This dear poem, as well as Fluffy's Eulogy, was written by my mother.  She truly loved my little sweet-pea, and affectionately took the greatest care of her ever when I couldn't be with her.

            Ode to Fluff-a-Nutter

Such a sweet girl, we will never forget

The “attitude” - the “walk”  - the determination to get

whatever you wanted,  whatever it was

from that bug on the ground - to the crumpled paper in flight

as you leaped through the air so graceful and light.

You ruled the roost

that is certainly true,

whether with Marner and Tad or Hider and Goo.

And now what is left is precious indeed

as we hold on to your memory, your love which we need.

One thing we know for sure-

the love -the joy in our hearts remain  

strong and steadfast and will not wane,

as we ‘thank you’ Miss Fluff for letting us be a part

of your journey - a part of your wonderful, loving  heart!
