A broken-hearted mourner asked me.
"All the rest of your Life,"
I have to answer truthfully.
We never quite forget.
No matter how many years pass, we remember.
The loss of a loved one is like a major operation.
Part of us is removed, and we have a scar
For the rest of our lives.
As years go by, we manage.
There are things to do, things to care for,
Tasks that call for full attention.
But the pain is still there, not far below the surface.
We see a dog or a cat that looks familiar,
Hear a voice that echoes,
See a photograph we put away,
See a landscape that once we saw together,
And it seems as though
A knife were in the wound again.
But not so painfully,
And mixed with joy, too,
Because remembering a happy time is not all sorrow;
It brings back some happiness with it, too.
How long will the pain last?
"All the rest of your life."
But the thing to remember
Is that not only will the pain last,
But the blessed memories as well.
Tears are proof of life;
The more love, the more tears.
If this be true, then how could we ever ask
That the pain cease altogether?
For then the memory of love would go with it.
The pain of grief is the price we pay for love.

We have a new baby here now. A beautiful little girl pitty..someone dropped her here last Thursday. She was all caught up in some bind weeds and was crying so much. Lita hates her. Jack tolerates her and Clem loves her. Just like you will when you meet her one day. I think that she is going to live with your favourite NIECE, Bella Anne...she will be her very first dog..all her own.......I bet some of you has come back in "puppy".....I am not going to name her..I just yell "puppy" and she comes running@@@@ Love you so much, Mom

Step 1
Remove most of the skin from a lean boneless chicken .You need 1 part chicken to 3 parts rice or barley for the recipe. Meanwhile, bring a large pot of water to a boil on the stove. Boil the chicken until it is cooked thoroughly.
Step 2
Chop a large carrot and add it to the chicken when it is about halfway through. It's OK to overcook the carrot.
Step 3
Boil the rice. While it is cooking, strain the chicken and carrot. Leave them in the colander so they cool.
Step 4
Place the chicken, carrot and rice in blender . Make the mixture as smooth as you can. Add milk replacer as needed, 1/4 at a time, to attain a baby-food-like consistency. (As your puppies get older, you can make this chunkier.)

You worried about our welfare,

before you entered Heaven’s door…

“Just lets us know when you are ready”…
Your soul whispered back, “I cannot leave yet”,
“I am not sure their hearts are steady”…
On the shores of both heave and earth,
stood loved ones from past and present…
Your heart was literally torn in half
having to choose between your deeper sentiment…
Seeing the conflict in your eyes,
we knew what must be done…
In all of our agony, we failed to realize,
that we were being the selfish ones…
So, in one final selfless act,
we told you to take God’s paw…
So that together, you and he
could cross over to the promise land…
In one final breath filled with
your passion so deep and true…
You took God’s hand and left behind
all of those who truly adored you…
Our only solace is knowing,
that now you are free of pain…
And when God comes to take our hands
that he will lead us back to you again…
04-25-2010 9:39 PM -- By: Buster and his mom, Carole, From:  Nadine, I am heart-broken once again. My little man Buster went peacefully to sleep last night at 5:42pm. He lost his battle with kidney disease. I could feel him telling me he was done, and ready to go be with his brothers and sisters. I cannot believe I've said goodbye to another one of my kids. I can hardly take it. I cried last night and all day today.
I am lost. April will be a tough month for me...forever. After my kitty Seville going onto his forever journer April 1st, then my mom's birthday would have been April 16th, then Ebony's angelday April 21st...now Buster is gone. My God, I hurt mor than I can put in words. I don't know what to do.
I know Luna was right there waiting to greet Buster. We love you my friend. Please say a prayer for me. Too many losses...too close together. I am broken.

Dearest Pat and the gang ... I, too, am very upset with our Supreme Court and their decision. This "freak" makes money by selling videos of dogs fighting which I resent and will NEVER, EVER spend a penny on such a video .. and .. anyone who does is a "freak" themselves.
We have to wonder about our United States Supreme Court ... don't ya' think .....
Hope all is well your way ... and weather getting nice. Days here are nicer but windy ... am so ready for the real Spring.

Thank you so much for stopping by for my boy Sam, I truly appreciate it. You are right, I do know Sam met Milo. I could just imagine the two of them together. Sam was much bolder. But the love we all share for every one of them runs so deep. I love the garden you have for Fayeroe, its really beautiful.

I know that you are okay now and you have many, many friends. Your birthday is next month. You would be 8. I still can't accept that you died when you were 7 years old. Sweet girl, Mom

Feeling lonely without solace,
And weeping a storm of tears.
Angels from Heaven came to my way,
To whisper good news in my ear.
One Angel said that,
The Lord sent me Joy and Peace,
And I should have nothing to Fear.
Another sweet Angel held my hand.
She encouraged me: "Never fail, always stand.
For my Rights so dear, which follow my heart.
God would show me the way with His Light and Art."
A third lovely Angel gave me a hug.
She said, "I should never fear not to be loved.
For what Jesus, our Lord and Saviour,
For my sins, shed His blood on the Cross,
mocked, tortured and crowned with thorns,
for me again, to be born,
To save my soul and to live and to be loved."
Suddenly, a white beautiful bird,
Flew over and landed on my shoulder.
It moved its feathers in a way, as if expressing Joy:
The Holy Spirit came to announce me that,
Jesus was coming on my way.
At that point in time,
I saw a bright Light on top of the calm waters.
I caught a glimpse of a glowing serene image,
Like standing on waters without gravity.
The brightness and serenity of its beauty was overwhelming.
Then, I heard a Miracle of soft voices
Singing praise, serenade of soothing words,
Which I could not have understood clearly.
In any way, the soreness and tears stopped.
So, I knelt down on my knees, opened my arms
To the sky and said:
"Oh!! You are my good Lord Jesus and Saviour!!
You have soothed my pain and healed my heart.
I shall always be Your humble servant.
My Lord Jesus Christ!!"
His Holiness was majestically Divine.
The Lord looked upon me and spoke just a few words:
"Oh!!...My child, weep no more, feel no fear!!
For what as Your Heavenly Father,
I shall be carrying you all the way to the end of times,
From trouble waters to a safe, calm haven Sea.
Weep no more, Fear no more..."
Then, His Holy image vanished into the lavish sunset.
And, I was at Peace again.

A dog must have a secret place

A sort of close acquaintance that
He trusts in and confides.
And when accused unjustly for
Himself, He cannot speak,
Rebuked, He finds within his soul
The comfort he must seek.
He'll love, tho'he is unloved,
And he'll serve tho'badly used,
And one kind word will wipe away
The times when he's abused.
Altho' his heart may break in two
His love will still be whole,
Because God gave to every dog
An understanding Soul!
