Bless you, Debbie, and your family for sharing a wonderful home, life and unconditional love with your dear Sam. I have visited with your beloved Max, first on his brithday in December 2012, and in February, but had not had the privilege of meeting Sam in person until today.
What a handsome and determined man your Sam is, Debbie. My family lost our beloved little Cinnamon to cancer on June 4, 2012, and the courage she displayed during her battle was incredible. The first everything without our girl, from 4th of July 2012 right on through Easter 2013, has been tough, but eveyday is.
Bless gentle spirits and Angels Sam and Max Arakaki, Mom Debbie and the rest of the family. May the everlasting love you all share provide you with a measure of peace, a smile, and a tear of joy, very single day.

I know how you feel as I just lost my 15 year old Chihuahua on the 9th of September, and every day has been like walking in molasses, i miss him so much. I know you miss your precious Sam more than anything, and what you wrote about your precious friend is only a small testiment in how much you loved your sweet Sam.
Some say with time, things start to get better
