05-05-2013 3:37 PM -- By: Bruce, From: PA Birthday blessing to adorable, giving, faithful, caring, tender and courageous Liam, and his Mom and Dad, on beloved Liam's 16th birthday.
I just met Liam in March, Sherin, on the first anniversary of his passing, and it was a honor to do so. Liam and the Jester family are again in my thoughts and prayers, as you celebrate his 2nd heavenly birthday.
I read your first angelversary tribute to your beloved Liam, and and reminded again of what a wonderful thing it is when a precious soul like Liam gets to share his earthbound years with a family who respects and loves them.
Bless amazing Angel Liam Jester, his Mom and Dad, siblings Lyla and Coal and the entire family, today and always.

Once a dog has entwined himself round your heart
he is not only yours for life, but you are his.
When he is gone, his place is forever sacred.
Other dogs are just as precious
but they all have their allotted spot in your
affections kept for them or their memory.
A heaven without one's dogs
would not be the heaven we hoped for.
A dog is always our best friend.

Today they are remembering YOU and Liam who told them stories of the wonderful times you had together and how you will be missed today and til you meet again.

Bless you for sharing a wonderful life and home filled to overflowing with mutual love, caring and devotion, with your dear Liam. You are among friends whenever you spend time visiting with or tending to Liam's memorial here on Critters.
Bless gentle spirits and Angels Liam and Ellen, on Liam's solemn Angel day and for all the days to come.
12-28-2012 12:24 PM -- By: pat, From: oklahoma Dear Sherin and Liam: Happy New Year!!! We're freezing. I know you are warmer and I'm glad. We had a big snow on Christmas day and it is beginning to melt now. Slushy mess. Today is the first day the hens have peeked off the porch. They have been getting up, eating and then spending their days perched on the porch talking to one another. I saw them around by the flower beds just now. That won't last long. Lacy and Louise love their creature comforts too much to stay out in the wet weather. :) I hope you had a great Christmas day. I know it was very hard to not have Liam with you. His spirit was there, right by you, while you cooked the Christmas noodles. I bet he got a little nibble when you weren't looking! Write to us. Things are going so-so. I'm just going to push through it. My youngest daughter didn't get to come for Christmas, the roads were too slick. My oldest is coming tomorrow with her husband and Stella. Pray that the roads will be clear. The black ice is bad here. She is going to make a ton of meals for me and freeze them. I've got my routine and so far so good. xoxoxo Pat p.s. my cowboy neighbor comes twice a day and helps by doing the 'big' chores.
12-25-2012 12:45 PM -- By: Daddy, From: Home Merry Christmas my son. I got your Momma something for Christmas and put your name on it as it reminded me so much of you and her together.
12-23-2012 3:02 PM -- By: Pat and Crowd, From: The Oklahoma Hills & Mountains Hello, Sherin: We are travelling from outpost to outpost today and leaving Christmas and New Year wishes. Beautiful, beautiful Liam..I am so happy that you liked our Christmas gift. It was a labor of love. I got your card and apologize for not getting any out. Some days I'm the bug and some days I'm the windshield. I've been both lately. But better every day. Love ya, Pat and all these animals and chickens!

Dearest Sherin and Liam and hugs to Eamonn ... thank you for your visit. Sherin, we will always and forever miss our furkids who have gone to Rainbow Bridge. There is not a day that goes by that I do not think of my beloved Sammy.
Sammy was my "everything" .. he truly saved my life and if not for him, I know I would not be here today .. long story .. but that is why I owe my life to Sammy.
Though I truly love my current furkids, Cupcake, Xander and Bentley ... and will do whatever it takes to let them know they are loved ... Sammy has and will always be my boy.
Sherin, give Eamonn lots of attention .. and always know that Liam is so very proud of you....it was Liam who sent Eamonn to you ... believe ...
Sending many hugs your way .. to another New Mexican *SMILE* .... waving from Santa Fe to you ......

10-28-2012 9:56 PM -- By: pat, From: oklahoma Sherin: How are you tonight? The temps are dropping. Last night the frost pretty much got my huge gorgeous morning glories and moon flowers. The zinnias will probably go tonight. I covered them but a t 40 and a light wind, there isn't much I can do. I had morning glory blossoms that were 4" across. I have never, ever grown them that big. The plant/vine was about 5X6, in a raised bed, and is still covered with buds. This was from ONE seed! I think the compost this year made the difference. I've had compost before but this time there were dozens and dozens of earthworms in it. The moon flower blossoms were around 5" across and one night a cute little green frog was sitting in one. I love moon flowers and morning glories, obviously.
Well, I just went out and got into my truck, when rocks didn't work, and ran the psychotic bull and his brother off. They were getting set up to fight and the dogs were going crazy. One of the bulls is certifiably crazy! When he sees me coming, he starts leaving and then he bellows once just to let me know that he's the boss.
Going to see if I have a movie here that I haven't watched. I could watch "Saving Grace" for the third time. :)
Take care, Pat
10-26-2012 1:48 PM -- By: pat, From: oklahoma Sherin, thanks for your post. I've written Liam's sister in and it is consistent with the story line. I hope you will like it.
The first indian rodeo I photographed was at Anadarko. That is the night that I started my book. I was blown away by the atmosphere behind the chutes. The indian cowboys approach rodeo very differently than anglos. Intense riendships began that night that exist to this day. I feel very blessed that I went to Anadarko, on a whim, that night. Sherin, if you have an account on MySpace, can you do a search for "Colene" and leave me your email address? xoxox Pat

10-25-2012 3:48 AM -- By: PAT AND THE SCARY, SCARY DARK MOON, From: BEHIND THE OLD RED BARN...... Dear Sherin: I just read your page of messages to Liam and of course I cried and cried.
Sherin, when Liam got to the gate at The Bridge, my entire crew met him there. He was surrounded with love and still is. Everyone at The Bridge share the bond of waiting for us. They all know that one day we will all come, one by one, until we're together as a family again. What a party we will have! Meeting one another and being with all our family and friends. My pets are my family and the ones that have gone on are with my mom and dad and my brother. It will be a great day for all of us.
The night of the day that Tippy and I took our last drive together was the loneliest night in my life. I physically hurt because I wanted him back with me. His grave is outside my window. I wish I could just see him one more time. I know exactly how you feel and Tip had to leave in 2001. Our last two years together were spent in this house. I see him everywhere. I had to leave Fayeroe in Texas and it pains me so much that I couldn't have her cremated then so she could be with me forever. I know her spirit is here but I think of her grave and worry about someone tearing her garden down.
I will let Lauvern know that you are sending her a message. I know she will be happy to hear from you.
There will be more chapters to the Halloween saga, so check Rowdy's page often. xoxoxo Pat
p.s. you know I live in Oklahoma, don't you? I saw that you visit OKC. I lived there in the 60s and 70s and am now home on the ranch I grew up on.
10-24-2012 11:35 AM -- By: PAT AND THE FURRY,FEATHERED GHOULS~, From: SPOOKSVILLE, OKLAHOMA Dearest Sherin and family, how would it be a party without Liam and his magic tricks? I know he has some new ones that he has been practicing and is pretty nervous about performing them. However, Rowdy is everywhere all at once and has visited with Liam to assure him that he will be perfect!! Rowdy is quite the party planner, wouldn't you say? :) If Rowdy doesn't lose his memory or mind before this gets finished, "Pat" will be awfully grateful! :) xoxoxo Pat
10-24-2012 11:33 AM -- By: Charles -- Sammy's, Gabby's and little Bob M's Dad, From: Santa Fe, New Mexico
Dearest Sherin and Liam ... Oh, what a smile you put on my face today with your posting. THANK YOU ..
Sherin, congratulations on adopting Eamonn .. and yes, I do believe Liam is the one who sent Eamonn into your heart.
I, too, have recently adopted yet another Pit Bull who was to be euthanized .. BUT .. I just could not let this happen to this 1 yr. 8 month old. He's a handfull for sure and getting Cupcake and Xander to welcome Bentley has been "trying" .. but little by little. Bentley just has so much energy .. loves to shred things apart ... and tries to play too rough with Xander wherein he leaves bit marks on his cheeks .. so I have to continually discipline him .. but hoping things work out soon.
Sherin, always know I love visits from my Critters Family .. though I know at times, it hurts so bad to come and visit and read postings .. BUT .. this is where I met my Critters Family and will always come here to visit.
Sending many hugs your way through the cool breezes of Santa Fe, New Mexico to you ......
Always know that Liam is with you and he is so very proud of you for adopting Eamonn.
