5 Years an Angel

My beautiful golden girl received her heavenly wings five years ago. The hole in my heart upon her departure has been filled with the warmth and kindness of people I never knew before. People who also mourn the loss of fur children who have meant the world to them.

As time passes I realize just how lucky I have been. First to have had the pleasure and privilege of sharing my life with another being who had the uncanny ability to see into my heart and soul and provide me with comfort, joy or support, whatever was needed at that particular time. Secondly for her ability to reach beyond the physical and bring more of the same after she had moved on in the form of special new friends.
