Dearest Skye and precious Molly ... so wonderful to hear from you.  Hoping all is well out your way.  Things here are just dry.  We've had some rain .. but not as much as I'd like .. but will take what we get.

Yes, pretty soon Fall will be upon us .. then winter and the shoveling of snow.  I've been trying to "strengthen" my back so that I do not injure myself .. but I'm sure I'll do something .... always happens.  You know, ain't that youngster any more ... hahaha

Know that you are cherish and your friendship means the world to me, Skye.  Know I keep you in my prayers always.  Take good care of yourself and your furkids ... and know you have friends here in Santa Fe, New Mexico, who cherish your friendship.  Sending hugs always.

Hi Skye-

Thanks for stopping by and the wishes for Sam. Also, thanks for your kind words about this hurricane. Unfortunately we are still without power since yesterday. Thank God we have a generator, which the hose was broken at first but we fixed it. There are trees down all over my street also and they are saying the power will be out at least a few more days. You dont realize how much you use power until you dont have it. At least no one was hurt, what are you going to do right? Thanks again for stoppig by & cross your hands I get some power by tomorrow maybe I need to see the light again in my house, lol.

Hugs to you. Have a great night, Linda!

Hello Skye et all,

Thank you for visiting Kobe's memorial on his first angelversary. The poem you posted is beautiful, and am having a difficult time typing because the tears keep flowing. Your words eloquently summed up feelings felt every day since temporarily becoming seperated from Kobe. Hope that he learned to use his wings from Molly. She seems like a great tutor. God Bless you Skye, and thank you for rescuing those earthbound angels that were about to be put down. Be well. Stay safe. Will never forget your lovely words.

TM et V/R,

Skye and Molly (et all),

Please accept this belated thank you for the kind words you posted on Timmie's 2nd angelversary. Timmie, Molly, and all the companions that chose to share this life with us are waiting patiently whole/hale and watching over us on the Island of Brotherly/Sisterly Love. Waiting for the joyful moment when all will be reunited, and to cross over with the purest love and truest sense of companionship the rainbow bridge that lies there. God Bless.

TM et V/R,

Dearest Skye and precious Molly and the rest of the gang ... just wanted to say "HI" and to wish you a grand weekend.  Hoping all is well out your way.

Things here are "chugging" along .. and getting some rain .. but will take what we can.  No more fires in this area .. which I am so thankful for .. that smoke was horrible.

Sending you and your furkids many hugs and kisses.

Dear Syke,

I want to thank you very much for the encouraging and uplifting post you left on Pepper's guestbook.  I know you must have loved your baby Molly very much cause your post was filled with so much compassion.  Your words helped me to feel better about my love for my baby Pepper.  I was so sad but pet owners like you helped me to get through a really low period.  I miss my little girl very much.

I want to also thank you for wishing my little girl a happy birthday.

You are so very kind and I hope you will always hold your special thoughts of your darling Molly near and dear to your heart.

Thanks, again so much!!!

I forgot to add my sympathy to you and your family for the recent loss of your beautiful Ruby too.

08-24-2011 4:22 PM -- By: Kara Lee,  From: Colorado Springs

Hello. A friend of mine had seen your memorial and referred it to me since I recently lost my own yellow lab and have been struggling. A lot of my friends and family cant understand why I cant get past my grief. I have read the entire memorial and it is so beautiful. of course it made me shed many tears reading it but some pages also made me smile reading about the funny and silly things you and Molly shared together. I can tell you have a good sense of humor. It is so nice to know that someone else understands how I feel about my lab. She was my whole world! I think your memorial has taught me that you have to cling to the happy funny memories in order to start to heal. I think you also show that it is the best way to honor her too. I am very sorry for the loss of your beautiful Molly but I am very glad I came here to read her memorial. Thank you for reminding me to remember and cherish all the GOOD memories and not to dwell on the bad. I hope your Molly and my Jackie are running and playing together in heaven now.

Hello Skye

Your Molly is so beautiful. What beautiful loving eyes. You have created such a wonderful memorial to her here. I've been reading (and crying) for quite a while. I hope one day to add more to Leya's but I need to get to a more positive place first I think.

I wanted to thank you for taking time to stop by and visit Leya on her 1st Angelversary. It was a hard day for me but it really did help to know others were thinking of her. Thank you so much for all your kind words and wishes...

To Gerry:
Thanks so much.  Your kind words and your visits are always very welcomed and greatly appreciated.  Thank you for always stopping by to check out Molly's memorial.  I am really grateful for each time you stop by, as it helps to keep Molly's beautiful memory alive even more.  I actually thought of you the other day, as our local rescue group had a pretty little ragdoll cat in their care.  Our family once had a gorgeous ragdoll cat named Madison (Maddy) years ago.  He was the silliest, quirkiest, and most sweet-natured cat ever.  I remember how my nephew (who was a toddler at the time) would just lay on top of the cat and use him as a pillow, and that crazy cat would just patiently let him.  Madison also had a quirky habit of hugging the door frames and then he would suddenly spring up and down along the door casing like he was a kangaroo who had lost its mind...LOL.  No one ever understood why he did that (for attention probably), but it would always make us laugh.  It was his own trademark nutty thing that he always did, and I will always remember it with a smile.  So,my thoughts are with you and your precious Blackie.  I'd like to think that Blackie and Maddy have teamed up beyond the Rainbow Bridge and are having an absolute blast getting into all sorts of fun mischief.  Thanks again for stopping by -- it is much appreciated!
Best Wishes to You Always,

Hi Skye,

Well, here I am again lol, just popping in to have a quick read and you never fail to amaze me , it is a wonderful experience getting a glimpse of your beautiful dog, Molly.

I truly beleve that her love for you is so great that she had to show herself to you and the rainbow after that experience confirms it. After my experience with Blackie sending that younger cat to me, meowing at my glass sliding door just to tell me thank you and not to worry shows that our love bond for the pets we dearly love is very strong. Yes, Skye just embrace the forever love Molly has for you and she is telling you this in the best way she can.

Best regards,

Gerry & Blackie

Thank you for writing in Josey's guestbook on her Angel Day.  I appreciate your kindness.  I bought a bouquet of flowers today and placed it by her ashes and memory book.  She'll always be a part of me, as I'm sure Molly will be for you.  Blessings,

Hi Skye --
I wanted to stop by and let you know I was thinking about you and your family and hoping you are all doing okay.  I am sure it has been very hard since Ruby has been gone. I hope Teddy has been adapting ok. I know pets can really grieve too. Oh Skye, I just read your latest memorial page and my eyes welled with tears, it is so touching! I loved that page. Molly's memorial is so loving. And I fully understand what you are saying too. I still occasionally see Simon when I least expect it. Just last month I was watching TV and I swear I saw Simon slink past the couch the way he always did. Initially I did not even think anything of it (except "there goes Simon") because it just felt so familiar that for a moment I really think I just forgot that he was gone. But then I saw it again out of the corner of my eye and then I realized "oh my goodness was that Simon?!"  I have heard others mention similar experiences seeing glimpses their pets who have passed. Sometimes even many years later. So you are not alone and are not crazy. I have no doubt that Molly stopped by to tell you she was watching over you.
I have to tell you that I love your toddler pic on the journey page. You look just like a little dog whisperer! So cute. I know all your pets have been very lucky to have you Skye, you have a very big heart! Well, Kip says hi and we are thinking of you. Take good care.
Much Love,

Dear Skye,

Thank you so much for writing.  Your Molly is beautiful.  She has such a loving face.  My dad's birthday was April 15, he passed away many years ago.  I'm sure he and Molly have become friends.  Thank you again for writing.  We appreciate it very much.

What a gorgeous well written memorial! Just beautiful! It is truly one of the most touching and loving memorials I have ever seen!  And the love between you and this precious dog is undeniable. Those who cannot understand that our pets are our family members and best friends simply have not truly loved a pet, and they are missing out on a lot. This wonderful memorial to a beloved pet proves that. It was a pleasure to read. It really tugs at the heart.
(I once had a yellow lab too years ago who I loved very much. I still really miss him even though he has been gone over 10 years now)

It has been awhile since we visited. Thanks so much for checking in on Princess. I had to make her memoiral private for while due to some uninvited non critters "guests." So far her return to public life has been uneventful and I hope it remains so.

Wow, you have really worked on Molly's pages haven't you.  It is a wonderful and loving tribute.

I hope you summer has been pleasant and not too hot. Here inthe PNW it has been a cool summer and from what I hear from so many others, the furbabies and I are happy for it. Take care Skye and thank you so much for you GB post.

Hello Skye,

Thank you for visiting us-I was just thinking of you! I just read about Ruby I am so sorry for your loss. She was so young-it just doesn't seem fair. I lost Casper to nasal cancer he was my third cancer dog in 29 months. My heart is just broken. I try and stay busy-I am sorry I haven't been a better friend to you and everyone else-I am just so depressed that I don't come here and visit my babies or anyone elses. I have started  grief couseling-hoping this will help. The weather here is just awful in a severe drought-We have had rain here at our house twice since January. Temps have been anywhere from 100-103-miserable. Hope the weather is a little better in your area. Please tell your Mom and Dad I am so sorry for their loss. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Sending Hugs and Much Love, Kelly

How's Teddy and the other furbabies? Hope all is well with them.

Hi Skye,

It is great to hear from you. Thank you for your nice note. We did have a wonderful weekend, and went to a camping spot that was new to us and had a great time. It was at a small mountain lake that had a sectioned off swimming area with a nice sandy beach! It was wonderful to swim since it was so hot out, and we had such a nice, relaxing time. The only down side was the mosquitos, which despite all the Off spray, still managed to leave me with bites all over! Anyway, hope you are doing good, and have been able to get out and enjoy your summer. I do keep you, Teddy, and your parents in my thoughts often since the loss of Ruby Jean, and know this is an especially tough time since it has been so recent. Take care Skye, and try to stay cool! Hope you get some relief soon from all the heat. Sending big hugs to you, Teddy and Kyleigh... and of course, sweet Molly and Ruby.

Gina, Juji and Saada (Pete too)

Hi Skye. Thankyou so much for stopping by as I always enjoy visitors. Yes it certainly has been a hot and humid summer here so far. It has been hard on the shelter animals, especially the dogs as they love to go outside and run which I have not allowed them to do as it has just been too hot. I let them go in a small fenced in part of the grounds where I have kiddie pools around everywhere as well as the sprinkler going just to keep them cool while they play .

We were able to get away to cooler climate for a few days while I took a few days vacation. We drove out to the NWT. and just had a relaxing time which was great. I surely enjoyed the cooler temps as well. Have you taken a vacation this summer?

Wow! I see you did change your pages around. GREAT JOB! I will have to get up enough courage to do the same one day. I have not had much time to be on Critters this summer but hope to have more spare time in the near future.

I hope Teddy and Kyleigh are doing great and managing to keep cool in this awefully hot summer.I think all of the animals ,domestic and wild will be happy when we get a break from this extreme hot and humid summer.

Well take care and try and stay cool. Sending hugs your way as always.

P/S Thankyou for the Birthday wishes for KC.
