The day we brought you home--1995

Daddy found you on a farm in Bethel, Pennsylvania.  When he was at work one afternoon, I went and picked you up.  You were the cutest little thing!  We drove home in Mommy's little car, you riding shotgun.  By the time Daddy came home, I was convinced that you were deaf.  You were a very spirited puppy and would not listen to me, only Daddy.  One thing that you did for me and refused to do for Daddy is walk on a leash (which we perfected together) and go potty.

Where is my girlfriend?

At our first house, on 18-1/2 Street, you demolished so many things in the house.  A few things come to mind:  answering machine wire, living room carpet, back yard grass.  You loved our next door neighbor's dog, Diamond.  She loves you too, that is until you hopped over the fence during the snowstorms of 1996.  Daddy had to run up the snow pile to go after you.

Momma's boy!

You were such a wonderful dog, but always sick.  You had many trips to the vet for either an illness or an injury.  I am so very sorry I wasn't with you at the end, baby, but your Daddy and I separated a few months before you passed, and he took you to the vet by himself.  I will say this, you never did anything wrong in the 10 years we had you.  I love and miss you to pieces!
