Awww Skye, thank you so much for commenting on Heidi's day.  It's been 3 years, but it was still such a hard day.  Other things in life are difficult right now, and on that day, I had a hard time coping.  I really appreciate that you care so much! Your "Molly" is gorgeous and she had such a GREAT name!!

Thank you for the birthday wishes for Raven. May your memories of Molly bring you much comfort. She was clearly beloved all the days of her life with you.

I know there is no such thing as a bad dog. But some dogs still seem to stand out from the others. Molly, no doubt, was one of those dogs. May God bless and keep her. And thank you for your kind words.

Thank you for your kind comments on my Baxter's 1st Angel-versary. I miss him so much. Your molly is beautiful and probably having so much fun over the Rainbow Bridge with my Baxter. I can see them romping and playing together. God Bless them both :-)

To Bill:
I am so deeply sorry to hear of the tragic loss of your 2 precious Labs.  My heart goes out to you.  Thank you very much for taking the time to read Molly's memorial - I do appreciate it.  I am glad to hear that you were touched by it.  I wish you the very best of luck in your pursuit of finding a new Labrador companion to share your life with.  I am sure you will find a new beloved friend who is right for you and who will fill your heart and your life with joy and love once again, just like Duke & Delilah did.  And no doubt your beloved Delilah & Duke will be watching over you along the way, as you will always be in their hearts just as they will always be in yours.  I send you my very best wishes as you journey towards healing and embark on your new life with a new canine friend by your side.  Take Care.

Hello Sky.  First I want to offer my sympathy for the loss of your beautiful Molly. I am so sorry and I understand the loss you feel for your friend. I have read every beauitiful page of your memorial and it is amazing. It gave me an opportunity to cry and to think and to even chuckle a few times at the funny pages and remember some happier times. A few months ago I lost both of my Labs, Duke and Delilah, in an arson fire. My dogs were my whole life and I have been devastated by their senseless loss. I am lost without them but I had vowed that I could never get another dog again because no dog could ever fill their shoes and because I did not feel that I could ever love another dog as much as I love them. But after reading your memorial to Molly I think I have changed my mind. I see how deeply you love Molly and how close you were and how terribly you still miss her, yet you were still willing to save the life of another dog who needed you and risk loving again. I did not expect to learn any lessons from reading someone's pet memorial but I think you have taught me that love is something that is meant to continue and to continue to be passed on. That it is truly better to risk loving and losing again than to never love at all. And that sometimes when you risk loving again healing can start to occur. I know Duke and Delilah would have wanted me to get another dog and not be alone. They would want me to stop feeling guilty and sad and to try and move on with my life and live again. They would want me to have another loving dog at my side to go camping with, to hike with, to fish with, to swim with, to ride in the truck with, and to just hang out with at the end of a long day. And so I have decided to look into rescuing another Lab who needs a good home. I think it will be the beginning of a whole new life for me and that new dog, a fresh new start. I will ALWAYS love and miss my other dogs, but thank you for giving me the courage to love again. Thank you for showing me through your words that I am not alone in how much I loved my pets and miss them. It is good to see that there are others who understand that love and that severe loss. Through this memorial you have given a very sad and lonely man one very important thing. HOPE. Thank you.
Sincerely,  Bill Carter

Thank you so much for remembering my Deputy Dog on his brithday. Your Molly is so beautiful and what a lovely tribute to a wonderful friend and companion. I'm crying as I read about her. I hope she and Deputy are hanging out together at the Bridge, along with my BooBoo too.

Hi Skye. I just wanted to stop by and say Hi and hope all is well out your way. The leaves are starting to turn colors here so I guess it will soon be fall. That is my favourite time of year. I think the trees look so beautiful in all their different colors. I just looked at Ruby's page. You have created a beautiful page for her as well as sweet Molly.

Take care and know you are thought of often.

Good Morning Skye and Ms Molly!

Thank you for checking in on me- I am doing ok. I have been busy with my daughter's baby shower the last few weeks trying to make everything perfect for her. She is a  high risk pregnancy and I just wanted things to be special for her-due to the fact that she may not be able to have more children. How are you and the family doing? How's the weather-hope you are not experiencing any of the flooding. We need the rain so much of Texas is on fire-we have several fires in our area but nothing close to us. Fall is here for a few days it was in the sixtys this morning but that is suppose to change in a couple of days back to hot temps and no rain. Hope you had a Wonderful Labor Day! Stay Safe, Sending Hugs and Much Love, Kelly

Thank you so much for your kind words on Abbey's Angelversary.  It was really really tough, I still miss her very deeply.  I feel like she was the glue in our household, and since she has been gone, nothing has been the same.  We have just gone through this awfull string of bad luck since she has been gone, it is very diffiult to explain.  Your comments are so greatly appreciated.  Thank you so so much !

Dearest Skye and precious Molly ... so wonderful to hear from you.  Hoping all is well out your way.  Things here are just dry.  We've had some rain .. but not as much as I'd like .. but will take what we get.

Yes, pretty soon Fall will be upon us .. then winter and the shoveling of snow.  I've been trying to "strengthen" my back so that I do not injure myself .. but I'm sure I'll do something .... always happens.  You know, ain't that youngster any more ... hahaha

Know that you are cherish and your friendship means the world to me, Skye.  Know I keep you in my prayers always.  Take good care of yourself and your furkids ... and know you have friends here in Santa Fe, New Mexico, who cherish your friendship.  Sending hugs always.

Hi Skye-

Thanks for stopping by and the wishes for Sam. Also, thanks for your kind words about this hurricane. Unfortunately we are still without power since yesterday. Thank God we have a generator, which the hose was broken at first but we fixed it. There are trees down all over my street also and they are saying the power will be out at least a few more days. You dont realize how much you use power until you dont have it. At least no one was hurt, what are you going to do right? Thanks again for stoppig by & cross your hands I get some power by tomorrow maybe I need to see the light again in my house, lol.

Hugs to you. Have a great night, Linda!

Hello Skye et all,

Thank you for visiting Kobe's memorial on his first angelversary. The poem you posted is beautiful, and am having a difficult time typing because the tears keep flowing. Your words eloquently summed up feelings felt every day since temporarily becoming seperated from Kobe. Hope that he learned to use his wings from Molly. She seems like a great tutor. God Bless you Skye, and thank you for rescuing those earthbound angels that were about to be put down. Be well. Stay safe. Will never forget your lovely words.

Skye and Molly (et all),

Please accept this belated thank you for the kind words you posted on Timmie's 2nd angelversary. Timmie, Molly, and all the companions that chose to share this life with us are waiting patiently whole/hale and watching over us on the Island of Brotherly/Sisterly Love. Waiting for the joyful moment when all will be reunited, and to cross over with the purest love and truest sense of companionship the rainbow bridge that lies there. God Bless.

Dearest Skye and precious Molly and the rest of the gang ... just wanted to say "HI" and to wish you a grand weekend.  Hoping all is well out your way.

Things here are "chugging" along .. and getting some rain .. but will take what we can.  No more fires in this area .. which I am so thankful for .. that smoke was horrible.

Sending you and your furkids many hugs and kisses.

Dear Syke,

I want to thank you very much for the encouraging and uplifting post you left on Pepper's guestbook.  I know you must have loved your baby Molly very much cause your post was filled with so much compassion.  Your words helped me to feel better about my love for my baby Pepper.  I was so sad but pet owners like you helped me to get through a really low period.  I miss my little girl very much.

I want to also thank you for wishing my little girl a happy birthday.

You are so very kind and I hope you will always hold your special thoughts of your darling Molly near and dear to your heart.

Thanks, again so much!!!

I forgot to add my sympathy to you and your family for the recent loss of your beautiful Ruby too.

08-24-2011 4:22 PM -- By: Kara Lee,  From: Colorado Springs

Hello. A friend of mine had seen your memorial and referred it to me since I recently lost my own yellow lab and have been struggling. A lot of my friends and family cant understand why I cant get past my grief. I have read the entire memorial and it is so beautiful. of course it made me shed many tears reading it but some pages also made me smile reading about the funny and silly things you and Molly shared together. I can tell you have a good sense of humor. It is so nice to know that someone else understands how I feel about my lab. She was my whole world! I think your memorial has taught me that you have to cling to the happy funny memories in order to start to heal. I think you also show that it is the best way to honor her too. I am very sorry for the loss of your beautiful Molly but I am very glad I came here to read her memorial. Thank you for reminding me to remember and cherish all the GOOD memories and not to dwell on the bad. I hope your Molly and my Jackie are running and playing together in heaven now.

Hello Skye

Your Molly is so beautiful. What beautiful loving eyes. You have created such a wonderful memorial to her here. I've been reading (and crying) for quite a while. I hope one day to add more to Leya's but I need to get to a more positive place first I think.

I wanted to thank you for taking time to stop by and visit Leya on her 1st Angelversary. It was a hard day for me but it really did help to know others were thinking of her. Thank you so much for all your kind words and wishes...

To Gerry:
Thanks so much.  Your kind words and your visits are always very welcomed and greatly appreciated.  Thank you for always stopping by to check out Molly's memorial.  I am really grateful for each time you stop by, as it helps to keep Molly's beautiful memory alive even more.  I actually thought of you the other day, as our local rescue group had a pretty little ragdoll cat in their care.  Our family once had a gorgeous ragdoll cat named Madison (Maddy) years ago.  He was the silliest, quirkiest, and most sweet-natured cat ever.  I remember how my nephew (who was a toddler at the time) would just lay on top of the cat and use him as a pillow, and that crazy cat would just patiently let him.  Madison also had a quirky habit of hugging the door frames and then he would suddenly spring up and down along the door casing like he was a kangaroo who had lost its mind...LOL.  No one ever understood why he did that (for attention probably), but it would always make us laugh.  It was his own trademark nutty thing that he always did, and I will always remember it with a smile.  So,my thoughts are with you and your precious Blackie.  I'd like to think that Blackie and Maddy have teamed up beyond the Rainbow Bridge and are having an absolute blast getting into all sorts of fun mischief.  Thanks again for stopping by -- it is much appreciated!
Best Wishes to You Always,

Hi Skye,

Well, here I am again lol, just popping in to have a quick read and you never fail to amaze me , it is a wonderful experience getting a glimpse of your beautiful dog, Molly.

I truly beleve that her love for you is so great that she had to show herself to you and the rainbow after that experience confirms it. After my experience with Blackie sending that younger cat to me, meowing at my glass sliding door just to tell me thank you and not to worry shows that our love bond for the pets we dearly love is very strong. Yes, Skye just embrace the forever love Molly has for you and she is telling you this in the best way she can.

Best regards,

Gerry & Blackie
