energy comes closer to you.
Love does not diminish, it grows stronger.
I am the feather that finds you in the yard,
the dimmed light that grows brighter in your mind,
I place our memories for you to see.
We lived in our special way,
a way that now has its focus changed.
I still crave your understanding and
long for the many words of prayer and good fortune for my soul.
I am in the Light.
As you struggle to adjust without me,
I watch silently.
Sometimes I summon up all the strength of my new world to make you notice me.
Impressed by your grief, I try to impress my love deeper into your
consciousness.
As you should, I call out to the Heavens for help.
You should know that the fountain of youth does exist.
My soul is now healthy.
Your love sends me new found energy.
I am adjusting to this new world.
I am with you and I am in the Light.
Please don't feel bad that you can't see me.
I am with you wherever you go.
I protect you, just as you protected me so many times.
Talk to me and somehow I will find a way to answer you.
Mother, father, son or daughter it makes no difference.
Brother, sister, lover, husband or wife, it makes no difference.
Whatever our connection-friend or even foe-I see you with my new eyes.
I am learning to help wherever you are, wherever I am needed.
This can be done because I am in the Light.
When you feel despair, reach out to me.
I will come.
Our love for you truly does transcend from Heaven to Earth.
Finish your life with the enthusiasm and zest
that you had when we were together in the physical sense.
You owe this to me, but more importantly, you owe it to yourself.
Life continues for both of us.
I am with you because I love you and I am in the Light.

05-24-2010 10:19 AM -- By: Deb & Kia, From: This Tender Path
(by Terri Onorato)
There was a time not long ago
I couldn't feel you near,
I'd cry myself to sleep at night
and watch dawn break through tears.
Encased in pain and sorrow
I couldn't plainly see
the essence of your precious soul
waiting for me so patiently.
I searched my heart with restless speed
but the desperate pace I'd set
caused a shroud to camouflage
the loving signs you sent.
In your own angelic way
you stilled my hurried quest
to reaffirm the love we shared
and put my fears to rest.
You let me know it mattered not
our length of time together,
for time can't measure what we had
nor can our bond it sever.
You showed me that the grief we feel
is a necessary challenge,
and support we give to grieving souls
should remain steadfast in balance.
Learning kindness and compassion
I walk this tender path with care
in the knowledge that your love lives on
through the common bond we share.
I won't take my purpose lightly
and your message is not lost…
Give back the love that's paved upon
this tender path I walk.
05-22-2010 3:41 PM -- By: TARA, From: After Glow
- I'd like the memory of me
- to be a happy one.
- I'd like to leave an after glow
- of smiles when life is done.
- I'd like to leave an echo
- whispering softly down the ways,
- Of happy times and laughing times
- and bright and sunny days.
- I'd like the tears of those who grieve,
- to dry before the sun
- of happy memories
- that I leave when life is done

05-22-2010 11:58 AM -- By: Skye, From:
Hi Gina... Thanks so much for stopping by. It's always nice to hear from you. I am still away, not home yet. I will be on the road and traveling back home on Sunday. I have just had the occasion once in awhile to get connected to some VERY SLOW dial-up service where I am and send a few critter greetings to a few anniversaries and birthdays is all. We were supposed to get an entire week of rain and thunderstorms, but the week did clear up and we managed to get some sunshine and some nice weather which was very welcomed. Can't say that it has been a relaxing getaway though, as I have been plagued with phone calls and issues from back home since I left -- so it hasn't been much of an escape (and I only get away one week a year if that). But I do appreciate the positive turn in the weather. So sorry to hear about your weather -- the mere mention of winter weather makes me want to run and hide! Eeeek! I'm glad Juji is such a wonderful source of joy and laughter. And I know what you mean about having to be inventive about coming up with indoor games for energetic dogs when the weather is bad. :) Though on rainy days, Teddy will just sleep all day if people let him, which I am sure has a lot to do with why he is a bit overweight. I try to keep him active to keep his weight down. Well, I will wish for blue skies, warm weather, and sunshine to head your way. Have a great weekend. Thanks again for stopping by. Hugs, Skye
05-22-2010 8:47 AM -- By: , From: One Day at a Time
You lived your life one day at a time.
The words you shared were always kind.
You loved us all with your whole heart.
It saddens us to be apart, and forever we
hold you in our hearts
Today you stand in God's bright light.
Watching over us day and night.
In our hearts you will remain
Until the day we meet again...
Forever Your love will live on in our hearts
and the hearts of those you touched.
We are so grateful to God for blessing our lives with
the beautiful gift of you.
We miss you sweet angel,
more than you can imagine.

, The Gift That You Are
Startled and fascinated by the beauty and fragility
of your wings, I watch as you move
so gently
so quietly
almost unexpectedly
through my world
And then I watch as you move on,
fluttering softly into the distance.
Pleading silently, I beg you,
please ... don't go.
I haven't yet had the time
to memorize
to remember
to understand
the uniqueness of the beauty that is yours.
I know I cannot hold you for long,
capturing you for my world.
But, rest gently with me
if only for a moment.
That I may treasure the memory
and the beauty of the
gift that you were

On The Wings Of Hope
As an ancient legend goes;
If anyone desires a wish to come true,
they must capture a butterfly and whisper that wish to it.
Since butterflies make no sound,
They can’t tell that wish to anyone but the Great Spirit,
So by making the wish and releasing the butterfly,
It will be taken to the heavens and be granted.
Although this legend implies that we should keep our wishes silent,
there are some wishes that need to be expressed out loud.
To those that have been touched by the disease we are helping to fight today,
We wish the caregivers strength and tranquility,
and thank them for their gifted labor of love.
We wish the survivors a long and happy life,
and thank them for showing us how to fight with courage and determination.
We wish those currently fighting the battle energy and hope,
and thank them for showing us what true bravery is all about.
And finally, we wish the victims peace and love,
and thank them for the joy and happiness they brought to us.
With this symbolic gesture, we honor those that have left us and encourage
those left behind to continue the fight “On the Wings of Hope”.
Legend
As you release this butterfly in honor of me,
know that I'm with you and will always be.
Hold a hand, say a prayer,
close your eyes and see me there.
Although you may feel a bit torn apart,
please know that I'll be forever in your heart.
Now fly away butterfly as high as you can go,
I'm right there with you more than you know.

I just talked to Deb and she was telling me that the guy that came from Mass to measure for the contertops had and has a ridge back, even saw pictures, neat, I hope this poem posts better in Saada book than Kia's make it colorful , An Angel's Kiss
We go through life so often
Not stopping to enjoy the day,
And we take each one for granted
As we travel on our way.
We never stop to measure
Anything we just might miss,
But if the wind should blow by softly
You'll feel an Angel's Kiss
A kiss that is sent from Heaven
A kiss from up above,
A kiss that is very special
From someone that you love.
For in your pain and sorrow
An Angels kiss will help you through,
This kiss is very private
For it is meant for only you.
So when your hearts are heavy
And filled with tears and pain,
And no one can console you
Remember once again.....
About the ones you grieve for
Because you sadly miss
And the gentle breeze
You took for granted
Was just....."An Angel's Kiss"

I wanted to stop by to thank you for dropping by Circe's on her first angelversary. Just as you wrote about Saada's first angelversary, I can't believe my Circe's been gone for a year already. I enjoyed exploring your wonderful tribute to Saada, and was comforted to read about the signs and dreams you had of her. I wish the best for you and Juji, and know that Saada is always with you.
05-15-2010 2:56 PM -- By: Skye, From:
Hi Gina... Thanks for stopping by. It's always great to hear from you. I'm just running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get ready to leave out of town for a week. Teddy went into the kennel this morning where he will be next to Ruby and will have daily play time with her, and Kyleigh has been having a royal melt-down at the mere thought of me leaving (she's a real clingy one). Last year I took Kyleigh with me and although she rode in the car beautifully, the trip was a nightmare, as she paced and HOWLED all night long due to being in a strange place and I never slept a wink the entire week! Never again! :) But, I always feel guilty leaving the pets and find myself thinking about them the entire time while I am gone. Guess maybe that is what happens when you don't have kids. I hope Juji is doing well and is enjoying the warm, summer-like weather. I know she likes to get out and dig to China. :) Our dogs love to do the same thing, both being terrier mixes, and Ruby is especially a digging fanatic when she is out in her play yard and has too much energy to burn. Teddy picked that up from her I swear. Their favorite thing to do is to go inside their igloo doghouse in the play yard at my parent's house and really dig to China! (My parents had removed the doghouse floor since the dogs don't stay out there and only run in and out of the igloo when chasing each other - they did not want the dogs to slip on the plastic flooring. But the dogs got the bright idea that if they crawled inside the igloo and were digging madly (since there was no floor) that us stupid humans would never notice what naughty thing they were doing. Which is pretty smart really, except the dogs never considered the fact that they were spraying a ton of dirt out of the igloo doorway and that it just might tip us stupid humans off! hahaha!). Anyway, I do appreciate you stopping by and I hope that you have a really wonderful weekend and a great upcoming week. Hugs to you and both of your precious girls.

Angel Light Her wings spread wide and ready for flight
Is my guardian angel so full of light
So radiant her face is to me
Such pure beauty for me to see.
Her hair like strands of liquid light falls A wonderful glimpse of heaven for me to taste.
Under the shelter of her wings
All peace and beauty sings.
She is watching all the day and night
Always keeping me in her sight.
She communes with God above
Showing to me his wondrous love.
She is there to guard, tend and care
Always for me I know she will be there.
I know when I see her all things will be alright.
To safely guard me through the darkest night.
God has commissioned her work here on earth.
he gave her to me at the moment of my birth.
Its a wondrous thing she's stood at his throne
Now here with me I am never alone
Wings wide spread and ready for flight.
