Gina and Saada   just stoping by  to share a poem that my friend left in Kia's guestbook and to  Remember Saada's angel day  tomorrow  a little early .......My Mom Doesn't Know I'm Watching Her

My Mom doesn't know I'm watching her
but I'm watching her just the same.
And I hear each tear fall on her face
at the very mention of my name.

She says it sounds like music to her ears
and can be heard over a crowd.
Oh, I hear each tear fall on her face
when my name is said aloud.

I watch her stumble through each day
as she wishes the day would end.
And I hear each tear fall on her face
as she talks of me to her friends.

But there are few who truly understand.
Oh this I've heard her proclaim.
And I hear each tear fall on her face.
Will my Mom ever be the same?

I know that her smiles light up a sky.
But I don't see that smile today.
Oh, but I hear each tear fall on her face.
Her blue skies have turned to gray.

Oh I send to her my warmest hug
with the rays of the morning sun.
Then, I won't hear a tear fall on her face.
For I shall erase them one by one.

Yes, my Mom doesn't know I'm watching her.
But I'm watching her just the same.
And if I hear a tear fall on her face
I'll just softly whisper her name!

Send me to the Bridge I pray
when I no longer run and play.
When my limbs can't bear my weight
and dignity is stripped by fate.

Look into my eyes, you'll find
I will let you know, it's time.
You must help me from this edge.
Now it's time, I make this pledge.

I leave you for the Bridge today.
Anew, I run, I bark, I play!
We shared a life of many things
and to your heart my leaving brings;
the pain of loss, I feel it too,
but Master, know, this I must do.

I must leave first, to make the way
for you to follow me someday.
Beyond the sunset, where all pain ends
we'll meet again, the best of friends.

Just as I snuggled in your heart,
you're in mine too, we aren't apart.
I watch you from afar and pray,
it's time to heal, heal some each day.

Please dry those tears and smile for me,
and know at last that I am free.
There is no pain or suffering here.
The sun shines brightly everywhere.

There isn't even one cross look,
it's not allowed here in His book.
No clouds of gray will gather here,
no storms will ever threaten.
We are at peace here,
and the Bridge is Heaven.

Merry Chrirtmas Mom.......Just a Breath Away

Look for me in springtime  As raindrops fill the airIn the splendor of the rainbowYou’ll find my presence there. You will find me in the fragranceOf April’s sweet perfumeDrifting through the cloverOn a sultry day in June.An August day will find meUpon the summer breezeOn the distant sound of the thunderIn the gently swaying trees. In the golden fields of harvestIs where I can be found. As autumn time approachesAnd leaves comes tumbling downIn the wintertime when days are shortAnd chill is in the airJust look into a moonlit nightYou’ll find me lingering there. When the setting sun has gone awayAnd shadows fill the nightWhen the cloak of darkness lifts its veilI’ll be your morning light. So when you feel discouragedGet on your knees and prayYou’ll feel me there beside youI’m just a breath away

Amidst the warm glow of candle light which rises from the earth below, the arms of the Bridge Keeper envelop the heavens and into the precious hands of each child and in front of each animal a holy gift is placed. With grand exuberance the ribbons are removed and left to fly on a tender breeze where they dissolve into showers of angel dust. As the golden lids of these heavenly gifts are raised, an amazing aura fills the sky, reaching down to the very core of the earth. Ascending from each and every box is the greatest gift of all…unending, unconditional, all-encompassing love. This blessed love gently wraps itself around the cherished souls of heaven, warming their hearts with beacons of radiant light and bringing forth from angels an exquisite chorus. As the clock strikes midnight the distance between heaven and earth is vanished.

It is at this very moment on Christmas Eve that the Bridge Keeper, His children, angels and Bridgekids send a message to their earthly loved ones on the wings of this unbridled love.

Listening carefully with an open heart we will hear the familiar voice of our own angel whisper softly into our ear their Christmas message..."Let me share with you this love of mine, always and forever. When you need me know that I am here. I have not left you for I am in your heart where I belong. Our love is eternal as is the brilliant glow of candlelight which illuminates the path to the heavens and Rainbow Bridge. I wait patiently as do you for our inevitable and glorious reunion. I love you, I love you, I love you."

Thank you so much to whoever left the "Night before Christmas" poem, I really enjoyed that one; and the "I'm Spending Christmas..." poem, that is so beautiful. I really appreciate it.

My dear Saada girl... you are in my thoughts today on this Christmas Eve and always. My love to you forever. Missing you so much my angel.

Merry Christmas Gina and Saada. Thinking of you xxx

Friend, please don't mourn for me
I'm still here, though you don't see.
I'm right by your side each night and day
and within your heart I long to stay.

My body is gone but I'm always near.
I'm everything you feel, see or hear.
My spirit is free, but I'll never depart
as long as you keep me alive in your heart.

I'll never wander out of your sight-
I'm the brightest star on a summer night.
I'll never be beyond your reach-
I'm the warm moist sand when you're at the beach.

I'm the colorful leaves when fall comes around
and the pure white snow that blankets the ground.
I'm the beautiful flowers of which you're so fond,
The clear cool water in a quiet pond.

I'm the first bright blossom you'll see in the spring,
The first warm raindrop that April will bring.
I'm the first ray of light when the sun starts to shine,
and you'll see that the face in the moon is mine.

When you start thinking there's no one to love you,
you can talk to me through the Lord above you.
I'll whisper my answer through the leaves on the trees,
and you'll feel my presence in the soft summer breeze.

I'm the hot salty tears that flow when you weep
and the beautiful dreams that come while you sleep.
I'm the smile you see on a baby's face.
Just look for me, friend, I'm everyplace!

The Christmas Angels....

Hush now,  can you hear the Angels singing?
High up in the frosty midnight air?

Voices ringing, singing, songs of Christmas,
Happiness for all the world to share.

As we count the days.....
its Christmas,
filling all our homes with light and love,

Angels share these special times of gladness,
Celebrating with us from high above.
As the snowflakes float like stars from heaven,
Angels touch them softly, one by one,
Giving each one a gentle Angels kiss,
Snowflakes sent with love for everyone.

When we gather ‘round to sing sweet songs,
Each of us with heavy hearts,
In the sky, the Angels all sing with us,
As on the first Christmas long ago.

By our sides, our caring guardian Angels,
Look out for us each and every day.
So, however far from home we travel,
Loving Angels help us on our way.

When we help and care for one another,
High above the angels see it too.
Little acts of kindess,
makes all our Angels smile.

As dusk falls, our Angles fly above us,
Lighting all the stars up in the sky.
When you see a silver star shine brightly,
Then you know our Angels are nearby.

Angles sing their songs of love and friendship,
Special moments,
Sharing everything.
Songs about our happy times and the
Love and warmth that loving friendships bring.

As the daylight fades to gentle shadow,
Soft moonbeams shimmer, silver-white,
Tender Angels watch us while we sleep,
Keeping us safe through the moonlit night.

Hush now, can you hear our Angels singing?
The Sweetest songs of peace and love
From heaven up above.

Christmas songs of hope and joy and wonder..
Filling all our hearts with love…

Written by Claire Freedman, Gail Yerrill.

gina...and family;
have a MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS....
look up to the heavens...see our Angels?   shining bright...day and night?
listen...
hear them sing?
they are there....angelic voices across the heavens....

Merry Christmas Saada and Gina from somebody who knows the pain xx

12-24-2009 7:12 AM -- By: Saada,  From: Rainbow Bridge

I'm Spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this Year

I see the countless Christmas trees,
Around the world below.
With tiny lights, like heaven's stars,
Reflecting on the snow.

The sight is so spectacular,
Please wipe away that tear.
For I'm spending Christmas,
With Jesus Christ this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs,
That people hold so dear.
But the sounds of music can't compare,
With the Christmas choir up here.

For I have no words to tell you,
The joy their voices bring.
For it is beyond description,
To hear the angels sing.

I can't tell you of the splendor,
Or the peace here in this place.
Can you just imagine Christmas,
With our Savior, face to face?

I'll ask Him to light your spirit,
As I tell Him of your love.
So then pray one for another,
As I lift you eyes above.

Please let your hearts be joyful,
And let your spirit sing.
For I'm Spending Christmas in Heaven,
And I'm walking with the King.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU TOO SAADA (aka Swiss Miss), and A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR.  Love you!

12-24-2009 3:39 AM -- By: Saada,  From: Rainbow Bridge

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all over Rainbow Bridge
Not a critter was stirring, not even Hammy Sagar
The stockings were hung in the meadow with care,
In hopes that Saint Nicholas soon would be there.

The critters were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of rawhides danced in their heads.
And Heidi in her kerchief and me - Rameses in my cap
Had just settled down for a long, long, long night's nap

When out in the fields there arose such a clatter,
Puck sprang from his Condo bed, and so did Rocky and Dollie, to see what was the matter.
Away to the window Caliya flew like a flash, with Rosie, Bob M, and Sammie close behind
They each tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave a luster of midday to objects below.
When, what to Fayeroe and Max (PA)’s wondering eyes should appear
But a big huge red sleigh and eight oddly shaped reincritters,
With a little old driver so lively and quick,
Maddie knew in a moment it must be Saint Nick.

More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled and shouted and called them by name:
"Now, Wallace! Now, Windsor! Now, Dale and Bonnie Kraft!
On, Sammy! On, Gabby! On Bailey and Gretchen!
To the top of all the condos and beach houses, to the top of the wall!
Now, dash away! Dash away! Dash away, all!"

As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky,
So up to the housetop the coursers they flew,
With a sleigh full of toys and Saint Nicholas too.

And then in a twinkling Kia and Max (Canada) heard on the roof,
The prancing and pawing of each big and little paw.
As Luke drew in his head and was turning around,
Down the chimney Saint Nicholas came with a bound.

He was dressed all in fur from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot.
A bundle of toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler just opening his pack.

His eyes - how they twinkled! His dimples - how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard on his chin was as white as the snow.

The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.
He had a broad face and a little round belly,
That shook when he laughed like a bowl full of jelly.

He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
And Max (MI) laughed and so did Cassie, when poor little Luna almost fainted.
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave Baci and Misty Rose to know they had nothing to dread.

He spoke not a word but went straight to his work,
And filled all the stockings; then turned with a jerk,
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose.

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But Tippy, Saada and Duke all heard him exclaim ere he drove out of sight,
"Happy Christmas to all and to all a good night!"

The Critters all stood there with smiles aglow, as each one nodded from one to other. "We all Love You Mommy and Daddy", "Please Don’t be sad any more", "Please now Be Happy".
