HAPPY BIRTHDAY PUCK!!! When ever I look in to the deep blue sky, it's those eyes that I see looking back at me! May you always  know how imporatnt your friendship is to me ...    

… As all the little angels are stirring about, getting all excited and awaiting the Big Birthday Bash … Yup a Louuu-out! Yippee, now everyone can wear their who-o-la shirts and coconuts…Luna eyes Puck trying to tie a well hung coconut by his sack … and laughs, “these are mighty hard” … and rolls over laughing, … Luna catching what’s going on, lifts one eye brow and starts laughing … “Now How Yaw Gonna move those legs. Ever one is in festive mode. Dale is relaxing and helping the boys with the BBQ, we have Luke, Rocky, and Toby and now Dale tending to the grill … Greta, Minnie, Patch, Misty Rose and Maddie are helping prepare the sides, we have a whole lot of other angels getting the frosty drinks ready, and tending to the bakery …

I didn’t want to distract from the mood … while everyone is pitching in as they always do … Luna walks to the other side of the island, Puck’s Island. After a fun day of frolicking and whipping up a storm (we can see it all now), the waves are gently pushing against the sides of his new ship … Yup, a huge sail boat smack in the middle of the harbor … When they gather aboard up in the helm is a cute cuddy cabin with a table set for two … Luna quickly fixes the curtains, she draped the windows with a silk and lace … and in the little cabin is their party hats! Puck places on his head his hat and grins, Dollie smiles and ties hers on with the scarf … we look like pirates!!! Yaw Hoy Mattie … as the night begins to unfold and the moon drifts upon us, every star sparkles to show us the way as they float and grace the evening sky … ALL HAND ON DECK, ALL HANDS ON DECK … Puck turns all shared of red and says, “What”, “What???” … Dollies blushing too … we’re ready to set sail. As each little one has boarded and even the birds are perched on ropes, and the lanterns grace the tall masts … all places point home, our true North … HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! We love you all so very much! Happy Bark-day Puckie, Dollie and all our Rainbow Bridge angels. Happy Birthday to you!

There is a lull in all the activities at Maddtique ,so Maddie slips away for a very important  thing:

      PUCKS BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!

Maddie sets up a beautiful white cake with baby blue trim and tiny candles,(doesnt light them, fire safety, no one home..) Maddie stands on a step stool,(shes pretty short, you know) to put an enormous banner over the door to Pucks dining area, and she quickly darts about putting streamers everywhere.....she also takes a peak around to see if Pucks REAL 50s clothes are ANYWHERE to be found, (although Pucks new pink "get-up" is starting to grow on her)

The banner reads:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO A VERY SPECIAL GUY!!!!!!!          ( Maddie blushes just a little as she hangs it..)

Finally finished, Maddie pulls the door behind her and smiles as she imagines Pucks surprised face when he comes in after Maddtique closes.......

my dad used to play this and sing this on his guitar...he would play it over and over and over again till he got it down perfectly.......I could sit and listen to him play...the same song for hours...I remember puck llewis and brandie (and before puck and brandie, there was pucks mom nikki, and before that gigi 05/25/68to 08/10/89) all laid on the floor at my dads feet and just listen to the guitar ... the noise and the music...and the sound of his voice....never too loud just soothing enough....i would sit in the rocking chair with puck (puck liked to lay on his back like a baby in my arms) and i would rock him to sleep with the sound of my dads music .. either live or recorded......

oh the memories...thank you lauvern and luke...and granny!  they gave me this song so long ago....

my dads 85th birthday would have been 11/04/09....

I have his guitar and banjo where i can see it every day......

oh little man.   what a day..what would i do without all your friends....

happy birthday little man....i am going home to work more on your pages...
