I know all too well this deep love for a dog that you write about. I can feel it in every page. And I have been there too. I can only hope that someday we will see our faithful friends who we loved so much again. I sure hope so. For those people who do not understand the strong love people have for their pets, I truly feel sorry for them. They are missing out on one of God's greatest blessings, I am convinced of it.  It is one blessing I will always be thankful that I received. A beautiful memorial to your beautiful dog. Take care.

Hello Skye and sweet angel Miss Molly! Thank you for visiting, and hope you had a good weekend too. We went camping for a few days, I couldn't believe we were actually going as the weather was not supposed to be great. Saturday I almost froze... lol, but Sunday and Monday were very nice and much warmer. That story about your "Pete" sounds so much like our jay. We have other birds around, but only Pete will come close to us. It is getting to be so funny with him, because every time I go outside, he follows me around begging for peanuts! I leave them inside, otherwise he would probably have a whole bag taken in a day. He hides most of them though and eats them later. It always amazes me that he can remember where he put them. Hope you have a good week also, nice that it is a short one!! A big hug to you and Teddy.

Hope you are having better weather now. It's hot, humid, and miserable here! We went straight from winter to summer that fast! lol! Hope you had a Great Memorial Day and week-end! Talk to you soon. Sending Hugs and Much Love, Kelly and Jed

Carole -- words simply can not express how deeply touched I am by your beautiful guestbook entry below.  Thank you for taking the time to write it, and thank you so very much for taking the time to actually read Molly's entire memorial.  I cannot tell you what that means to me -- and to Molly too, I am sure.  I am greatly appreciative of all of your very sweet and kind words.  I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Hello Skye, hello Miss Molly of Tides Edge...Molly-Pops, Great Molly-Lama...just Molly. (luv all the nickies.) Twinkle Toes (luv how she got the nickname. The picture of her sleeping with her toes curled up is adorable. I read through your entire memorial...and I am speechless. You were such a wonderful sister to Molly, and her parents...well, what more can I say? What a blessing you all were to each other.

You know Skye, a lot of people do not take the time to read our entire tributes. They are missing out on s-o-o-o much. I always read every page of every tribute because it makes me feel like I "took the time to smell the flowers" just like Molly was doing on her “Wonderful World” page. “Good Golly Miss Molly” what a cute puppy you were!

I love the story about Lilly where you said, “And even though Lilly’s kitten years were rather torturous for me – (as her favorite pastime was to leap onto me like some crazed little ninja and then hang from my neck by her scissory little claws and proceed to viciously bite my neck like a little piranha) – I still always admired her fighting spirit.” I used to have five cats, and as we said goodbye, I began adding doggies until I had eight (sometimes more temporarily.) I remember the kitty years like it was yesterday.

...so Teddy got your Easter Bunny Ears and Reindeer Antlers huh? He sure is a handsome fella! Looks kind funny in those pink ears though doesn’t he girl? Ruby Jean doesn’t get it though...silly girl.

Sadly I just said goodbye to my boy Seville April 2nd, after fourteen fabulous years, and then my Buster on April 24th. I am very sensitive about the “month we share”, as I also said goodbye to my beautiful Labrador Angel Ebony April 21, 2007. Ebony was born on November 15, 1995. My heart fills with joy thinking that another baby puppy named Molly was born just five short days before Ebony. You’ve both stopped by to visit her, and we thank you!!! My little boy ShabbaLou left “for a while” June 2008, and then MaggieMae (my Golden/Chow) girl went on her final journey in 2008. I’ve had a tough three years. I’d do it all over again for all the love and joy (even through the terrible twos) I’ve received in return.

Tears are flowing freely my friends, as I write to you all...remembering my "kids" that have gone to meet Molly this past three years....one each year since 2007, and then the real punch came...two just last month (one before and one after Ebony's 3rd angelday. I have four still here with me thank God!

Skye, I also have Cherokee heritage. Just a pinch, but I have the blood-line as well. Salute! What an absolutely beautiful tribute to a "real queen!" Molly’s pictures, music and your “heart-felt” words are stunning, and affected me more than I can write in words alone...there just aren’t enough to put in writing the right way. I know you understand. I am so glad I stopped by this afternoon. You have no idea how desperately I needed to let go of the ocean of tears I released while reading Molly’s memorial. They have helped wash away the extremely deep grief that shadowed over me all day. I woke up in a gloom this morning and now, thanks to you, Molly and her mom and dad, I am lighter.

I am so sorry I missed your recent second angel-day pretty Molly. I am sure there was quite a celebration. I was preparing for my goodbye to my little Buster boy...nothing was normal, and I have not visited Critters a lot since he became sick last December 24th. I saw on your birthday page that you had the nickname Buttercup. Well, that was one of my Buster boy’s nicknames too.

Keep ringin’ those chimes Molly girl. We know you are never far away. All of you beautiful angels are just a heartbeat away. Oh, by the way Skye, I “do believe.” Well, I think I’ve gone on now long enough...although I could probably write a novel about you Molly and I never even got to meet you. See how you incredibly touch our lives...all around the world? It just took me a bit more than three hours, through many tears, to read every word of every page in Molly’s “award-winning” memorial. Labs rock!!!

Molly and Skye, mom and dad, I truly hope you can see by my condolence how much I’ve been touched emotionally. We are forever bonded by “the great beyond” and our angel’s existence of the “A da ge yu di: (Cherokee for “circle of love”) sent from Ga lv la di-tso sv: (Cherokee for "heaven".) I am sure you will continue to receive many special blessings and more signs sent from Molly until you meet again. Carole and “the pack” “passed” and “present.”

hi Skye. Just wanted to give you the good news. Jackson became a daddy over the weekend! I am such a proud papa! I do get a pick of the litter and since there were plenty of males and females it can be either one. Since I already have a big enough pack at my house and my brother recently lost his dear Cleo, I have offered the puppy to him. He cried but was happy. Poor Jackie Boy will now have to go to the vet to say goodbye to some of his man parts! Wanted you to know the news about my brother's new pup. Take Care, Steve

Hello, my father had a wonderful yellow lab who worked with him on his fishing boat when I was a young lad and so I decided to look at your memorial when I saw your dog was a yellow lab too. You have made a very nice tribute to your dog. I can see that you loved her very much. I am from Dublin, Ireland and I must say that I laughed so hard reading about the Molly O'Malley interviews and reading your St. Patrick's Day page. It was very funny. And I thought maybe you were named after the Isle of Skye, but I see you are a Native American Indian instead. Very nice memorial and a very pretty dog.

Heard the Angel Say

I thought I saw your face today,
in the sparkle of the morning sun.
And then I heard the angel say,
"Their work on earth is done."

I thought I heard your voice today,
then laugh your hearty meow, And then I heard the angel say,
"There's peace dear one at last."

I thought I felt your touch today,
in the breeze that rustled by.
And then I heard the angel say,
"The spirit never dies."

I thought I saw my broken heart,
in the crescent of the moon.
And then I heard the angel say,
"The Lord is coming soon."

I thought that you had left me,
for the stars so far above.
And then I heard the angel say,
"They left you with their love."

I thought that I would miss you so,
and never find my way.
And then I heard the angel say,
"They're with you every day."

"The sun, the wind, the moon, the stars,
will forever be around,
reminding you of the love you shared,
and the peace they've finally found."
