To believe in making wishes and have faith they can come true,
to believe that you can find some joy in everything you do.
To believe in giving gladly for no reason, just because, to believe in love...that's what it means to believe in Santa Claus.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2012 and heartfelt thanks for continuing to be a wonderful critters friend.

Luna smiles upon her freinds Miss Skye and precious Molly.
Luna jumps off her reindeer and starts to dig around in her sack as Molly looks on, all of a sudden she jumps up, "ah, I've got it", and gently places the tiny package under Miss Skye's head as she sleeps ... "filled with tiding of love and great joy", may you have it now and always ... remember we will always be with you! As Luna jumps back on the sleigh she notices Miss Molly making snow angels in the yard for her mom, then she gently walks up to her and gives her a kiss ... Miss Skye begins to smile ... Molly takes a deep breath and sighs, always with us Luna & her mom Nadine

“That special place in our hearts feels so empty at this time of year. But we realize, as time passes, that animals have a way of teaching us about loving, about loyalty, joy, and friendship. And whatever we've shared in their presence can never really be lost.”
We thank our furbabies for that and wish them a very . . .
MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!

Happy Holidays Skye and Molly. I very much appreciated you stopping by and wishing my dear little girl a "happy birthday" we both loved your visit. This holiday I hope both Indigo and Molly are chasing each other fighting over a x-mas toy. May both of you have a happy holiday!

Hi Skye and sweet Molly. I don't think I ever got here to thank you for you kind words on Misty's birthday. We were getting ready for a trip and had to stop responding. I don't remember where I stopped. LOL. Anyway, thank you for you visit and kind words. It is really appreciated.

Hi Skye... it was so good to see your post!!! Hope you are recovering from your sinus infection and that your foot is healing well. It has been fairly busy here with work, but that is usual for this time of year; and this past week have had quite a few last minute projects! Anyway, I need to start thinking about holiday shopping... it's getting really close. We have been getting some really cold weather here - in the mornings it has been in the low 20's.... brrrrrrr!! At least it's been sunny and warms up a little by the afternoon, but it is way too chilly for me. Juji likes to curl up by the heater and stay warm most of the time, we even bought her a new fleece coat for the cold weather, but she seems to be able to handle the cold better than me. Hope all is going well. Hugs to you, Teddy and Kyleigh, and of course, Molly!

Thank you for visiting Molly's memorial and for leaving your kind comments. I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your own beloved dog and of the fact that you are struggling to cope with the loss. You mentioned not having anyone to talk to about your feelings of loss -- I am very sorry to hear that. You sound like you wish that you did have such an outlet though. Just a suggestion - have you tried contacting The Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement (APLB)? They supposedly offer regularly scheduled bereavement chat rooms at least 5 days a week with moderators & assistants (which can be found on their website). According to their site, those who are deeply bereaved may also try and communicate with a moderator via email if necessary (also provided on the website). However, chatrooms (like anything on the internet) can have some drawbacks at times and might not be the best fit for everyone. If you have not already done so, I would suggest maybe contacting your vet's office (or perhaps several different vet offices) to see if any of them know of any pet bereavement support groups in your local area. There are many such pet bereavement support groups that run free of charge. Some pet grief support groups will advertise in local papers, while others do exist but will not advertise due to the cost of advertising. Your local area Hospice may also have knowledge of any pet bereavement support groups in your area as well since hospices deal with the area of grief. If you are not someone who feels comfortable speaking in a group setting, you can also seek out an individual grief counselor to work with if you feel you need the added support in order to help you with your healing. If you do pursue an individual grief counselor or therapist, I would just suggest that you try to find one that has at least some experience in dealing with pet loss.
Seth, I do hope these suggestions were helpful to you. I need to say that I am not an endorser or spokesperson for anything, and you can certainly take these suggestions with a grain of salt if you wish, but I wanted to try and offer you some possible help if I could. I wish you the very best as you journey towards healing. Thank you again for stopping by and visiting Molly's memorial -- please come back anytime.
Take Care & Best Wishes, Skye

hello. I just wanted to say that this memorial is really amazing. I have been really struggling to cope with the loss of my dog and reading this memorial has actually helped me. This memorial spoke to my heart. I think I will come back and reread it every once in awhile on days I need more support. I don't have many people to talk to about my loss who understand or who deeply care. I am very sorry you lost your Molly. Your love for her is beautifully illustrated in every page. R.I.P. Molly

Skye, thank you SO Much for the beautiful words of comfort you left for our Missy's first Angelversary. I read all about your Molly, and was so moved by her life and her last day with you. Surely, there is a Rainbow Bridge, and you were showered with so many signs that day. Our Missy died of congestive heart failure and for the last few days of her life, she had so much trouble breathing, that she couldn't use her voice. But, when our vets administered the final medication,, Missy suddenly looked upward to the heavens, and barked loudly several times, as if she were seeing someone she knew. I knew at that time that she was indeed crossing over the Rainbow Bridge, and that she was being reunited with our other sweet dog who'd died some years before, perhaps even seeing her own mom and siblings. It was a very moving moment, medically unexplainable by our vet. I believe in that Bridge, and am looking forward to seeing Missy again, just as you will be reunited with Molly someday. It's beautiful, and I was so comforted by reading Molly's Memorial. What a wonderful dog. And you're right, they teach us how to live. Because of Missy, we have been able to open our hearts and our home to five geriatric dogs from a rescue group. Because of the lessons Missy taught us, we are experiencing joy, despite our sorrow over her loss. Thanks again, so much, for your inspiring words to me. Love and hugs, Carol

Hi Skye! Hope your feeling better with your foot and your sinus. Just stopping by to wish you & your family and of course your fur kids a very blessed beautiful Thanksgiving!
Linda, Milo & Toni
On Thanksgiving Day we’re thankful for
Our blessings all year through,
For family we dearly love,
For good friends, old and new.
For sun to light and warm our days,
For stars that glow at night,
For trees of green and skies of blue,
And puffy clouds of white.
We’re grateful for our eyes that see
The beauty all around,
For arms to hug, and legs to walk,
And ears to hear each sound.
The list of all we’re grateful for
Would fill a great big book;
Our thankful hearts find new delights
Everywhere we look!

As a former milkweed whacker myself as a kid lol, I have to tell you that I just loved your paged titled "Memories, Milkweeds, & Missing You". The entire page really touched my heart so deeply that it actually brought me to tears, in a good way. It brought back some great memories and made me think of reuniting with my own dog one day. You have a healing way of writing and remembering your lost pet. This memorial is a true honor to a dog who clearly meant so much to you. I am glad I came upon it.

Hi Skye and precious Molly... Just wanted to stop by and say hello. So sorry to hear your respiratory infection is still hanging on since Sept. Hope you recover from that soon! Also, I can understand why you need to leave Teddy at your parents considering how he is with your crutches! Hope he and Lexie are doing good and having fun while they are together.
Anyway, I had a chance to read through your beautiful new page "Memories, Milkweeds, & Missing You." Wow, I love your story, it is so descriptive I could imagine it clearly. What wonderful memories. I'm sure Molly would have the time of her life running through a field like that. What fun!! Hope you are feeling better today and wishing you a nice, relaxing weekend. Take care. Hugs. Gina
