Within the bounds of heaven

Within the sky of lights

An Angel holds life’s vigil

Upon the world each night..

His eyes have seen the burdens

The pain and sadness there

But joyful avocations

In God’s own reverent prayer..

Rain will fall from Heaven

As Angels spread their wings

Feeling the joy of love

As a mist of tears it brings...

Feel the love fall down on us

In sacred tears of pain

Passing through an Angel’s wings

With love that still remains.
