What a beautiful girl your Faye. I am sorry for your loss as well. Thank you for the comforting words. I miss my girl every day. But I know she is not far and that we will see each other again. I take solace in knowing that she is waiting for me with my loved ones. Thank you Pat for being such a caring person and sharing the poem you left for Mia and me. God Bless you.

Dearest Fayedy: How are things at The Bridge today? It is cloudy right now but the temperature is going to warm up. The pastures are green and the trees are budding out. I wish you were here to run and play with me. I know you are with Tippy and our HUGE crew and that helps me feel better. I love you, Mom

Pat.... Thank you for sharing your site with me. I cried the whole time. It brings back memories of my wonderful boy Geno and Dino who started me down this wonderful road of Greythound rescue. If only all Greyhounds could find the same love you have for your boys this would be for them heaven on earth. Thank you so much for sharing .Onetuffkitty@aol.com

Good Morning at, Fayeroe, Tippy and crew,
All guest book posts are a treasure so late or not we love it so thank you. Actually, sometimes late is better as it spreads out the cheer.
Spring is peeping out here though we stil have the rain which we need as we are way behind in that department. Hope you are enjoying some time outside with the hens and other critters.

Dearest Fayeroe: I miss you so much. Another Easter with out you. Another egg hunt without that stubby little tail going like crazy. How excited you got when you saw the basket of eggs and knew I was going to hide them! You never hogged your eggs, you always shared them with Jack and Lita...if they didn't find as many.
It is very cloudy and rainy and you know how depressed I get without sunshine. I went to Mena yesterday and would have given anything to have you in the truck with me.
Here is a part of the song that I played the morning of your funeral.
The moon gives light and shines by night
I scarcely feel the glow
We learn to live and then we forgive
O'er the road we're bound to go
More frailer than the flowers, these precious hours
That keep us so tightly bound
You come to my eyes like a vision from the skies
And I'll be with you when the deal goes down Bob Dylan...I'll be there, Fayedy....Love you, Mom

Pat - I absolutely can't believe I missed Fayeroe's anniversary. I visited in February but not on this important day. Just wanted to be here and let you know I care. I did read the events surrounding the loss of Fayeroe. I'm just heartbroken for you and cannot believe there are people out there so cruel and heartless. It is hard enough to lose our babies but this is just an impossible thing to let loose of. Much love from Sherin and Liam

Hi Pat and beautiful Fayeroe.. So sorry to hear that you have the flu. There is so much of it around, it's hard to stay away from it. I have not been on Critters but wanted to visit a few friends and just say Hi.
Take care of yourself Pat and get lots of rest. Do you hear me? I know that's easier said than done but sometimes we just have to do so.
Sending hugs and wishing you a speedy recovery. Get well soon!

Hi again Pat,
We are home. Hard to believe so much work was waiting for us. Playing catch up now. We all had a good time, especially the kids with 2-4 mile hikes, swims and so on. They miss it now! Our walks are a bit shorter and not as scienic but we have fun together anyway. Hope you are well. Hugs to you and all your feathered and furred friends.

oh sweet fayeroe and sweet pat!!! you have no idea what your message did for me. i can't put it in words my friend. i sooooooo hope faye was there to welcome BJ. i don't have much time right now but i just wanted to say thank you for offering your friendship...in the way that matters, you are one of my kind...like most of the others on here, i think...and for that, i love you my friend and i love all of your furbabies...the ones still here and the ones hangin' with BJ. and oh my sweet jesus of latter day saints - you are hysterical, pat! i love the boots story. hopefully you freaked them out. :) so happy to have met you and all your sweet babies...i'm looking forward to reading fayeroe's memorial tonight. at work now and just don't have the time and i've learned, stay away from this site as much as possible while at work...crying my eyes out is not ideal at work. i will talk with you soon. much love and light to you and fayeroe and sammy and others if there are others...i don't think i know that yet. if there are others, i would love to meet them as well. :)

Dearest Fayeroe: We made it through another year, girl. I can do it because I know that you are young and healthy and you are with our family. I do miss you. I miss you so very much. When I look at the photograph that Lauvern made of you, all the flowers, birds and butterflies remind me of our sweet days together in Lockhart. We had so much fun in Texas. I know that you with us here in Oklahoma and that gives me comfort. Know that I love you as much, if not more, than I did the last time I saw you. I love you, Mom

"An angel stands by the water one I do know well
Her eyes tell many stories of the home that she did dwell
An angel filled with strength and a heart made of just gold
which filled her spirit with wisdom in the days as she grew old
with brown eyes so wide and a smile upon her face
this angel's wings take her home to her favorite place
.With golden trees and long tall fields and flowers all in bloom
to the candlesticks and ox tail bones that filled her only room
then the angel lays down slowly beneath her woven rug
waiting for her mother to appear to feel her warming hug
this angel holds a bond that the heavens can truly see
within these field she did roam forever she will be
With moonlit nights and a porch in hand this angel does appear
to spend another precious moment with her master near
with a long sleek coat and a howl so grand the angel sure does know
her spirit lives within the hills and continues just to grow
so if you see a tall thin figure leaping from the grass
never turn your head away make the moment last
for an angel so special with this wisdom in her heart
can never leave the love she knew from the very start
She stands along the Mary statue filled with only pride
a bark in toe, a simple song with Tippy by her side.
For the love she knew from her master will never fade away
look for her in the pasture in the Texas flowers she lay.
So when her master is feeling down she wants her to believe
her heart remains in the pasture she will never truly leave
She still sits in the truck and hears her favorite song
her angel wings wrap you tight and only makes her strong
he thanks this special woman her mother she still knows well
feel her spirit in the wind where the iris does dwell
So sing the song and light the candle as you did before
you will feel her spirit once again knocking at the door
Never dismay at the thought that she had to go away
her angel wings carry her home on any given day.
She thanks her mother every year for their bond has only grown
for in her eyes she's the HERO that she has always known."
