Maddie, I want to introduce Babe to you. She died in a puppy mill on August 11, exactly one year to the day after Daisey died. Babe never had a chance to wear a Halloween costume. She never went trick-or-treating, never tasted a piece of candy. She did not know what it meant to play with children. In fact, she never left her cage until the day she died. She didn't even have a name - Babe is just what her rescuers called her as she was dying in their arms. Her story is a sad one, but I hope she is happy now. Maybe you could introduce her to your friends and teach her how to celebrate Halloween.

I hope Daisey is having fun this Halloween. I hope she is in a place where she can wear her favorite costume, go trick-or-treating with a bunch of kids, then go home and eat all the candy she wants, and wash it down with all the beer she can drink. And not wake up with a tummy ache the next morning!

Daisey was always game for anything, especially if it involved getting dressed up and going out with the kids (not to mention eating candy, which usually goes with kids!). We miss her terribly.

I just read your email, and I can't tell you how much it means to me, you took the time to visit Melissa's memorial page. The tears continue to roll down my face, I still cry for her, every day. It is so comforting to know someone else shares the same emotions as me. Your Maddie is beautiful. She has such a look of love on her face. I just know, she brought so much happiness and love into your life. May God bless you, and may you, Maddie, Melissa, and I, all meet at the rainbow bridge one day.

do not worry about nose,  strips    I got ear  plugs  on the way back from ski-ing  by the way   next time you go ski-ing  you need to stay on the trail    not go  looking for that hand some  blood hound,,,,,,,it took hours looking for you only to find you curled up in the lounge by the fire  sipping hot cocoa with all the boys

Dear Sherri... I want to thank you so much for visiting today on Saada's Angelversary and for your kind thoughts! It really does mean so much. It is hard to know where the time goes, it sure doesn't feel like a year has passed. But it's true we love and miss them just as much as ever!! It is so comforting to know Saada has such a dear friend as Maddie at the Bridge! She loved small dogs... I think she thought of herself as little... LOL.  About the new ski/snow picture... I am not sure how it came to be her main photo!  It was a pic Deb had sent to go along with her guestbook entry yesterday. I had posted the picture to another page late last night, but didn't really have time to work on it, so I deleted it and was going to go back and work on it when I had more time. When I got on the computer this morning, there it was as her main photo!! Anyway it gave me a huge laugh first thing this morning, as it looked so cute. Big hugs to you Sherri and dear little Maddie.
