Dear Black Kitty,

Hello, sweetheart. It's been so long since that sad, miserable rainy day we lost you, little one...

Oh, how you were a magnificent and strong kitty; so brave and so determined, too...your kitty momma was Precious' sister, and your human daddy had you and Precious when I met him. We always felt with all our hearts that you were Boots' and Mittens' Daddy, and they did have a lot of black in their fur, but then your coat underneath had white, like soft cotton, next to your skin, as, like your Aunt Precious, you had Himalayan in you, too...Mittens had white in her fur, too.

Mommy picked out little Boots, and we kept little Mittens, too. We then found homes for your two other kittens, and you then had your big boy surgery...

Daddy and I will always love you very much, our handsome gent...please have fun with all your children, Boots, Mittens and your two adopted-out kittens, and your Aunt Precious, too, sweetheart...plus Sugar and Bogie, who you also loved. My tears are back again...We miss you, little angel...
