Mandy
January 2 1995 - July 26 2007
Mandy had her favorite chair by the window where she always lied but as soon as my dad would get off the couch Mandy would take his spot!
When Mandy was younger she would play outside with the big dogs Moochie and Duke if the got out of line she would show them who's boss and they would listen to her.
My dad would take Mandy out to the back to cut wood with him. On the way there he would put her in the El Camino with him and Moochie and Duke would follow behind. On the way back Moochie would make sure he caught a ride in the back but mandy insisted on running behind with Duke.
We have a lake in the back yard and all the dogs loved to go swimming except Mandy she would go in but just to the edge and lay there till she cooled off. Mandy didn't like the water because when we first got her she had a scare. We took Mandy to my grandparents cabin at West Hawk Lake there was a small gap between the dock and the divingboard and Mandy fell in. My dad jumped in and got her, but since then she won't go to far into the water.
On birthdays Moochie loved to sing happy birthday, at first Mandy would look at him like he's crazy. After a few birthdays Mandy decided to join in and she would take to be louder then Moochie but that was impossible. Every so often when Moochie would stop for air you could hear Mandy singing!
