Two Trees of Valinor

Telperion, the Silver or more commonly known as the White Tree is the elder of the two trees of Valinor.

It sheds silver light, its leaves were of dark green, shining silver beneath, and his boughs were decked with brilliant flowers that shed a rain of silver dew.

Laurelin,  or The Golden Tree of Valinor, the younger of the Two Trees  shed golden  light on the realm in the long years before the Sun and  Moon

 Those who wished to reach Valinor could do so by sailing on Into the West. 

 A ship sailing Into the West left  and travelled through the air  'as if it were on a mighty bridge' , until the ship  came to The Blessed Realm just past the Undying Lands

I kind of imagine Rainbow Bridge being like this...full of Light and Beauty and Music.   Green fields in golden light from the days sunshine.  In the evening, silver light to cast the glow so as not to be dark.  The water like silver glass as pure as fresh mountain rain, untouched except by those that dwell there.  Angels in forms of gulls, doves, eagles, Heavens little helpers that take the shape of all animals, they ride the ships and ferries Into the West, so as no critter or animal will every go hungry. They can run and play in the field of dreams..and in the meadows...and swim and eat and drink and all kinds of toys.....

All who dwell at Rainbow Bridge are not gone.....
