Cream's Story: On October 14th,2005, My Grandmother's job found Cream and his brother Cookie. We decided to take them home and right away fell in love with them. They were very happy cats who knew how to show nothing but love and affection. They used to play with us daily. One of their favorite things to do together was wrestle. As the year went on, they started to become more loving and caring. Cream would always meow when he saw Me or Dad. His favorites were Robert and his Dad, Rob. He loved to play fetch with alumminum balls. Cream ate with us every night at dinner. His favorite was bread. On May 12th,2007 we noticed that Cream was not acting like himself. He was laying down sleeping all day, throwing up when he smelt his food, and crying when we touched his stomach. We brought him to the vet on that morning. We found he had a kidney blockage which led to a Urinary Tract Infection. He stayed in the hospital for 4 days. We picked him up on May 15th. He came home and ran under the bed. He was very happy to be home. He greeted Dad at the door as he used to before he was ill. He purred and meowed as we pet him. We knew he was back to normal. Cookie would hiss at him because he smelt the hospital. As the days went on, Cream and Cookie's relationship got better. On the night of May 23rd,2007, we were calling him into the other room. He was not coming as he usually did. Robert went under the bed, started petting him, as he lay there motionless. Robert dragged him out and started screaming ''He's Gone!''. Janine and Rob (Mom and Dad) came running in and gave him CPR. He was gone. We all sat there crying over his dead body. Aunt Jenn came and joined us. We put him in a shoe box, sprinkled him in Holy Water, put a Cross of Palm on his side, put his favorite toy (Alumminum Foil Ball) next to him as we covered him in his favorite blanket. We buried him in his backyard and said our last goodbye. We love you Cream and we miss you. -Love Always, Your Buddy,Robert
PS--maybe you would still be with us, if that vet diagnosed you correctly! I'm SO SORRY!
