My mind holds many memories that it continues to flow,

embedded in my heart that I wanted you to know.

That memories can come and memories can fade,

never the ones with you that both you and I have made.

I thank you for these memories so dear in my life,

teaching me about love without all the strife.

You taught patience as I watched you slowly grow,

teaching me serenity more than you'll ever know.

I taught you to sit and to give your golden hand,

you taught about faith in the golden land.

for faith is strong and that sometimes we are blind,

it takes an angel to teach us, one who is very kind.

to teach us the value of each and every day,

to cherish memories for moments can never stay.

Thank you for your bravery up until the end,

I'll remember you in youthful times

my very dearest friend.

I'll vision you in the heavens

your legs all healed and free,

my eyes your vision so you can clearly see.

for the circle of life is often a sorrowful fate,

I look forward to the day we meet at rainbow gate.

for now life must goes on

these memories pure as gold,

memories to have as I grow feeble and old.

Thank you for the inheritance that you bestowed on me,

to appreciate life's blessings to open my eyes to see.

That life holds so much beauty and time goes by so fast,
