It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them,
and every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart.
If I live long enough all the components of my heart will be dog,and I will become as generous and loving as they are.

How Miss Luna stole my heart, I miss her still ... then she gave me Lily, the sweetest little girl who needed a friend, and then came Opal.
I know Lily and Opal love one another as much as I love Luna ... one day my heart will be whole again when I can wrap my arms around every dog I ever loved.
