Pat, what a great picture of Fayeroe!!!! The similarities between her and Saada are really noticeable in this picture, their coloring is so much alike! I love how she is seated waiting for you, that is so sweet.
Want to wish you a Happy St. Patrick's Day too!!
When Irish eyes are smiling,
'Tis like a morn in spring.
With a lilt of Irish laughter
You can hear the angels sing.

love that picture she is just lovely.......
Have you ever wondered what makes the wind blow?
Could it be our loved ones blowing us a kiss?
Have you ever wondered what makes the stars shine?
Is it our loved ones keeping watch over us while we sleep?
Have you ever wondered what makes the skies cry?
Could it be our loved ones missing us?
Have you ever wondered what makes the sun shine?
Is it our loved ones giving us a warm hug?
Have you ever wondered what makes the ocean waves come pounding to shore?
Could it be our loved ones wanting to touch us once more?
There are so many of natures wonders and do we really know why?
Is there a higher power making sure we always remember the loved one we’ve lost and shall never forget.

Fayedy, Fayedy, the work girl! I'll never forget you going to work with me in Wichita Falls. We had to leave at 6 a.m. in order to have the gallery open and ready for customers at 9 a.m. How you loved your job.
Fayeroe was on the front page of the Wichita Falls paper in a feature of "taking your dog to work". She always wore a different bandana and quietly greeted every customer who came in the door. Her little stubby tail would be wiggling her butt. What a girl! Love, Mom

Sitting here remembering,
The smile upon your face
And how it made the world light up
You were full of heavenly grace.
No longer can I see your face
For you are with God above
But your loving smile will always be
Tucked in my heart with love.
I know you wouldn’t want to see
Me crying the way I do,
But losing you was a part of me
And days, I can’t make it through.
Do you hear me crying?
It’s because some days I’m down
I look around for you,
But you’re nowhere to be found.
Only pictures now remain of you;
Special songs that meant so much
So if you hear me crying,
It’s because I can’t feel your touch.
Sometimes I think I see you,
On a crowded street or mall.
I then run up and call your name,
But it wasn’t you at all.
My heart still aches in sadness
And tears, oh how they flow!
What it meant to lose you,
No one will ever know.
So, if you hear me crying,
It’s something I can’t control
Just understand my darling,
When I’m again with you, I’ll be whole.

|In Time of Sorrow...
|May you see God's light on the path ahead
When the road you walk is dark.
May you always hear,
Even in your hour of sorrow,
The gentle singing of the lark.
When times are hard may hardness
Never turn your heart to stone,
May you always remember
when the shadows fall—
You do not walk alone

Dearest Fayedy, I'm missing you very much these days. It is time to plant your blanket garden and I just can't seem to get started on it. I guess I'm in denial about you being gone. I know that Moma and Daddy love being with you. They would have really enjoyed meeting you here but since they didn't...I know that they are happy that you are with them. I'll meet you. Mom
The Bridge is There
I Will Meet You in the Morning
I will meet you in the morning on the bright riverside,
When all sorrows have drifted away.
I'll be standing at the portal with the gates open wide
At the close of life's long, dreary day.
I'll meet you in the morning with a "How do you do?"
And we'll sit down by the river, and with rapture, old acquaintance renew.
You'll know me in the morning by the smile that I wear.
When I meet you in the morning in that city that is built foursquare.
I will meet you in the morning in the sweet by and by,
And exchange the old cross for a crown.
There will be no disappointments and no body shall die
In that land where life's sun goeth down.
I will meet you in the morning at the end of the way
On the streets of that city of gold,
Where we all can be together and be happy for aye
As the years of eternity roll.

Sung to the tune of 'The Times They Are A'Changing' by Bob Dylan)
We're fighting to set all the animals free,
To release them from bondage and man's tyranny
And we'll never give up 'til each one of them's free
For their pain is our pain and it's hurting;
And the truth must be told
By the fearless and bold
For the times they are a'changing.
There's no-one to save them except you and me,
And we'll never give up on them 'til they are free.
If it takes us a lifetime that's how it must be,
And truth will win out in the end;
For justice and right
Surely overcome might
And the times they are a'changing.
And when you're downhearted and filled with despair
Don't give up the fight for you've comrades out there,
And together we'll banish oppression and fear,
And the world will be happy and free;
And our hearts will be filled
For no more will be killed
Oh, the times they are a'changing.
So dare to have courage and dare to be strong,
And dare to tell others that murder is wrong,
And give all that you have and give all that you can,
And success will be ours in the dawning;
And sorrow and pain
Will never more reign
For the times they are a'changing.
Each day of your lifetime where 'ere you may be,
Be a voice for the animals 'til they are free.
Enlighten the ignorant, make the blind see,
And this slavery surely will end;
And with banners unfurled
Let us shout to the world,
Oh, the times they are a'changing.

A angel looked down from the sky
Shaking her head and wondering why.
Don't cry dear loved ones she said with a sigh.
Heaven is beautiful and now I can fly.
I know you were sad when I had to depart
But don't let my passing darken your heart.
Our journey's not over, it's only a start.
We'll all meet in Heaven, never again to be apart,
Heaven is incredible, a wonderful sight.
Did you know there were colors besides black and white?
Days full of sunshine and stars shine at night.
Skies full of angels that have taken to flight.
Please live your life full of joy and not hate
And please keep bitterness from
becoming your fate.
Take comfort in knowing that I will wait
Your angel will be there at the gate

Remember Me This Way
(Mrs. Lyman Hancock)
When I come to the end of my journey
And I travel my last weary mile,
Just forget if you can, that I ever frowned
And remember only the smile.
Forget unkind words I have spoken;
Remember some good I have done.
Forget that I ever had heartache
And remember I've had loads of fun.
Forget that I've stumbled and blundered
And sometimes fell by the way.
Remember I have fought some hard battles
And won, ere the close of the day.
Then forget to grieve for my going,
I would not have you sad for a day,
But in summer just gather some flowers
And remember the place where I lay,
And come in the shade of evening
When the sun paints the sky in the west
Stand for a few moments beside me
And remember only my best

Pat: Thank you for visiting my Simey girl's memorial and for the poem; It is beautiful and so is your precious Fayeroe. She is an angel and your memorial to her is very touching as it brought tears to my eyes and I related to your feelings for the love you shared with your baby. She died close to a year ago and my Simey was 2 years ago and I cry every day for her. My life will never be the same and I will love her until I die. I hope your precious has met my Simey and they are playing together in the warm sunshine. Peace to you and a great big kiss on Fayeroe's nose. God Bless, Mary Lou ----Simey's Mummy

I live among God's creatures now
In the heavens of your mind,
So do not grieve for me, my friend,
As I am with my kind.
My collar is a rainbow's hue,
My leash is a shooting star.
My boundaries are the Milky Way
Where I sparkle from afar.
There are no pens or kennels here
For I am not confined,
But I'm free to roam God's heavens
Among the Doggie kind.
I nap the day on a snowy cloud
Gentle breezes rocking me,
And dream the dreams of earthlings,
And how it used to be.
The trees are full of liver treats,
And tennis balls abound,
And milkbones line the walkways
Just waiting to be found.
There even is a ring set up,
The grass all lush and green;
And everyone who gaits around
Becomes the Best of Breed.
For we're all winners in this place;
We have no faults, you see.
And God passes out those ribbons
To each one, even me.
I drink from waters laced with gold,
My world a beauty to behold;
And wise old dogs do form my pride
To amble at my very side.
At night I sleep in angel's arms,
Her wings protecting me,
And moonbeams dance about us
As stardust falls on thee.
So when your life on Earth is spent
And you stand at Heaven's gate,
Have no fear of loneliness —
For here, you know, I wait.

Why must I grieve silently,
When my heart is so loudly screaming?
The emptiness I feel is consuming me,
Oh God, how I wish I were dreaming.
The silence around me is deafening,
For nobody knows what to say,
To comfort this agony I'm feeling,
Since my daughter went away.
And each day the sun continues to rise,
And the earth is still turning,
Though my world has come to a screeching halt,
No one can ease my yearning.
For a part of me has vanished,
And a part of my heart has died,
And no one can hear my heartache,
Or feel the turmoil I carry inside.
And I'll go on grieving silently,
And exist on a different plane,
And I'll keep my love for her deep in my heart,
Until we see each other again.

Hello Fayeroe and Pat. I apologize for missing your birthday pretty girl Fayeroe. Belated Happy Birthday beautiful angel! So much going on here in my house...too much going on. I have not been able to visit our friends like I want to. Pat, you will be kept in my prayers. Hugs to you!!!

So, so many times, Fayeroe, I have thought that I heard you. I've heard your little affectionate bark that you used to get my attention. I've heard your toenails on the floors......Once I looked over towards the end of the sofa and I thought it was you lying on your back...it was Clemmie. Your feet and bellies look so similiar. I miss your warm back up against mine in the bed. I miss everything about you.
It is so hard to believe that you've been gone one year. Sometimes it seems like yesterday. I love you, Mom
We have a secret, you and I,
That no one else shall know,
For who, but I can see you lie,
Each night, in fire glow?
And who but I can reach my hand
Before we go to bed,
And feel the living warmth of you
And touch your silken head?
And only I walk woodland paths,
And see, ahead of me,
Your large form racing with the wind,
So young again, and free.
And only I can see you swim
In every brook I pass...
And, when I call, no one but I
Can see the bending grass.
