My thoughts and prayers are with you, Erica, on your dear girl Snickers Angel day. We just lost our beautiful Cinnamon to cancer June 4, 2012. Every day is tough, but I am dreading the first anniversary of her passing.
Bless you, Erica, for sharing home and life with your baby Snickers and her ever loving sister Licorice. Bless your entire family of two and four legged souls, and gentle spirits and Angels Snicker's and Licorice, on this special day. May you find a measure of peace in the uninterrupted love you share with your two beautiful girls until you are all reunited.

We, too, lost our little Missy to congestive heart failure, and had to make the same decision you did. We miss her so very much, even though it's been over a year since we lost her. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you cope with your loss, and I know there is a sense of relief that both of your furbabies are at the Rainbow Bridge, healthy and whole, and waiting to greet you someday. I can definitely identify with your feeling that you are a better person for having your girls in you life. I am just now being able to smile at Missy's memories, rather than cry, and I think that it is because of her that I am able to do that. But the grief was so overpowering at first. Our furbabies are our whole lives, and when we lose them, we are devastated. You have my deepest understanding. Love and hugs, Carol

I know all the pain and sorrow you are feeling and I send you big hugs. I'm sure it must console you a little to know that she and Licorice ARE together again and if I know my Jasper, they are all fast and furious friends, enjoying the magical kingdom of the Rainbow Bridge. It's so hard to let our babies go but to see them suffer is all the worse. It's tough on those of us that have to make these decisions, but they are the "right ones" I can see Licorice, Snickers and Jasper playing happily and they will wait for us to join them one day, you can count on it! Stay strong my friend, know that you are thought of and your girls will forever be in your heart.

03-02-2012 10:51 PM -- By: Nancy, From:  i am so very very sorry for the tragic and devastating loss of your beautiful Snickers. I too, was the owner of a older dog who spent 15 years of his life with me. His name was Picky and he died Sept 9, 2010.
I am so very sorry. As I read your story it reminded me of Picky and I. Picky would not go easily either. I know you are heartbroken and I feel the raw, unending pain you are feeling over the death of your beautiful boy.
Please accept my condolences. I am just so very sorry and wish I had the words to comfort you and make this time easier for you.
