Dear Gina and Saada. Thank you for visiting Zoe on her birthday.  Saada is so beautiful. I cried when I saw how  thin she looked when you first brought her home. Thank God for people like you.  With Peace

Thank you for stopping by Chloe's site, I appreciated it greatly.  I see your Saada just had her 1st anniversary too.  I hope you are gaining peace and comfort of her passing, our pets are such gifts of joy, it is so hard to lose them.  You have built a beautiful tribute here to Saada.  She was quite a beauty with soulful eyes. She might romping about now with my Chloe!

11-22-2009 8:29 AM -- By: deb and kia,  From:

we are a little early with this poem ,
Last night I saw you in my dreams
a brilliant light engulfed your soul.
And through my sleepy reverie
a glorious message did unfold.

The voice was that of angel harps
as you told me of the way
in which the bridge kids celebrate
this extraordinary day.

A radiant warmth ran through me
when you tenderly detailed
a special place I'd never been
where splendid love prevails.

You told me how the bridge kids
hold their paws and pray
for peace on earth, goodwill toward men
on this special, holy day.

Each bridge kid makes a heartfelt wish
to the Keeper of the stars,
they wish each stray a new-found home
without concrete floors and bars.

They ask that every homeless one
the Keeper not forget
for each one has the soul to be
a loyal, loving pet.

I watch you drift away from me
as in early dawn I find
the spirit of your paw-print message
still vivid in my mind.

I hold the message near my heart
and with a smile I hear
a lullaby of angel harps
singing in my ear.

Weep not for me though I am gone into that gentle night.
Grieve if you will, but not for long upon my soul's sweet flight.
I am at peace, my souls at rest.
There is no need for tears.
For with your love I was so blessed.
For all those many years.
There is no pain, I suffer not,
The fear now all is gone.
Put now these things out of your thoughts,
In your memory I live on.
Remember not my fight for breath
Remember not the strife.
Please do not dwell upon my death,
But celebrate my life.

Hi Saada:  Thanks for stopping.  Know what I want to do to celebrate 7 months at RB?  Let's go find some snow and make snowmen.  I know there has to be snow somewhere up here.  I love making snowmen.  What'd ya say?

11-16-2009 9:58 PM -- By: Jennifer (GiGi),  From: TX

Gina,

Thanks to you and your beautiful girl for stopping by to leave your kind words of comfort on Jez's page. Jezzie was our "grandkitty," but we loved her every bit as much as one of our own pups. We also lost our sweet pup Tidbit to cancer in May last year so I know the pain you're still enduring.

Saada surely knew heaven on earth in your home, and I remain convinced that we would not be allowed to forge these special bonds of love with our darlings were we not meant to see each other again someday.

Thanks again, and God bless!

Dearest Gina and precious Saada ... thank you so much for visiting my babies' memorial.  It always puts a big smile on their daddy's face.

I hope all is well .. except for the cold ... I know exactly what you mean.  It snowed about 5 inches Saturday at my home and Cupcake and Xander just loved running and playing in it .. but ran back inside after a while because their little paws were too cold.  Then once warmed up... out they went again.

To Saada ... you are a beauty and how I love your picture.  Saada, always know that you are so loved and so missed.  I hope that Sammy, Gabby and Bob M and all the furbabies are running and playing with you until you all fall asleep together .. and dream of your family down here who love you all so much.

Gina, sending hugs to you and always ......

Hi Gina. Thankyou for stopping by and looking in on us. How is the new baby doing?I hope all is well.

Yes we did have a Surprise Birthday party for Bruno and John"Bruno's previous dad". all turned out well. John was so surprised and loved to see Bruno being happy with Beth. Of course after giving Bruno a few toys and lots of hugs and kisses, their were tears in John's eyes but i believe they were happy tears. He has been over to Beth's place a few times to visit Bruno and had told me he was so happy i found Bruno the home as he can see Bruno is very happy with Beth and there is nothinh Bruno could ask for that he doesn't already have.LOL. He loves to be able to come and visit Bruno and is always welcome at Beth's house.

Take care. Hugs

11-15-2009 6:33 PM -- By: Ebony & her mom, Carole,  From:

Hello Gina and Saada. thank you for stopping by to visit us on Ebony's 14th birthday. Yes, it was bittersweet today. I figured I'd wake up smiling. Well, I did...only through many tears. I guess the emotions flood on these special days. We had such a wonderful life together, and I am a better person after having Ebony in my life. She made a big difference in both my outlook and way of living. She taught me that it is really the most simple things that matter. Love is all we need.

I read through Saada's memorial again. It's very beautiful, and your love for her shines throughout every word. WOW, Juji is absolutely beautiful! I am sure that Saada had a paw in your getting together. I am so glad she has you for a mom. What a grand time she is in for. We appreciate your friendhip more than you could ever know! Many hugs sent your way.

11-15-2009 1:43 PM -- By: mom,  From: thank you Deb and Kia for the poem

Mom and DAD. I made it safely to The Bridge

Shimmering stars and candlelight, made for an easy flight.
My friends were here to greet me, they sure were a welcome sight,
Whoohoo! we had a heck of a party, lasting through the night!
The "Bridgekids Band" was playing when I arrived on the scene,
Hot d a m n, I danced my paws off, I feel just like a teen!

Today I received my first present, a pair of golden wings,
So I'll be able to visit, when I learn to use these things!
I ran through the fields of flowers, chasing butterflies along the way,
Barking "hi" to all the angels and new friends who stopped to play.

Everything is as you said, pretty flowers, blue skies and warm sun,
My day was spent with old friends and new, having non-stop fun.
I found the "Bridge Fridge," but my stay there was very brief,
When I opened the door, I cried aloud, "hey, where the h e l l is the beef?"

I'm looking forward to nightfall Mom, when we gather and hop a star,
Making the journey to all our loved ones left behind, but not afar.
You will feel my presence, you may see me, maybe not,
But speak to me softly, lest the neighbors think you're doing pot!

I love you Mom, I miss you, but I'm never very far,
So until it's time to meet again, when the night is black as tar,
Look up to the sky and you will see me, I'm the very closest star.

Thank you Deb and Kia for this great poem!!

Gina & Saada: Thank you so much for thinking about me and T-Bone on this his 2nd Angel Day. My heart just got a squeeze reading about Saada and cancer. That's what happened to my T-Bone also. There are many "why's" that will be answered someday and the cancer thing is sure one of them for me. Why T-Bone ? Why Saada ? I don't know and even if I did know, I would still miss T. I DO know that it will be a happy day when we get to see them again !

Thank you ever so much once again. You have made a sad day just a littlle brighter.

Connie

Gina.... Thank you so much for stopping by Molly's memorial and guestbook to leave your warm wishes and kind words on her birthday.  Your thoughtfulness and kindness was greatly appreciated.  Thank you for helping to keep my precious girl's memory alive.  That means more to me than you will ever know.

As you know, I have been very busy this week with Mr. Teddy Joe!  Boy, am I tired!  But it sure has been a lot of fun.  :)  Teddy is having the time of his life and seems happier than I have ever seen him before!  As I type this, he is running thru the living room shaking the living daylights out of his big chicken doll (the "Suspicious Chicken" doll made by Fat Cat").  In fact, I just noticed that he has dragged all of his toys out of the kitchen and has brought them into the living room because he cannot decide what he wants to play with.  Every once in awhile he will just come up to me and sit in front of me with his back to me because he wants a massage -- it's hilarious!  I expected him to be passed out by now, as we walked around the lake late this afternoon in the freezing cold after being cooped up inside for 2 days with flooding rains from Hurricane Ida -- but I have noticed that he has much more energy now that he is happier.  Molly always loved to walk around that same lake back when her legs were still healthy -- I always have a moment when she crosses my mind whenever I look out across the water there.  Thank you again for remembering my sweet girl on her special day.  Gosh, how I miss her.

Hugs to you,  Skye
