Hi Linda... I have to run off to work, but wanted to drop you a quick note. Thank you for all the supportive and kind words for Kyleigh. I really appreciate you thinking of my sweet little girl. Even though I did not receive the best of news from the specialist, she has actually perked up a bit and is in pretty good spirits today. I have been giving her some new meds (which has been a bit taxing!) and I have seen some improvement in her. Her conditions cannot be cured (only treated) and I am still awaiting more test results, but in recent days she seems to be feeling a little better, which I am thankful for. Thank you also for remembering that Molly's B-day is tomorrow. I am going to stop by one of her memorials on my way to work and clean out the leaves and put out some silk autumn flowers and some little mylar birthday balloons in her memorial spot (which is located along a Memory Walk). I used to go there all the time, but I feel bad that I have not been there in awhile due to Teddy and Kyleigh being sick this year. Though, I am sure Molly understands. Besides, she has a nice memorial garden at my house as well, which I have tended to. And yes, we did get snow! -- but luckily it did not stick around except for in the higher elevations. Well, I hope you have a great week -- thanks again for the support! Hugs to you and your furkids :)

Hi Linda... Thanks for stopping by and for thinking of us. I appreciate it. I received some positive news regarding Kyleigh's heart, but also received some other not so great news. I have just been so totally exhausted lately, most likely from a combination of worrying about her and a lack of sleep. Well, we are currently under a Winter Storm Watch here if you can believe that! I'm starting to wonder why I ever moved to the South years ago...LOL. What ever happened to Fall? I'm certainly not ready for snow... not yet! I hope you have warmer weather, blue skies, and sunshine out your way. Thanks again. Hugs, Skye

Hi Linda! Thanks so much for stopping by. Toni looks absolutely adorable! Thanks so much for showing me those pics. :) They did put a smile on my face (which I have needed lately). I did notice, however, that the classic Corgi grin was notably absent from Toni's sweet little face as she stood in her costume...LOL! But, she please Mommy long enough to get the shot -- now that is LOVE! She is a real cutie. I want to thank you for all of your prayers and well wishes for Kyleigh -- I am counting the days until our appt. with the specialist (which I am also dreading at the same time) -- but please know that your kindness has been greatly appreciated. Good luck with your artwork. Have a wonderful week! Hugs, Skye

I wanted to come and thank you for visiting my Picky and signing his guestbook. Picky was the light of my life and this is the hardest thing I have ever had to deal with. I want to say how sorry I am for the loss of your beautiful Milo. I didnt think there was anyone out there who was mourning the way I have been doing. I keep adding to Pickys website because I dont want to run out of memories. Thank you for coming to visit me. You are blessed

Hi Linda... Just stopping by to wish you a wonderful weekend. Thanks for stopping by the other day. I really appreciated your kind wishes for Kyleigh. I sought out a second opinion on her from a specialist in SC (as our resources are limited here), and the news that came back was not good regarding her heart and lungs. I will travel to get a cardiac ultrasound done on her Nov 1st (sooner if she gets any worse), and we will have to see where to go from there. In the meantime, I am trying very hard not to stay in that sad place that I am feeling deep inside, and I am trying very hard just to be very cheerful, upbeat, and loving around both Kyleigh & Teddy. They deserve that -- I don't need to inflict my pain onto them. Besides, I don't want to waste a minute with either of them. I hope you are doing well. I have thought of Toni recently, as I keep seeing adorable pictures of cute "smiling" Corgis dressed in Halloween & Christmas costumes lately. I think they do often pick Corgis to dress up because they are so cute and because of their tendency to look like they are smiling a big sweet smile. :) I hope your site is doing well -- I stopped back by to see how you were coming along. Looks great so far. Well, I hope you and your family have a great weekend!
P.S....Hope you are feeling much better!

Linda.... Just a quick note to say thanks so much for the kind and supportive note & ecard about Kyleigh. It has been rough news to deal with, and I am taking it one day at a time with her and just trying to love her as much as I can. I am hoping we will be able to find some things to help make Kyleigh feel better and feel more comfortable. I am so sorry to hear that you have been sick with an ear infection and bronchitis. YUCK! I know how bad both of those are, as I used to suffer from chronic painful ear infections as a kid, and then from chronic bronchitis when I got older, so I know you must feel miserable! So sorry. Rest up and I hope you will be feeling better real soon. Hugs, Skye

Dearest Milo and Linda:
Thank you so much for the words of comfort and the story. They meant the world to me. I miss my girl so much. She was my soul mate, companion, confidant and best friend for 11 years in a way that no human could be. She was so very special and there is not another dog in the world that could possibly take her place.
I still have not laid her to rest. Her ashes sit by my bed in our travel trailer in the UP of MI. She loved it up there and we will be building a home there in the next couple of years. When it is done, I am going to plant a Gretel Memorial Garden, complete with yellow roses and creeping geraniums. She found the creeping stuff to be very soft and a great place to lie down so that will be the foundation of her garden. I may even try to plant a small dogwood for her.
The comfort I have gotten from the special Critter's friends has been more than words can say.
I thank you. Please keep in touch. I love Milo's Memorial. You've done such a wonderful job with it and I take solace in the fact that there are so many others that feel about their Fur Babies the way I do.

thank you for the beautiful poem and kind words. I woke from a sound sleep and felt Isaac's presence. He's been gone a year today. I thought I would be okay but after seeing the pictures and memories I'm so sad and I miss him so bad. I would do anything to hold him again. He was a very special furbaby.. thank you again:)
