Last year a special chapter of my life closed.A special time when my boy and I were together for 13 years. This chapter is safely locked away deep in my heart, which is often unlocked to remember. To My Beloved Noops, I can hardly believe a year has passed.Throughout the mayhem of home life with 3 kids from toddler to teenager,10 chickens,6 ducks and 1 large puppy, I can truly say not many(if any) days have gone by,without me thinking about you. What time has allowed me one year on,is to think about you with more happiness than sadness. There are certain things i think about that still make me cry like the morning of your last day with us.Carly and Caitlin giving you big hugs and kisses before going to school. I had to walk out the room with a big lump in my throat knowing this was their last goodbye. I couldn't fall to pieces,I had one of my hardest challenges ahead of me taking you to the vets to send you on your way to Rainbow Bridge. I remember that feeling like yesterday! Time is a healer but i know i will never stop missing you and wanting you back. Christmas was so sad last year. This year will be happier but there will always be an element of sadness as an important member of our family is missing. Im glad i found this site and created your memorial. It allows me to give thanks for all your years of love and devotion,to show you were here and how much you meant to me,and it's a quiet place i can come to be with you once more. We arn't one year further apart....We are one year closer together. Love you always,Mam x

Please God, May we have one Christmas wish for our boy Wor Noops? He's not at home for Christmas and we love and miss him so much. Please make it snow at Rainbow Bridge on Christmas eve. He loves snow.In England it rarely snows at Christmas and he loves the soft snowflakes falling on his wet nose and chasing snowballs. Thankyou God. From Carly, Caitlin & Corey x

On the 5th December we will light your candle to burn all day to mark the first anniversary of you entering Rainbow Bridge.

The Gift of Memory One gift, above all others God gives to us to treasure One that knows no time, no place And one gold cannot measure The precious, poignant tender gift Of Memory...that will keep Of dear ones ever in our hearts Although God gives them sleep It brings back long remembered things A song, a word, a smile And the world's a better place ...because We had them for awhile!

Thankyou so much to Blossom's mam Judy for Noops Christmas card.

I'm sending each of you a special GIFT from my Heavenly Home above. And sending you a memory of my undying love. After all LOVE is a gift more precious than pure gold. It was always important in the stories Jesus told. Please love and keep each other, as my Father said to do. For I can't count the blessings or love He has for each of you. So have a Merry Christmas and wipe away that tear. And always remember, I am spending Christmas with Jesus this year.

The tree is all trimmed. The gifts are all wrapped. The hymns are all sung, And the travel plans mapped. And still there's a sadness That lies in your heart, For a dog that was lost And a love now apart. A stocking is missing, With toys and a treat. A lap is now empty, A space at your feet. Yet remember this season God's small gift to you, Wonderful memories To treasure life through

To My Brother At The Bridge. Hey Noops,I've heard so much about you.Mam goes on and on and on..... You must be some boy!!! I've been to all the places you used to go,the woods, the beach. Next summer we're going to all your favourite campsites.Mam enjoys playing with me and my toys and going for walks but i know deep down, she wishes you were here too. I love romping around our garden.I chewed all the padding on Caitlin's trampoline and the other day i ran straight in the house before mam could catch me to clean my paws. Muddy pawprints over the cream carpet.Oops! It's ok though, she wasen't mad for long.I just give her the 'I may be here today, but one day i'll be gone' look. Works every time! She's soon my friend again. But then im sure you're watching all of us. Whenever the family is missing you I'll give them my wet nose and paw. Have the best christmas celebrations at the bridge Noops, from your sister Narla x

Christmas at the Rainbow Bridge

As the midnight hour approaches on Christmas Eve, a tremendous celebration begins. If you listen closely you will hear the exuberant sound of Bridgekids preparing for the remarkable moment that comes but once a year. Puppies romp through the tall green grass, chasing butterflies and rolling over and over until fits of giggles bring them to a tumbling stop. The volume increases as kittens, cats, tigers and lions purr in pure delight while the wings of snow white doves gently caress the air. The babbling brook that runs beneath Rainbow Bridge overflows onto the edge of mossy banks and fins of treasured aquatic life quiver in anticipation of this most joyous event. Nestled in the midst of this happy choir of Bridgekids are the littlest angel tots staring in awe at the majestic Christmas tree adorned with flowing strands of angel hair. Effervescent, twinkling stars seesaw elegantly from the sky and land in glorious harmony upon the stoic limbs of Heaven's most perfect Christmas tree. Swaying to and fro in nearby rocking chairs are grandmothers, grandfathers, parents, aunts, uncles and loved ones. The sound of their whispered lullabies permeate the air as they sing to tiny angel babies resting quietly in their arms. Like magic the clock approaches midnight and a great stirring is heard in the distance. Each Bridgekid stops and listens, knowing the time is near, and they choose a fleecy cloud on which to snuggle. The roar of purrs drops to barely an audible hum, the babbling brook ripples hypnotically and the flutter of downy feathered wings fall silent. Heaven's spirited toddlers climb expectantly upon the laps of angels while babies coo in tranquil unison. Amidst the warm glow of candle light which rises from the earth below, the arms of the Bridge Keeper envelop the heavens and into the precious hands of each child and in front of each animal a holy gift is placed. With grand exuberance the ribbons are removed and left to fly on a tender breeze where they dissolve into showers of angel dust. As the golden lids of these heavenly gifts are raised, an amazing aura fills the sky, reaching down to the very core of the earth. Ascending from each and every box is the greatest gift of allunending, unconditional, all-encompassing love. This blessed love gently wraps itself around the cherished souls of heaven, warming their hearts with beacons of radiant light and bringing forth from angels an exquisite chorus. As the clock strikes midnight the distance between heaven and earth is vanished. It is at this very moment on Christmas Eve that the Bridge Keeper, His children, angels and Bridgekids send a message to their earthly loved ones on the wings of this unbridled love. Listening carefully with an open heart we will hear the familiar voice of our own angel whisper softly into our ear their Christmas message ... "Let me share with you this love of mine, always and forever. When you need me know that I am here. I have not left you for I am in your heart where I belong. Our love is eternal as is the brilliant glow of candlelight, which illuminates the path to the heavens and Rainbow Bridge. I wait patiently as do you for our inevitable and glorious reunion. I love you, I love you, I love you."
