Hi Skye and sweet adorable Molly: Thank you for stopping and for thinking of us. I remember the first time I laid eyes on my baby girl, Misty Rose was the first name to pop into my mind. I thought it was a little unusual, but since have heard of a lot of them. As I am sure you know, even after a year I still look down when opening the front door to see if she is peeking around to the door at me. I still want to call to her to give her raw potatoes. I miss her so.
Again, thanks for stopping.

I lost my Molly too a little over a year ago and still struggle to get over the heartache. I know you understand my sense of loss and sorrow. Does it ever get better? It is obvious that you had an amazing bond with your Molly and so I am sure her loss must have been devastating. But I can tell you have a great sense of humor and you try to focus on the happy and funny times together instead of on the sad stuff in order to cope even though I can tell you are still really missing your Molly too. I am very inspired by your positive attitude and I will keep that in mind. It is just so hard. I have not gotten another dog yet and dont know if I ever will since none would ever hold a candle to my Molly. It looks like you plan to add some memorial pages here in the future so I would like to bookmark this memorial and check back in the future if you dont mind. Thanks for listening.

Hey Skye, just wanted to stop in to wish you an awesome weekend before we head off for a weekend of boating with the mutts. I'm only bringing Brutus since Tarzan gets too nervous and jerky on the boat and I just figure I'll leave Jackson home with him to keep him company. Jackson may be a handful at times, but Tarzan is my squirrely one! Brutus is my right hand man though, can always count on him to keep the boys in check. My brother is going to bring Emma for her first voyage on the water which should be fun. Both he and she are doing great. She has really grown a lot in a month and he seems so much happier. Even at this young age, Emma has some mannerisms of Cleo so they are a great match. It would figure we are running late, I am waiting for him to get over here with his precious cargo so we can leave. He is probably over at his house playing with her! Anyway wish us luck today! Old Brutus loves Emma and she likes to nuzzle right up with him. He has a very calming effect on her so I think all will be fine. I hope you do something fun and exciting this weekend though it is awfully hot so be careful. If we weren't going out to the water I wouldn't even leave the house! So be cool! Take Care, Steve

Hello Skye and Molly,
Thank you for your visit, Hope you and Teddy are feeling better! the weather here has been awful also. we had terrible storms and a day of cool weather. I need to keep up with the lawns and gardens as my husband is not able too. got the pea stone down around the house for the plants now that was a job I know I know now that age is creeping up.
we now have the cutest little rabbit hanging around for being wild he quite tame got a picture of him but keeping my eyes on him as he like the flowers
yes if you have a bear around you will have to keep a good watch on stuff you put out for the birds and squirrels.
Around here we keep our feeder in at niter and even keep a watchfully eye out during the day. we have a huge bear pass Thu here every so often they have him est at about 4 hundred pounds quite the site let me tell you!.
Our elderly neighbor a few years back called us all upset as she heard some noise out near her back deck only to turn her back light on to be face to face with the bear we heard her screaming in our house of course she put him on a run right Thu our back yard
That was always my fear with Kia a run with a bear or skunk , I think the skunk was my worst fear..... Have a great weekend and try and stay cool. Deb and Kia
Thank you for the comments on the garden page still working on it and her memorial gardens will need some tuning in the fall . some of the flowers need to be rearranged

Hi Skye! Glad to hear things are going better for Teddy, that will be such a relief to get him on the right track with the diet and getting to feeling better. We are having very warm temps here again, and tomorrow it's supposed to be about 103 or so. Juji is a couch potato in this weather lol, but perks up in the evening when it gets cooler. I'm definitely not a fan of this heat either, and walking the dog when it's this hot is out of the question. Unfortunately, she dislikes water and would never go into a pool. Next weekend we are taking a trip to the ocean, so we will see how she likes that, it will be her first time (at least with us). I'm sure she'll love running on the beach like Saada & Jessica did, but not sure what she'll think about the water... I'm guessing the waves will startle her a bit! Saada didn't like water either, but she LOVED the ocean, and would bite at the waves, it was so cute.
Hope you have a nice and relaxing weekend Skye and try and stay cool too!! Big hugs to you, Teddy, Ruby and Miss Molly

Thank you for such beautiful words on Yukons 3rd Angelversary. I miss him so much as I know you understand. Your memorial is beautifully written for Molly! What a kind spirit, you can see it in her eyes. Thank you again for taking the time to write today, it means more than I can say!

Hello Skye. How are you? It has been awhile but I wanted to stop by Molly's memorial to say hello before heading off to bed. Hope you are having a good summer. I just got Jarvis back from the vet after having his teeth cleaned. He ended up having to stay an extra day and a half for observation due to a reaction to the anethesia. I was so worried about him but he is ok. Got Hoots a nice marker. I really like it and it makes me feel some comfort I guess. I hope your furkids are all doing well. Nice job you have done on Molly's memorial. She would be very proud. Take care and have a good weekend.

Hi Skye. I just wanted to stop by and say Hello as i just got back from vacation and am trying to catch up with my visits. We had a great vacation, just visiting friends and family that i have not seen in years. The weather cooperated for the most part but we did get some extreme hot days, which i don't like. Thank goodness for air conditioning.LOL. Back here at home they got much needed rain ,almost too much. The lawn and weeds loved it anyway.LOL. I am happy my neighbors looked after the yard as i would have needed to get some cows to mow my lawn when i got back. LOL.
I just got done looking at precious Molly's pages. I see you have been working and adding to them. JUST BEAUTIFUL. I am still trying to find time to work on Luke's pages, hopefully soon.
I hope all is well with you and that you are enjoying the summer.Take care.
and a BIG HUG for your beautiful angel, Molly.

Glad you received the emails. I hope that site helps a bit for you. They are very nice people & will call you & answer any question. If you look on the picture blog on that site the woman Holly did a tribute for Milo. It's a later post though. Anyway, we never had the tornados but horrific storms. Well, have a good night & stay cool. Glad you got the link.

Skye: Thank you so so much for offering such comforting words. It meant more to me than you will ever know. I have been having such a difficult time dealing this loss, but things you said definitely helped. I was inspired by your positive attitude in Molly's memorial pages even though it is very obvious that you miss her greatly. Molly's tribute is wonderful, and I will stop by again from time to time to see if you have added any more pages. Thank you again for your kindness. It is always good to know someone understands. Take Care.

The name of the place is called Paw Healer in CA. If you google it you will see the website. They helped Milo tremendously and are all holistic. Very good and not expensive. Hope you receive this one.
Have a great day! :)

Hopefully you will receive it by tomorrow, perhaps it is the storms. It was just some info for you about a website that I used for Milo that is holistic & very good. I was thinking of Teddy. They diagnose pets problems & they actually make holistic treatments & are not expensive. The vet said I could use them with Milo's meds & they worked wonders. I wish I had him on it earlier. Anyway, I hope you get it. If not I wiil try to repost to you tomorrow.

I tried to post you you twice. I'm not sure why it didn't go through. Just wondering why it never posted. Did you ever receive any posts? Very strange, we are having very bad storms here so I don't know if that is it.

Dear Skye, thank you so much for your kind thoughts on the 3rd angelversary of my Klaus. Even though it has been 3 years, his loss is still felt as we still miss him so much. I tried my best not to dwell on the sadness, and tried to focus on other things, but it was hard. Klaus will always be in our hearts just as your sweet Molly girl will forever remain in yours. What a beautiful and silly girl she was. Reminds me alot of my Klaus too. Molly was so blessed to have had a long and wonderful life with you.
We too recently adopted a mutt, which we named Ziggy, who was on his last day at a high kill shelter and he sure has livened up our place! We are glad to see him so happy in our home after being in that terrible place for 2 months! I know Klaus would have loved him.
Take care and thanks again for thinking of us.

Hi Skye, Hope today finds you feeling better. You and precious Teddy have been through quite a bit these last couple of weeks. It is so hard when our fur kids have health issues, but I am glad the tests didn't find anything serious. Hope you find a diet that works out well for him, I know that can take a lot of time and experimenting though. Have gone through that with Juji, but her issue was allergies. Your story about the poor, sweet Beagle girl absolutely broke my heart. I cannot understand how anyone could abandon that little girl, and towards the end of her life, after she had given so many years of unconditional love. That is so sad, it also makes me very angry about her owners, I cannot understand that mentality. That was so wonderful that you took "Sweet Pea" in and helped her, even if just for that short time, just to give her love and reassurance. I know our angels are looking after her now at Rainbow Bridge. Wishing you well Skye, and sending positive thoughts for Teddy too!! Big Hugs, Gina

I guess it didn't go through because I gave you an email link, I have no idea. Anyway, for Teddy google Paw Healer. They are in CA, and holisic which I used with Milo. Vet approved it. They diagnose everything & are great. I wish I knew about them earlier. They are great really.
Hope you get this. We are getting like tornado warnings now.

I hope you and your sweet pets are holding up okay during this very, very hot summer! Just thought I would drop by Molly's memorial page to let you know I was thinking of ya. We are doing okay despite the challenges. The pups are huge now and the 2 of them together get so wound up that they sometime knock over the grandbabies like bowling pins. Now my house has baby gates and puppy gates everywhere! We did have to take one of the pups to the vet 2 weeks ago after he ate one of the grandbabies binkies (pacifier). That was very expensive but the dog is fine now. Not sure how much longer my daughter plans to stay with us. But I can tell you that it is never a dull moment at our house! I hope things are much more serene where you are. LOL. Well enjoy the rest of the summer - it has flown by. Take Care, Sue

Thanks for stopping by. You have been in my thoughts as well with your Teddy. I truly hope all is ok with him. I know how that is when our friends are not well. It really affects you & you want to be alone and that's all that matters. I know I am like that anyway. But Teddy and you are in my prayers and I hope he is better now. I loved 35mm camera's as well. I didn't know if they still developed them. Like I said I just dropped it off at the Walgreens & they did. But I am happy to have seen the new pictures of my mother & Sam on them. She was very close to Sam and passed 6 months after him. She knew Milo only 3 months but babied him as well. I miss all three of them dearly. I know there are more pictures of Milo. I looked last night through boxes in the basement. still no luck. I will find them though hopefully. I put some pictures of Toni on Milo's page Milo's brother Sam. She is a very good girl & does help me alot. Anyway, hope you stay cool. Today is a little better here. For the past 5 days it has been so humid the doors would stick when opening them. Yuck!
Have a great week and hugs to you, that beautiful girl Molly & sweet boy Teddy!

I wish to offer my sympathy for the loss of your beautiful Labrador. In the past year, I lost both of my beloved 13 year old Labs, 7 months apart. My two boys were litter mates and I had them since they were pups. They were my best friends and my entire world. After reading your memorial, I can tell you know how special these dogs can be and I can tell that you too shared such a deep friendship with a special Lab in your life. I want to tell you that although your memorial really pulled at my heartstrings, I found it to be really inspiring and I will incorporate some of your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs that you have shared in order to help in my own healing. I want to thank you for that. I hope you are right and our dogs are now running free, happy, and healthy in a beautiful peaceful place. And I definitely hope we do get to see them again someday. Again, my sympathy for your loss. Take care.
