I met Neuman on the one year anniversary of his Angel day March 1, 2013, Deborah, but wanted to honor Neuman on his birthday, too. The love for his family, and you for him, continues to remind me so much of our little Cinnamon. She went through the first of two back operations before she turned 4 years old, but her determination blessed us with 9 more amazing years. And she would walk, literally, for hours, until the very end when the cancer became too much.
Cinnamon celebrated her first Rainbow Bridge birthday January 9th of this year, as we did her at her home, and I know she's be there for your Neuman for his 2nd RB birthday today.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Neuman and Deb. I know you will stay close until you are all reunited forever.

Bless you, Deb, and your husband, for sharing a home and life filled with mutual love, respect and caring, with you courageous little guy Neuman. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Deborah, on your babies first Angel day.
My family lost our beautiful little lady Cinnamon to cancer on June 4, 2012, after more than 13 incredible years, and I know this time has to be especially painful for you, as it is for us.
Bless gentle spirit and Angel Neuman, and the family who will always love him, today and always.

You are right, there is no truer love than between our furbabies and us. You were so blessed to have Neuman for so many years, and he was so lucky to have you as his people. My Missy shared a similar story. She almost died at five months, then, with amazing vets, modern medicine, and a constant vigil from us, she lived to be 14 and a half. I know exactly how you feel about "one more day" because you realize how precious their lives are and how their health is so tenuous, just a little stretch of that string could mean the difference between life and death. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you cope with his loss, and I truly believe in the Rainbow Bridge, where we will all be reunited in joy someday with our furbabies. I'm sure all your love and devotion gave him strength, and I'm sure he held on so long because he never wanted to leave you. It's heartingbreaking losing something that you love so much, believe me I know! What kind of dog was he? was he a maltese? My little Angel was a maltipoo, the sweetest little baby I ever had! I'm sure you feel that way too, about Neuman. I hope that your grief is tempered by the sure knowledge that you made his life wonderful, and that as much as you oved him, he loved YOU tenfold more!
