Dear Momma and Daddy ~

Even though I am no longer here, I still love you more than anything in this world. I am lucky to have had you as my parents for 12 years, as you showed me unconditional love at all times and made me feel like I was not "just a dog." Now I am with Lantz, Brandy and Kirby, and Marcy and Marty, too. I am sitting in Gramma's lap right now and she wants me to tell you she loves you and misses you. I know I have to wait a long time to see you guys, but I cannot wait until the day we are united once again because it's just not the same without you and Sister and Kevie. Well, I gotta go for now...it's time to lick ice cream off Grampa's lips. See, Daddy...he promised he would carry out the ice cream tradition so it feels like I am still at home with you and Momma. I will love you forever and ever...

Love ~ Your little boy Jax

Hi Kevie!

I wanted you to know that I think you are the best big brother any little boy could ever have hoped for! I am so glad we got to hang out one last time and watch the Red Wings together (even though they did not win...ARGH!). Please know that I really wanted to give you my paw when you left, but I just couldn't, as I was not feeling well. I will always remember the times you played rough with me to make me the tough guy I am today. It comes in handy now that I have to compete with 5 other dogs for Gramma and Grampa's attention! I will also remember the times we sat together on the couch, when I pawed at you to keep petting me and you pretended to be annoyed...we both know you liked it, too!

Before I forget, please tell Rosie I'm sorry for not saying goodbye to her. It's been a while since I have seen her, but that does not mean that I love her any less! I promise to take good care of her when it is her turn to visit me since she has been nothing but good to me over the years.

I will always love you, Brother. Please take good care of Momma, Daddy and Sister for me...promise?

~ Your "Chops"

Hi Sister!

I don't know where to begin. I miss hearing you shout "BOOG!!!" as you walk in the door. There are no doors up here and certainly nobody with a mouth like yours! Sorry, you know I had to say that! ;o)

Even though I could not tell you at the time, I appreciated you holding me for the last moments of my life...it meant the world to me. I really looked up to you, Sis. You loved me so much and I loved you 100x more! You are a really good Mommy to Parker and Payton...I really do love them, by the way, even though I did not always show it. I won't be mad if Parker wants to lay in my bed now or play with my toys, or if Payton wants to eat all my food. Please promise me you will let them do whatever they want at Momma and Daddy's house...and they need to visit often so Momma and Daddy don't hurt so much since I'm not there, OK? I'm giving you my paw from Puppy Heaven, can you feel it? I love you so much and cannot wait until we see each other again, Sister.

~ Forever your "Boogy"

Parker & Payton ~

I know I gave you a bunch of crap at times, but I loved you little guys. I enjoyed our walks together with Momma (your Gramma) and Sister (your Momma). I honestly think you boys kept me younger with your constant wild, puppy-like behavior...so, thanks! You need to make sure you listen to your Mom at all times, and try to be as good for her as I was for my Momma and Daddy...yeah, good luck with that! ;o) Be especially nice to Gramma and Grampa now that I am gone since they will need lots of love and attention. I have no doubts you will do just fine! I have to go for now...I just got a new "Baby" and I really want to play with it because I miss the one your Momma bought me. Take good care of her, and my Momma and Daddy, and your Uncle Kevie and Rosie for me, and I promise I will save you both a good spot up here when it's your turn to play for eternity. I really do love you, Parker and Payton. Keep the little dog momentum going in the neighborhood...we need to outlast those big dogs!

Love ~ Uncle Jax
