Gina no need to Thank me, Saada is just beautiful, I came by to visit her alot while I was doing cds for Deb of KIa's site, and I visit Kia a lot , I miss that beautiful girl so much, even If I only saw her once in a while , she touched my heart,
What a spirit she had and her eyes were out of this world, she was a Mommy's girl like Saada, I found this poem and left it for Deb so thought we leave it for you also, I came on to say good night to Kia, Deb is not feeling well, have a good wekend and give your Juji a lot of love
Though you are gone, every once in a while
You come back to me
And for a moment it's as though you never left
Your closeness overpowers me
And I feel as if I could stretch out my arms
To take you and hug you
And hold you during these precious moments
Which logic cannot define
Sometimes it happens on the darkest of days
When my courage turns to bitter despair
As I contemplate the lonely years that I must face
Without you being here
...Then at some difficult moment
You reach out and send me a sign
To confirm that you're watching over me
That life will turn out just fine
Other times I feel you at unexpected moments
It's like you are simply "checking in"
Other times your signs flow to me in other ways
As natural as the tide comes rushing in
To me, these gifts are like glistening diamonds
On a shore of commonplace sand
Passed over by oblivious people
Who cannot see them...or hardly understand
But for my eyes, and heart, only
They are prisms that send forth the light
And reinforce the hope that I must carry..."

04-29-2010 2:27 AM -- By: Skye, From: Hi Gina... I have been thinking of you and Saada a lot lately and thought I would stop by. I hope things are going well. I wanted to tell you that the other day when I was working at the Lake I spotted a woman walking a Rhodesian Ridgeback. As you know, I never see that breed around here in my area, so it really caught my attention. It then occurred to me later on that it was around this time last year that I ran into that woman who was vacationing at the Lake who had recently inherited that young female R.R. after her sister passed away. Remember me telling you about that and about how minutes earlier I had been sitting on a bench thinking about how much I missed Molly and then this woman came up with her R.R. and it rested its head against my leg and then laid across my feet just like Molly used to do? Well anyway, I am wondering if it is that same woman perhaps back vacationing again with her dog. I will keep my eye out for that dog -- it really is a beautiful R.R. Looks just like a cross between Saada and Juji. By the way, I thought that was funny that Juji was stealing all the peanuts that Pete was hiding -- sounds like something Teddy would do. Boy, she is a beautiful dog, just like her big sis! Speaking of Saada.... I do want to honor that today is the 29th (not that I typically remember the monthly dates). I know that sweet, precious Saada is never far from your mind, and that she will always be in your heart. I came across this poem and it reminded me of the bond you shared with your beloved girl. Just know that you are in my thoughts.
My Treasured Friend
Treasured friend, I’m glad I found you;
Our friendship is a gift we share.
I could be myself around you,
Safe in your love and care.
I miss you when you’re out of sight;
Our friendship bond was meant to be.
I think of you with great delight;
You’re almost part of me.

When golden eyes no longer glow,
and we both know it's time to go,
Don't look at me with eyes so sad,
but think of better times we had,
When sunlight did upon us shine,
and happy days were yours and mine,
And through the grass we both did run,
and on our backs we felt the sun,
Think not of this dark final hour,
think not of when our lives turned sour,
Think not of hopelessness and pain,
but think of joy and laugh again,
For in that final act of love,
you released me to heaven above,
Where finally from pain I'm free,

God chose a special Angel
when he took your paw in his…
He ended all your suffering

You worried about our welfare,
so you lingered a few nights more…
Assuring yourself that we would be fine
before you entered Heaven’s door…
The angels said, “We will be waiting here”,
“Just lets us know when you are ready”…
Your soul whispered back, “I cannot leave yet”,
“I am not sure their hearts are steady”…
On the shores of both heave and earth,
stood loved ones from past and present…
Your heart was literally torn in half
having to choose between your deeper sentiment…
Seeing the conflict in your eyes,
we knew what must be done…
In all of our agony, we failed to realize,
that we were being the selfish ones…
So, in one final selfless act,

I've had so many losses, and I am having a very tough time dealing with another one. I haven't been on Crittres a whole lot since Buster became ill last December. I see Tara is complaining about my jays. . I love them, Kia liked to watch them also, worked in the gardens, feeling the age tonight, hope Juji and Pete are well. 04-20-2010 6:37 PM -- By: Skye, From: Hi Gina.... Wanted to drop you a note to say "hi" and to let you know I was thinking of you and the girls before I fed Teddy his dinner. I hope you are doing well. We have had some beautiful weather out this way for about 2 weeks (except for having temps in the 30's at night). It has been great to finally have dry weather and sunshine! Today we finally got some rain, and at this point we do need it. I was actually home with Teddy today, and we spent the day cooped up inside "playing dog", where I pretend to be a substitute for Ruby. It's a riot really. Teddy really gets a kick out of me chasing him thru the living room and dining room and then letting him chase me in return. Usually the "chase" involves running with "Leonard", his neon orange stuffed octopus. But, oh how I wish I was 20 again! He goes crazy if I do the "play bow" stance...hahaha! -- what a nut! After we both were pooped out, he then spent the rest of the afternoon glued to the front door window just mesmerized as he watched the 5 new baby chipmunks scamper all over my front doorstep. It kept his attention for hours, but at certain points I thought he was going to lose his mind watching them hyperactively scurrying about and teasing him thru the window! Hopefully the weather will be better tomorrow, as Mommy definitely needs to exercise the boy. He has been with his grandparents for the past couple of weeks while I had workmen at the house and was still battling shingles, and he got quite chubby while there! So, we really need to get out and walk at the Lake and chase a lot of tennis balls! Hope things are going great with Juji, and hope you are having a wonderful week so far.
