Your face, that sweet, sweet face.  How I miss you on this second day without you.  Dad had a hard time this morning when he gave Dozer the puppy snacks but you weren't there to get yours.  That was a tradition started so many years ago between the two of you. He doesn't say much but I can see it in his eyes how much he misses his Puppy Girl.

Sissy is hurting so bad too.  She called me last night and we both cried and cried.  She loved you so very much.  Grandma cried too yesterday when she called me.  Kelly sent me a picture of you that she had taken during the winter of you in the snow.  She ordered a copy of the pic for me before she knew it was going to be your time to cross over the bridge.  Kelly cries for the Gretsky girl.

Dozer misses you! Today I gave him one of both of your favorite chewys.  He took it and went looking for you.  He searched and search the house for you but couldn't find you.  He's so sad Gretey!  He's not eating and he's whining.  I never expected that but it's the truth.

They say memories are golden well maybe that is true. But we never wanted memories, we only wanted you.

A million times we needed you, a million times we cried. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.

My sweetest Girl:  June is your birthday month, as that is when we got you and no one really knew your birthday.  Your life started when we brought you home so June it is.  You were such a special girl.  You made our life complete when you entered it.  I miss you, My Gretsky Girl.  You were my bestest bud!
