My Sweet Molly....

Oh, how I still miss you... and I love you beyond words.  It's been over a year since you journeyed to that beautiful, amazing place.  Since then, I have seen holidays, Christmases, my birthday, and the seasons all come and go ... and none have held that same light and joy they once had when you were here.  What a gift you were to me.  And I will be forever grateful for having had you in my life, precious girl.  How blessed we all were.

What I wouldn't give just to hold you in my arms once again.... to kiss that bony little knob on the top of your precious head.... or to look into your beautiful, soulful eyes once more and see the spirit of an angel.

But in quiet moments, I can feel you with me.  I know you come to me when you know I need you most.  I sense you there.  Thank you for still coming around -- I would expect nothing less from your loving, gracious heart.  You were always so giving, so ready to lend affection at a moment's notice.  So eager to console or to lift someone's spirits.  I want you to know your visits are not in vain... I sense you there, and it brings me some comfort.  Thank you, my forever friend.

I hope you know, Sweet Girl, that I have more love for you than there are stars in the sky -- and I always will.  You will be forever in my heart.  Thank you for being all that you were to me.  But most of all.... Thank you for loving me.
