Audrey, I read your memorial and am so touched by your love for Tesoro. Our pain never really gets better but it gets softer. It has been 10 & 11 years since I lost my three above and I still cry for them. I am so happy that you found someone to be with you and I know that Tesoro is dancing a little rabbit jig in heaven. Take care of yourself, Audrey, and know that we'll all be together again one day. What a party we will have! Pat

p.s. Audrey, I've wanted to get a tattoo of Tippy for a very long time. I'm going to get one next month on Valentine's Day! Thank you for your inspiration. This prayer was given to me by a Navajo friend when Tippy died in 2001.

Oh Audrey, that is such a wonderful way to honor your babies memory. Did you know, I am in Miami too? There is an organization called H.A.R.E. inc. who has a member that is a very good client at the animal hospital where I work. I dont know if they need foster parents but even if they dont, their web site has lots and lots of wonderful and important info on bunnies of all kinds. The lady i know is Dr. Dana Kremples. When shes not caring for bunnies, she is a college professor.You might want to check out both of these sites. I cannot leave links here, but you can google H.A.R.E. Audrey, I know exactly how you feel ... I still miss and will always love my son Sammy.  To this day, I still shed a few tears for him .. BUT .. we have to believe that Sammy and Tesoro are happy and healthy again.

Audrey, I LOVE, LOVE .. your tatoo of Tesoro.  It is gorgeous.  You will always have Tesoro with you ... and how exciting is that.!.!.

I send many hugs to you as I know you are sad.  I am also sorry that your partner is being held by immigration.  Perhaps soon they will release and your partner can be with you again.  I send my prayers to you and to your partner for their safe return.

Dear Audrey, Tesoro and family,

Thank you so much for remembering us on Princess' fifth angel day. It is friends like you that make these difficult days more bearable.

It is almost getting to be spring here. We had two days of beautiful, sunny, if a bit chilly weather. The kids and I dodge the raindrops to get in our daily walks and play. The forest beckons me to come and work on the trails and I will do so before long or we will not be able to get through. I put some daffodils at Princess' memorial so she looked beautiful, as always. Thank you again for your continuing support and friendship.

 My beloved Tesoro this a very sad for me , because now I loss your other mom , yesterday Miriam was taking with the police because she was drun and now they want to deport her to her Country , I am a USA Citicen born in Cuba , you know your mom and I , we are be in together for 7 years but in this country gay people dont have rights , so I can not do nothing to stop this people , one more time I am destroy , the only person I have is go in to be take away from me , me baby rabbit please talk to god talk him to make a milagro for your momis , Tesoro you know how much I love Miriam .

Audrey, I know your heart is breaking. Tesoro was your whole life. She was a beautiful bunny, so pure and white, just like the love she has for you and you for her.
