My Sweet Baby Girl

 In loving memory of Sadie Lynn White "My Sadie Lady" who I love so much and who had the purest, sweetest soul on earth.  With eyes that could see right into my own soul, you will always be with me. 

From the moment I met you and you greeted me with your gentle waving paw, to the moment I said I love you for the last time, your sweetness touched me and will live with me forever. 

The touch of your gentle paw in my hand will be felt in my heart everyday, and the beautiful song you sang with the trains will echo in my heart forever.

  I love you so much, my Sadie Lady, my Fluffy Girl, my Sweet Little Girl...

(April 12, 2008:  I just learned something about Sadie's name that I didn't know.  If you read her story, you'll know that her given name was "Sarah".  But, the first time I met her, I accidentally called her "Sadie" - and of course, from that moment on, she was my Sadie Lady.  I can't remember ever hearing that name anywhere - it just sort of slipped out of my mouth that day.  But, I just found out that "Sadie" is actually the casual name for "Sarah": which means "lady" or "princess" in Hebrew. This was the name of the wife of Abraham in the Old Testament. She became the mother of Isaac at the age of 90. Her name was originally שָׂרָי (Saray), but God changed it (see Genesis 17:15).  So, you see, Sadie was always a lady, a princess, and always an angel of God.  )

Bailey loves you and misses you, but knows he'll see you again some day (he says to save him some cookies).  Meanwhile, run and play, and know that we love you.

Who knew when Mama brought you home that Saturday morning that you and Bailey would become such fast friends. 

Bailey crossed the Rainbow Bridge on October 17, 2012 to join me in Heaven.  I know that Mama is sad, but I am so excited to see him again.  We'll watch over her, we promise!

Goodnight Baby Girl, I love you, sweet puppy dreams and I'll see you in the morning.

Your beautiful eyes will shine in my soul Sadie.  I know that the spark and brillance are back in them, and I know that someday I'll see them again.  Until then, I will miss you.
