Skye: Thank you so so much for offering such comforting words. It meant more to me than you will ever know. I have been having such a difficult time dealing this loss, but things you said definitely helped. I was inspired by your positive attitude in Molly's memorial pages even though it is very obvious that you miss her greatly. Molly's tribute is wonderful, and I will stop by again from time to time to see if you have added any more pages. Thank you again for your kindness. It is always good to know someone understands. Take Care.

The name of the place is called Paw Healer in CA. If you google it you will see the website. They helped Milo tremendously and are all holistic. Very good and not expensive. Hope you receive this one.
Have a great day! :)

Hopefully you will receive it by tomorrow, perhaps it is the storms. It was just some info for you about a website that I used for Milo that is holistic & very good. I was thinking of Teddy. They diagnose pets problems & they actually make holistic treatments & are not expensive. The vet said I could use them with Milo's meds & they worked wonders. I wish I had him on it earlier. Anyway, I hope you get it. If not I wiil try to repost to you tomorrow.

I tried to post you you twice. I'm not sure why it didn't go through. Just wondering why it never posted. Did you ever receive any posts? Very strange, we are having very bad storms here so I don't know if that is it.

Dear Skye, thank you so much for your kind thoughts on the 3rd angelversary of my Klaus. Even though it has been 3 years, his loss is still felt as we still miss him so much. I tried my best not to dwell on the sadness, and tried to focus on other things, but it was hard. Klaus will always be in our hearts just as your sweet Molly girl will forever remain in yours. What a beautiful and silly girl she was. Reminds me alot of my Klaus too. Molly was so blessed to have had a long and wonderful life with you.
We too recently adopted a mutt, which we named Ziggy, who was on his last day at a high kill shelter and he sure has livened up our place! We are glad to see him so happy in our home after being in that terrible place for 2 months! I know Klaus would have loved him.
Take care and thanks again for thinking of us.

Hi Skye, Hope today finds you feeling better. You and precious Teddy have been through quite a bit these last couple of weeks. It is so hard when our fur kids have health issues, but I am glad the tests didn't find anything serious. Hope you find a diet that works out well for him, I know that can take a lot of time and experimenting though. Have gone through that with Juji, but her issue was allergies. Your story about the poor, sweet Beagle girl absolutely broke my heart. I cannot understand how anyone could abandon that little girl, and towards the end of her life, after she had given so many years of unconditional love. That is so sad, it also makes me very angry about her owners, I cannot understand that mentality. That was so wonderful that you took "Sweet Pea" in and helped her, even if just for that short time, just to give her love and reassurance. I know our angels are looking after her now at Rainbow Bridge. Wishing you well Skye, and sending positive thoughts for Teddy too!! Big Hugs, Gina

I guess it didn't go through because I gave you an email link, I have no idea. Anyway, for Teddy google Paw Healer. They are in CA, and holisic which I used with Milo. Vet approved it. They diagnose everything & are great. I wish I knew about them earlier. They are great really.
Hope you get this. We are getting like tornado warnings now.

I hope you and your sweet pets are holding up okay during this very, very hot summer! Just thought I would drop by Molly's memorial page to let you know I was thinking of ya. We are doing okay despite the challenges. The pups are huge now and the 2 of them together get so wound up that they sometime knock over the grandbabies like bowling pins. Now my house has baby gates and puppy gates everywhere! We did have to take one of the pups to the vet 2 weeks ago after he ate one of the grandbabies binkies (pacifier). That was very expensive but the dog is fine now. Not sure how much longer my daughter plans to stay with us. But I can tell you that it is never a dull moment at our house! I hope things are much more serene where you are. LOL. Well enjoy the rest of the summer - it has flown by. Take Care, Sue

Thanks for stopping by. You have been in my thoughts as well with your Teddy. I truly hope all is ok with him. I know how that is when our friends are not well. It really affects you & you want to be alone and that's all that matters. I know I am like that anyway. But Teddy and you are in my prayers and I hope he is better now. I loved 35mm camera's as well. I didn't know if they still developed them. Like I said I just dropped it off at the Walgreens & they did. But I am happy to have seen the new pictures of my mother & Sam on them. She was very close to Sam and passed 6 months after him. She knew Milo only 3 months but babied him as well. I miss all three of them dearly. I know there are more pictures of Milo. I looked last night through boxes in the basement. still no luck. I will find them though hopefully. I put some pictures of Toni on Milo's page Milo's brother Sam. She is a very good girl & does help me alot. Anyway, hope you stay cool. Today is a little better here. For the past 5 days it has been so humid the doors would stick when opening them. Yuck!
Have a great week and hugs to you, that beautiful girl Molly & sweet boy Teddy!

I wish to offer my sympathy for the loss of your beautiful Labrador. In the past year, I lost both of my beloved 13 year old Labs, 7 months apart. My two boys were litter mates and I had them since they were pups. They were my best friends and my entire world. After reading your memorial, I can tell you know how special these dogs can be and I can tell that you too shared such a deep friendship with a special Lab in your life. I want to tell you that although your memorial really pulled at my heartstrings, I found it to be really inspiring and I will incorporate some of your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs that you have shared in order to help in my own healing. I want to thank you for that. I hope you are right and our dogs are now running free, happy, and healthy in a beautiful peaceful place. And I definitely hope we do get to see them again someday. Again, my sympathy for your loss. Take care.

Thank you so much for your kind and encouraging words. It helps just to know I am not alone on the journey. I go for my preop appointment today, have my surgery Thursday then Bailey goes for hers next Monday. I wil be anxious about Bailey until I know all went well and she has recovered.
I know what you mean about our kids holding on. Our fur babies' spirits and will are so strong, as is their love. Princess held on for an additional 10 months when I was told she had only a few weeks or months. Our lab Marquisea held on for over a year. I know Princess stayed well past her time since she knew how much I needed her. I am sure Princess will be waiting for little Sweet Pea. How very sad and so typical of much of the human race. Fortunately there are wonderful people too. Thank you again Ske for stopping by. I will post updates as I have them.

A sweet, little Beagle will be coming to join you this morning, so please be looking for her, okay? You'll know her by her slow, painful gait, her labored breathing that causes her to grunt terribly, and also by her sweet doggie smile that she still manages despite it all somehow. Her life and mine came together 3 days ago when I discovered her, frightened and abandoned, on my front doorstep on Friday in the middle of a heat wave with no food or water. She's an old girl and obviously she had been someone's house dog, not an outdoor dog, judging by the way that she frantically pawed at two of my doors trying to get inside the house. There she was on my doorstep, repeatedly smearing a severely arthritic muddy paw on the glass window of my door as she peered in at me, so panicked and confused -- You see, she had so devotedly given her owner an entire lifetime's worth of unconditional love, and she could not understand why her owner would now repay her for that love and devotion by just dumping her & abandoning her once she came to the end of her life, when she perhaps needed them most. Not every dog is as lucky as you were, Sweet Girl. I tried my very best to do what I could to help her, and to at least show her some love in the short time we were together -- just hoping and praying that somehow she would remember that she was loved as she left this world. So, please look out for this sweet little Beagle girl. She will be coming. Her time at the shelter ran out. No one claimed her. No one adopted her. And sadly, I simply could not keep her myself, as I have two other needy rescues of my own that I am trying to care for. Although I have plenty of room in my heart, there just is no room at the Inn, (or room in my wallet to take care of yet another furbaby with medical problems at this time). Poor little old Beagle girl. It has broken my heart.... as I know someone definitely broke hers. But at least I know now she will no longer be suffering. So, please comfort her and help her across that Rainbow Bridge, Molly Girl -- and I know once she gets across that bridge she will be transformed back to her former youthful and healthy glory, and never again will she ever know loneliness or fear... only LOVE and JOY! By the way, I named her "Sweet Pea" due to her loving disposition; the shelter renamed her "Queenie"; but I am sure she would just be happy to have you call her "friend". :)
I LOVE YOU!
Your Old Pal,

Hi Skye & sweet Molly:
I have been thinking of you two girls a lot lately. Hope you are doing well Skye. It sure has been a very, very hot summer, especially for our poor Pepper who is still with us. Thank you for asking about her. You have a big heart to remember us. Please keep her in your prayers for us. She is our whole world. Hope your babies are doing well. Be careful in this hot weather. Take care & God bless.

Hi Skye & sweet Molly-
Just stopping by to say Hi and hope you have a great weekend. I also wanted to let you know about those pictures that Walgreens lost. They found them like 3 days later & there was no Milo on the roll but it was a great roll of film, It had pictures of my Mom who passed & also of Sam, my first dog before Milo, so I am glad I did find that roll. It brought back great memories. I did get another dog after Milo. It's funny I don't know why I went into that store that soon after Milo, but I did. The girls in the store kept putting this puppy in the pen that reminded me of Milo (they didn't know my story) & I said to them I really am not interested in purchasing a dog just looking. The dog really looked so much like Milo. As I was walking out I seen this dog at the very end. It was a girl also, which I had not had since I was little and it was a unique looking dog. The name they had on it was Cinnamon. I asked to see her and I immediatley liked her personality. They said she had been stubborn with other people who looked at her. I renamed her Toni. I hated the name Cinnamon. Don't know why, she reminds me of a Toni. But she is a Pembroke Welsch Corgi. Nothing I would ever think of buying, something about her I liked. She has helped me alot & is a great trooper and believe it or not has alot of Milo's mannerism, even with her little feet the way she kicks. It's odd, but I purchased Milo like 3 days after Sam had passed and he cecame the best friend I ever had known. You never know. But I really do like her alot and she is a very smart girl. Well anyway, have a great night & stay cool. The humidity here, even now is unreal.
-Hugs to you & Molly-

am in tears skye.WHy would someone dump any pet "friend" like that? when people do that it angers me deeply. excuses they give "oh well we are moving cant take him" then dont move is my motto. they give and give and then get tossed onto a curb. this is why my trust in people is very low. only people trusting is on critters because we all care about our families. thank you and bless you skye for bring this poor thing in and helping. we love you

Hi Skye and precious Molly and Teddy! So sorry to hear Teddy has been unwell for awhile, hope whatever it is gets resolved. I know how those tests and vet visits can really add up, but I hope with all the diagnostic work that was done they find out what is going on!! it's always worrisome when the fur kids get sick like that. But I know he is in good hands, you take wonderful care of him, and I'm sure he knows how loved very he is. Sounds like you are having a heat wave where you are at too. It was 103 here yesterday, and today was 100. We are supposed to remain this hot until next week. I find this heat so draining, but thank goodness we have AC!! Only stay outside to water the poor plants, they really don't do well when it's this hot. Take care Skye, and sending positive thoughts for sweet Teddy. Love and hugs to you both, Gina
