Ohiopyle State Park July 2008

These pictures of Treynor are from our last hike in July 2008 to Ohiopyle before he lost his right hind leg to cancer. These three pictures were taken on a large boulder overlooking the Youghiogheny River. We used to stop and hang out a lot on this boulder during our many hikes to Ohiopyle. We did make it to Ohiopyle one more time before he passed but sadly he was physically unable to make it this far on our last visit.

Boyce Park is an Allegheny County park close to where we live. Treynor practically grew up in this park. These pictures were taken on a picnic table in the woods that trail bike riders had made into a jump ramp. Treynor and I kind of  adopted this table and used it to hang out in the woods on nice days.

Ohiopyle SP 2008

Kayakers are allowed to jump the main falls @ Ohiopyle in the Youghiogheny River one day a year, usually in September. These pictures were taken on falls jump day in September 2008, the last time that Treynor was still strong enough to make the trip.
